Nephilim Blade Most humans are prone to be one sided fighters . Using left more than right or legs more than arms and vica-versa. Prone to be one sided at everything really! You should see me skii! Freaking left foot is all over the place!

Soul Fighters Leg Kicks longlived longlived I use both balanced out to fight, but i guess i tend to favor palm strikes, graps and pressure points, so my hands and arms. When point sparring i use my legs to keep my oponets away from from me and to distract them. I have good balance. I'll throw multiple side kicks, start to but my foor down and then fake them out by throwing some more side kicks when they come in on me. You must look like an idiot while doing it rofl No, no one sees it coming. I also use it a lot, so that it will be expected and then just smack them in the head(rarely works, but i have gotten a few points.)

hmmm, sparring i prefer to keep ppl at adistance with kicks and get points by counters or my kicks. so in that situation mostly legs. if were in a real up close and personal fight where i can take a few and not worry about points, i use my hands/ grappling most of the time

I prefer punches because I'm a Southern Style Kung Fu (in the south they were farmers, and used they hands more, north had mountains the strengthen their legs). I can still do some pretty strong kicks, my favorite being Dragons Whip (like a roundhouse, but you use your shin to strike).

I favour both hands and feet, although I normally just use whichever one I can use at the time (If their lower body is open, I kick. If their upper body is open, I punch). I also tend to use my legs as a kind of 'feint'.

Once you work your way up in routine it doesn't hurt at all. I remember starting out though, OWWW!!

I remember starting out though, OWWW!! lol i guess its a different mentality in the arts, with mine if it hurts you're doing something seriously wrong xd if it hurts you i mean, if it hurts the other person then you're doing it right xd

Ah. I think darkling could explain the whole hardstyle/ softstyle meanings better than i could.
Basically a style that focuses on forms, defensive movements, routines but only occasional combat or sparring in its practice is considered a "soft" style. they tend to be primarily focused on defense and using as little force possible to accomplish its goals in combat, but not to be confused with not having any attacks at all though so don't be confused. Hard styles , well. Pretty much the opposite, but they are facets of themselves! softstyles and hard styles both have the same aspects, just different amounts of each. Hardstyles for example tend to be straight and to the point. "I'm going to injure him until he cannot continue or cannot harm me." ted to have a lot of sparring or combat. still a lot of conditioning. a lot more offensive then many martial arts. A good example is the contrast that you made! In hard styles its not necessarily a bad thing to feel pain.
Hope that helps!
A lot of karate tends to be considered "soft style" depending on the instructor.
If you are talking about kaju kembo (spelling?) or kyokushin karate then these are very much considered to be hard styles. anyone who knows these arts can tell you why xd
