"Well for the fun of all the adlt foxes here," Enzo replied with a slight laugh. Then he looked down at the kit and smiled sincerely. "Don't worry, Ratri, we really are just kidding." Enzo was surprised at himself. This wasn't even a side of himself he even shows his family half the time. Since when had he becom so... soft?

Safiya was glad that the male modi was being so gentle with the kit, even if they were teasing him horribley. "Yes, for our amusement is the best thing to be sacrificed for." She said, agreeing with Enzo, then catching sight of the kit's suspicious look, she relented. "Of course we're just kidding. I don't think anybody could sacrifice a kit as cute as you, right Enzo?" she said, softly, trying to ally his fears.

Enzo laughed and nodded, agreeing with Safiya. "She's right. And I've seen quite a few kits in my lifetime. There was this one kit..." Enzo trailed off to think for a moment. "Well, I actually haven't seen a kit since my sister's and I were kits. I never once thought they were adorable, though. And if I had a choice, I would have sacrificed them for something a long time ago... Well not really..."

Aki couldn't help but laugh at Enzo's statement. "I've never once thought about sacrificing a kit besides just now as a joke." She thought for a moment. "You know, it's been quite a while since I've seen a kit myself. Besides you Ratri" She smiled down at the young male she had picked on. "Being the carer of my tribe I used to be with them all the time. But then they grew up and I wondered off..." For some odd reason Aki began to miss her tribe as soon as she spoke of them. She looked up at the night sky and wondered how they were doing. She missed a lot of modi's from her past. But this was the present. No time to dwell on old things.

"Where are we going, bro? Huh, huh, where are we going, bro! Tell me, tell me, tell me, come on, bro, tell meee!" a childish voice asked, but where did the voice come from? We zoom into the forest, by a river, not too far from the group of modifoxes, where two similar males were walking. One stopped, and the other was clearly the one loudly asking the annoying questions. "Where, bro, where, where? Where are we going, bro, where are we going? Huh, huh, huh?" the questions repeated again, and the blue fox started running around the other, red one. "Well? Bro, bro, bro, bro, bro! Where are we going? Tell meee! Teeell meee~! Teee~eeell meee~eee!" After, the fox became quiet, it looked around hyperactively and sniffed the air, looking back at the red fox and smiling cheerfuly once again, "Bro, bro! Foxes, foxes! I smeeell foxeees!" Then, the blue fox dissapeared into the bushes, jumping to the other side, now close enough to the foxes to be able to almost see them. The other fox stopped and twitched, then sat down and looked at the blue one. "No, Buchi, I won't. And that's because we're not going anywhere!" he suddenly yelled out, and the other fox quieted down. The fox then sighed and rolled his eyes, seemingly happy that he succeeded in calming the other fox. But once the other fox yelled out to announce of other foxes, he would find out that he didn't even remotely calm the fox down, the other just smelled other foxes. "Ugh..." he whispered, clearly annoyed, then stood up and slowly followed after the other into the bushes. "Buchi, no, bad idea..." Of course, the other didn't listen, so Uchii had no choice but to follow into the clearing. "Oh great, look, foxes! Ugh," the fox complained once again, for the, aproximately, tenth time this night.

Ratri gave a sigh of relief and smiled up at the adults. "You know...now that you mention it, I really haven't seen any kits besides my siblings and I..." he said. He was distracted from his momentary reverie by the sound of two more foxes coming through the bushes. How many foxes come out at night? he wondered, staring at the unusual pair.

Enzo's ear twitched as he heard the voices of two other foxes coming this way. "They don't seem hostile..." Enzo said before turning back to where we could smell the two foxes coming from through the bushes. They were both male, and seemed to be related somehow as they had similar scents.

