The walk took longer than expected. It seemed that today was busier than usual since it was unusually crowded with people today. Lucy hugged closer onto her guardian. Crowded places full of people weren't the types of things that the little girl really liked. But she felt herself breathe out a sigh of relief when she saw the doors of the cafe.
Rein pulled and held the doors open. She watched as the toddler happily skipped inside. "After you!" the woman happily says making a hand gesture.

Taelia enjoyed the long walk, it had been a while since she had been out and about. She wasn't bothered by all the people, and it seemed that Riku was neither.
She thanked Rein for holding the door open for her as she walked in. When Taelia was in, she held the door at her end for the other woman, smiling cheerfully.

"Thank you!" Rein smiled. A waitress waited by the counter, holding several menus in her arm. "Table for three" Rein told her, who gladly lead them to a nearby table.
As she placed the menu in the center of the table, she noticed Riku. "Ma'am, would you like a high chair for your baby?" She asked kindly.
Lucy sat in the seat that was closer to the blonde woman. She placed her plush on top of the table. She tried to stretch over to reach one of the menus, but they were too far from her. The pink-haired girl used the same method she had used before at the park; her vectors. But this time, she was slowly pulling it closer to her instead of having it floating around her. That way, it is less noticeable.

Taelia smiled to Rein, "You are welcome!"
She nodded to the waitress and smiled, "Yes, please." It'd be easier having Riku in a high chair than her holding him. He might like more freedom as well.
Riku watched in fascination as Lucy used her powers to grab a menu. It was amazing! He wasn't sure quite what was going on, but the girl seemed to have strong magic.

"I'll be right back!" The waitress replied happily.
By the time the waitress was gone, Lucy had managed to pull the menu close to her. Although, she couldn't read most of the stuff on it anyway. Usually that have little pictures of sandwiches, specially made drinks, and cakes that they serve.
The pink haired girl looked up from her menu and noticed that Riku had been watching her. Perhaps he wanted a menu too? Although she wasn't too sure, Lucy decided to use her vectors to gently push another menu towards the boy.
However, this time, Rein had noticed what Lucy had been doing. Before she had gotten the chance to scold the girl, the waitress had return once again with the high chair.
She placed it next to Taelia and smiled. "Here you go ma'am!" Stepping back several steps to give her some space, she took out a pen and a notepad from her work apron and smiled at the group. "Would you like to order some drinks first?"

Riku giggled happily as the menu started scooting towards him. He reached out his short arms, trying to grab it. This was fun!
Taelia nodded, "Thank you so much!" She gently placed Riku in it and buckled him in.
Riku looked around, confused at first, then decided that his high seat wasn't so bad. He leaned out as much as he could, trying to see what he could see, but being strapped in, it wasn't that far.
Taelia nodded, "May I have Coke, please?" She asked the waitress.

Lucy smiled a little at the boy. Seeing him so happy because of what she did felt rather refreshing, to say the least. Although, now she was being watched more closely by Rein, it'd be somewhat hard to "play" with him.
"Alright, and you miss?" The waitress asked, addressing Rein.
"I'd like bubble milk tea, and Lucy would like the usual strawberry milkshake!" Rein says. They've been to this place many times, and their drinks were always the same.
The waitress jotted down their orders and then she looked over towards Riku and smiled. "And what would you like sweetie?"

Riku smiled and burbled when the nice lady talked to him. He didn't know what she said, but she sounded nice.
Taelia smiled, "Do you have any grape juice in a sippy cup, ma'am?" Riku seemed to like the darker colored juice, and she wanted to make sure he didn't spill it.

The waitress giggled and gently petted the infant's head.
"We have grape juice, but I'm afraid we don't have any sippy cups...however, we do provide juice boxes and plastic cups for younger children. But I'm not sure if that'll be alright."

Riku made a noise something like a purr when the waitress patted his head. He loved getting attention.
Taeila thought for a moment, "Okay, thank you, can we have a plastic cup without a lid please?" She thought the straw might hurt Riku, so she'd help him drink when he was thirsty.

