.....Now mounting his opponent, Aurorion could feel X's body brace upon impact. 'Good reflexes.' Bracing his body likewise, Aurorion gripped the sides of his opponent in order both to prevent X's escape and to avoid the looming edge. In retrospect, X, too, placed both hands upon Aurorion's frontside. However, the reasons differed: Aurorion sought to hold on, X sought to break away.
.....Siezing yet another opportune moment, Aurorion swept his arms up and into the elbows of his opponent, forcing them into an agonizingly inverted bend. In a single fluid motion, Aurorion curved his upward heave and siezed hold of X's shoulders; once more, Aurorion clashed craniums together to deliver yet another devastating blow. Again, he aimed for the nose, though this time he bent his neck and offered the crown of his skull.
.....'Time to end this!' Though he had undoubtedly enjoyed their match, Aurorion felt the end nearing, and hoped it played out in his favor.
.....Pulling a successive move - and ignoring the dull thud spreading uncomfortably across his skull - Aurorion held his opponent's sides a moment longer before swinging his right leg against X's left side, forcing him sideways. In addition, Aurorion forcefully twisted X's body to the right, hoping to connect X's frontside with the stone arena. Having performed such a move, Aurorion, still atop his foe, would continue on to sieze his target's ankle, squeeze, press ankle to ground, and pull upward hard upon the toes of X's foot, whichever he may have managed to grab.

By the time Trition was able to gain a firm grasp, X had come back to his sences. He was worried for a moment when his arms were bending the wrong way, but when the grasp was redirected to his shoulders he felt at ease. Another head blow, but this one would not catch him nearly as open as the last had. His head was hard, both figuratively and literally, and he met Tritions skull with the brunt of his forehead. The outcome would be no less then the sudden sting of mutual migraines, but probably little more.

Gritting his teeth, he was not about to let this holy fighter take advantage of his current position. With a hold on his shoulders and not his arms, X took fast action. Finally close enough to target a non-vital limb, Aurorion would feel the wrath of the Art of the Two Layers.

At the same moment that Aurorion struck forth with his knee, X struck up to hit the pit of his opponents left arm, where there were no vital organs but also no protective armor. His fore-knuckles extended, the blow would land much as the prior one had, by collapsing and hitting again with the flat of his fist. Un-like the prior show of this attack, there was no long preparation, nor the semblance to the ‘one-inch punch’. In truth, neither of these had been required the first time, they were simply to show off the power and ease at which X could strike. He was well learned in this art, and had he wanted to kill his opponent, every blow landed thus far would have been as devastating as the prior one that had cratered the ring.

When Tritions blow hit his side, he pushed off with his left foot. Hopefully breaking the hold his opponent held on his shoulders, he planned to move only a few feet to the side and regain his footing. If his blow landed, X was certain that Trition would not be happy.

.....Ever since seeing his opponent destroy a good portion of the arena floor, Aurorion was wary of X's fists. Thus, he was acutely aware of the offensive maneuver soon as it sprung into action. Armpit was where X was aiming, and armpit was where Aurorion's left knee would slam, leaping up to mirror his previously raised offensive right knee. As a result, X's arm would be hindered a deal, and much less easy to swing. Simultaneously jutting out his left elbow, Aurorion aimed to hook arms with X, as if they were square dancing, though in reverse.
.....His left knee jammed into a right armpit and his left elbow jammed into a right elbow, the two fighters would look quite awkward at this moment. However, the awkwardness would not hinder Aurorion.
.....Again acting quickly - Aurorion knew the end of the match loomed in front of both opponents and action was necessary - the holy warrior used his trump card; searing energies encased both his hands, leaping to degrees capable of crisping flesh within half a minute. Not wishing to risk another close call, Aurorion slid his hands down the length of X's arms, pressing away from himself enough to hinder any incoming blows; the stench of burning cloth and hair and flesh would waft into air.
.....Reaching X's wrists, Aurorion flung both minutely blistered limbs out and away, then gathered his leg strength and abdominal strength as he jerked himself toward X. His clenched fists, still encased in searing energies, aimed to cross paths just about X's face and came in with bone-crushing force on either side of his jaw.

Aurorion Trition, this holy warrior, he was good. He was strong. He was skilled. At another time, in another place, they would certainly have become comrades. But not here. Not now. This was not only a tournament, but this was the place where X would show himself. Where X would make his name known. Where X would win the prize.

He was amazed that Trition blocked his attack, the move would have only barely been visible from his position, but apparently that had been enough for his opponent, he was a true Muay Thai master. Another landing of blows, a solid muay thai knee and elbow. The blows were starting to take their toll, even through the layer of metal that dispersed their impacts, X squinted in pain.

Within moments, Aurorions hands had taken to X’s arms. He didn’t notice at first, but something had coated his opponents hands, a holy searing light, and it was burning right through his jacket and the two other layers beneath it. The layer of metal closest to his body took the brunt of the heat, and it took a moment for the metal to heat up. In truth he didn’t even feel the heat until his arms were thrown away, and by then it barely mattered.

His face, on the other hand, would not have been so resilient. As the two fist closed in on him, his body moved in reflex. His head dropped down and back and his shoulders rose and instead of crushing his jaw, both fist landed on the outside of his shoulders, squishing them together and straining the muscles around his neck.

With his fists aflame, X could not allow him to get in another blow. His arms, recently thrown asunder, had been brought back to his sides by his shrugging action. In one fluid motion, he threw both arms forward. His left was a closed fist aimed straight at Tritions chest, and his right hooked to his opponents side with knuckles raised for a disabling blow. The act of punching had undoubtedly dropped his shrugging guard and his face was sure to be momentarily singed, but a slight burn was a small price to pay for a winning blow.