Even though she agreed with Enzo in the fact that the two new coming foxes didn't sound or smell agressive, Aki couldn't help but stand in the way of young Ratri. Not that she thought anyone would want to harm the young kit but if anything happend it would be best for him to have some protection. Aki stood over the kit so that he could see what was going on but had some shelter. "Yeah they don't seem threating." Aki paused for a moment. "Boy, tonight sure is a lively night."
((And just to even out the boy/girl ratio and because I need to RP her...))
Yawning, Mitora stretched and scratched the tree limb she had been sleeping on. Looking up at the night sky between the leaves of the tree she could tell that she had slept in much to long. She was trying to decide if she should return to her tribe for the day or continue to fend for herself. She stretched again and nearly feel out of her tree when she heard voices and shouting. Strange. Those were not the voices of her tribe. Were there other nocturnal foxes in the area? Should she greet them?
Mitora climbed to the other side of her tree and stepped out on one of the branches to try and see if she could tell how many there were and where they were. As she oberved she pinpointed their location and figured there were about five or seven of them. Six maybe? What she couldn't figure out is why they were just standing around the lake in the dark. The tree she was hidden in was right on the edge of a clearing where there was much more light. Not wanting to give herself away just yet, Mitora sat down on her new branch and continued to observe the group.

Ratri peeked out from underneath Aki, glad that she cared about him enough to try and protect him if anything went wrong. "Are there usually this many foxes out at night?" he asked, flicking his ears in the direction of a tree branch being scratched and leaves rustling.

Aki was still looking in the direction of the two appouching males. "Sometimes." She said to answer Ratri's question. "There is a whole tribe of nocturnal foxes somewhere around here. But there are many other foxes who prefer the night as well."

Buchi took a very deep and happy breath, filling his lungs with air, then breathed out and hiperactively ran towards the other four, or five? Or three? Nor Buchi nor Uchii weren't sure now, but Buchi was sure about one thing... "FOXES!!! OTHER FOXES!!! OH-ME-GOSH-OH-ME-GOSH-OH-ME-GOSH-YAY!!!" the hiperactive male shouted, his speed at least doubling. He ran to the four foxes and started running around them, sniffing and hearing and watching and examining all at the same time. "Other-foxes-other-foxes-other-foxes!" he cheerfuly exclaimed, then stopped in front of Aki so close, his nose was touching hers. His face calmed down for a bit, as he seemingly examined the females face. After five seconds tough, a wide and stupid smile appeared on his muzzle. "Hi. I'm Buchi," he said cheerfuly but much more calmly then before, and this time, his voice wasn't blocked out by his hiperactivity. His voice was still soft-like, but it had maturity in it now. Altough his eyes were still sparkling with curiosity and happines.
Uchii sighed as his brother started quickly circling the other modi-foxes, then he slowly made his way to them, since none of them attacked the clumsy fellla yet, so one could freely think that they're not hostile. "Um, yeah, these are other foxes, Buchi," he said with a nice tone, as usual when talking to Buchi. He then looked at the other three foxes beside his brother. Almost all of them had light fur, so the two blue colored twins didn't really fit into the fur trends, as one could say, in this group. He tried smilling, not really succeeding but it wasn't a failure either. "Um, hi," he said, then noticed a small kit looking at him from beneath the white, rainbow spotted female. He glanced up at the adults once again, thinking that introducing himself would be a good, 'I hope...', tactic. "Well then, um, I'm Uchii, and this is my brother--" the male stopped, hearing that Buchi had just introduced himself, more mainly to the white rainbow spotted female. Buchi would always chose to interact with one of the foxes in a group at first, and he would usually consider them his friend if they anwsered with no anger or hostility. Uchii was never sure why it was like this, but it worked for Buchi, so what the heck.

Safiya jumped at the sudden rush of blue fur that circled them a few times before stopping mere centimeters from Aki and the kit she was protecting. She was so preoccupied with the blue ball of hyperness, she nearly missed the red and blue one that followed after. "Um, hi, Uchii, Buchi. I'm Safiya, it's nice to meet you?" She said, still slightly stunned by the sudden appearance of the two males.

Enzo examined the two new males closely. They were obviously related somehow, not just through the like-ness in their scents but Enzo could tell Uchii had the tolerance for Buchi's activeness only a family member could have. "I'm Enzo," he greeted with a nod.

Peeking out from beneath Aki, Ratri looked curiously at the two new males, amazed that anything could ever be as hyperactive as this new blue male. He also wondered how the other red, white, and blue modi could stand him for long periods of time. Ratri could tell they traveled together by the similar scents of forest on their coats. "My name's Ratri" he said, just loud enough for both to hear.