"That's fine!" The waitress smiled and then jotted down the last bit on her notepad. "I'll return with your drinks as soon as possible. In the mean time, you can look over the menu and find whatever you'd like to order!" With that, the waitress gave one more pat on the Riku's head before disappearing into the kitchen.
Rein was busy flipping through the menu, trying to decide if she should order her usual, or just get something new for once. "I haven't tried a lot of these things yet. Usually, I just order the same thing over and over again~!"
Instead of starting with appetizers or main dishes, Lucy was busy staring at the deserts that they had. "I want this big cake!" She replied and pointed at the picture of it. It was two large sliced with large strawberries on it and covered in frosting, sprinkles, and even sugar itself. Just looking at it could possibly give people a toothache.
"I doubt you'll finish it..." Rein muttered. "Especially if you get your french toast..."
Refusing to take no for an answer, Lucy says, "I'll share it!" Then she turned her head towards Taelia and then Riku. "I'm sure they'll like some." She added, not giving any more room for objections.

Riku gave a small giggle at the pat on his head, and turned around to watch the waitress walk away. Where was she going?
Taelia nodded to Rein, "Hmmm...I haven't been here before myself, is there anything you'd recommend?" She wondered what it was that her new friend did order every time. It must be good if she continuously ordered it.
She laughed, "The cake does look pretty good..."

"See? Miss Taelia obviously wants some. So I want the cake!" Lucy insisted. She then pointed at the picture again.
Rein sighs once more. "If you get a bad toothache, don't blame me when I take you to the dentist!" She frowned at the rather demanding girl. Then she turned her attention back to the other adult at the table. "Well for appetizers, I always order the fried calamari and garlic bread. I get clam chowder for a side dish and then I'd always order pineapple fried rice." She rubbed the back of her neck, out of habit. "I didn't think pineapple fried rice was all that good until I tried it. It was the same for pineapple topped pizza too!"
She then gestured towards Lucy. "She likes their specially made french toast. It it topped with whipped cream, strawberry slices. Not only that, it has hot chocolate sauce filling and is also sprinkled lightly with more sugar. Lucy tends to drench it in maple syrup so that adds even more to her toothache explosion..."
Lucy smiled at the woman. "I like it. I think you will too!" She then pointed at her guardian. "She doesn't have any taste. Don't listen to her!"
Hearing what Lucy said, Rein faked an expression as if she was truly hurt by the words that the little girl just said. Though, if it had been in the pass, maybe. But by now, Rein was used to it.
The waitress had returned with three glass cups. Two where Rein and Lucy's. The other was Taelia's coke. She placed them onto the table. "Sorry for the wait. Most of these drinks are freshly made. The grape juice will be here any second now! In the mean time, have you decided yet?"

Taelia gave a laugh, "I didn't mean to cause any trouble!" The cake did look wonderful though!
She paid careful attention to Rein as she described all the different food they ate, "Wow, everything sounds so good!" She laughed, "Pineapple pizza's pretty good, especially with ham! I had some friends that always insisted on ordering it that way, so I tried it one day, it was good."
Taelia nodded, "The French Toast sounds fantastic too!" She smiled at Lucy, "Hmmm....Thanks! Maybe I will order it, though, there's so many good choices!" She laughed, "I think everything sounds delicious! Even Rein's choices!"
She smiled at the waitress, "No worries, thank you so much!" She thought for a moment, "Um, I think so, if everyone else is ready..."
Riku looked in fascination as the light sparkled off the glass cups, it was pretty!

"The fried rice is a pretty big dish. So usually, I have left overs to bring home. We can just order one and you can try some of it to see if it's to your liking or not!" Rein suggested. "But if you feel you haven't eaten enough, you can always order something else too!"
She turned her attention back towards the waitress asking for the usual while also asking for the super deluxe cake for desert.
The waitress then looked at Taelia. "And what would you like?"
