You have to thoroughly clean the tank every few weeks though, Duke, so that can be a hassle too. 3nodding

Yes, but a fish won't bite anything, and I'm used to cleaning the tank so it's no big deal. blaugh

Not all dogs bite you know. stare Cats rarely do either. You're stereotyping, which almost hurts my feelings...

But dogs do crap where they please, well until they're trained.

@Kita: To correct you, Kita, cats will bite regularly but most of the time it's a warning bite telling you that they are annoyed. Happens with my cat all the time. Then again it all depends on the cat.
@duke: It's not that hard teaching a dog that it can only poop in a certain place and not where ever it pleases. It does, though, vary in difficulty with each breed.

I'm a man with little time, looking at my old fishie' for a couple of minutes (read: hours) a day is enough for me. xd

You just don't want to waste time picking up dog crap, or vacuuming cat hair(and the ocassional vomit).

Yup, and I always get ideas from watching my fish swim around. 3nodding

Ah man, I love my dog though. Dogs have this strange way of being where no matter what they always like you. You have this one completely loyal being in the world that is always happy to be around you. Not too mention me and my dog have gotten into some killer fights. Naturally he always wins because he has far more speed and the advantage of claws and teeth.

Exactly, Monk! You can have so much more fun with a dog if you're active than with a fish. You can't take a fish on a walk... okay, yes you can, but people will -stare- at you if you do.
Duke: What sort of ideas do you get?

I prefer cats to dogs, especially after our previous dog attacked my sister. I love how lazy cats can be. I love my cat even though it seems to dislike me. XD

When I need ideas, besides doing random list to get my mind jogging, I write about my fish. 3nodding

I find fish rather boring. I wish I still had my nameless crocodile gecko. XD

I'm a dog person. I love my dog he's the perfect companion for those days where you feel like crap because he just wants to be with me and wants to do things. It's like he knows what I'm thinking and how to act in accordance...then again I know he's not that smart.

That one of the only things I like about a dog there are always there for you. Not so true with a cat, though. sweatdrop
What I like about cats is that they tend to be more independent than dogs.
