Abel laughed a little nervously and slowly shook his head.
"No... No, they don't hurt," he replied slowly and sighed. He'd been losing control of late, and temptation was becoming more and more difficult to ignore. But he still managed to smother it down. He'd learned to do that long ago, and that was something he'd sooner die than forget how to do.

She edged closer and smirked licking her lips, if it was not pain she caused, then what other sensitive reaction happened to his wings. Her tail flipped side to side slowly causing her damp dress to swish against the earth.
"Oh? Well if they don't 'urt then whot seems to be the problem?" She grinned "Usually licks feel so...soothing." Her tongue darted over her fangs again as her dark eyes gazed into his.

Abel closed his eyes and shook his head, gritting his teeth a little at her questioning. The usually jovial otter was very different in this meeting, and it was made even more clear when he opened his eyes and they were both red.
"I could taste it, the potential in you to do great evil. But it's faint. Enough to ignore, but still there. A taste caught in my mouth, seared into my memory," he replied, his wings shifting restlessly against his back.

She peered closer into his red eyes and a slight grin twisted across her muzzle. "Well now would you look a' that, firey instead of half iced." She lifted her claws and waved them.
"I do whot I 'ave too love, theres no evil in making my meals. I 'ope there is a paradise for them after I'm done with 'em" She sighed and leaned back glancing over his wings again.
She slowly looked back into his eyes and smirked "'Ow did I taste?"

Abel's mouth tightened a bit more as she smirked at him and he swallowed, hard.
"Just sweet enough to get my attention," he replied and watched her carefully. He would protect them, shepherd them to the light. And, when he had to, protect the others by removing those that threatened them. He blinked at her and tilted his head a bit.
"Just what, exactly, do you eat?"

Lovett smirked softly her eyes gleaming as she wondered just how He would taste, sweet? Sinful? Of course. His question made her laugh, she circled him before stopping and standing before him with a grin that exposed her razor sharp fangs. She flexed her claws infront of him and smiled her voice softer now.
"Your a smart cookie, whot do you think?" She looked at him intently.

Abel's eyes narrowed as he watched her circle him and he frowned when she didn't answer his question.
"I know other demons, Miss, and they eat fish and crustaceans, just like normal otters," he said and paused, his brows furrowing a bit.
"But I take it that's not in your diet."

She leaned back and licked her lips "Oh no, not me...I like my fare a bit fuller."
She grinned and leaned closer to him before whispering in his ear. "I eat pies I do..." Her eyes flashed and she let out a breathy laugh. She liked the interesting male, and she liked his taste, but she wasn't about to admit to him that she killed small otters and made them into clam pies. She liked him too much to ruin things like that, if he became upset she would have to silence him, and she much prefered him alive and talkative.

Abel flinched when she brought her mouth so close to his ear. Pies... that was interesting... She was so close. He couldn't help himself.
He turned his head and ducked a bit so that he could lightly lick the side of her neck.
As soon as he did so, however, he jerked back and lowered his head, pressing the back of one paw just above his eyes.

Lovett gave a soft smile at the lick before watching him and he pressed his paw to his forehead. "Am I so dizzying love?" She giggled and sighed leaning back.
"I s'ppose since you saved my life and all I should know your name?" She looked at him curiously.

"Dizzying..." Abel replied and turned his head to look at her, his eyes back to normal, "Is not really the word I would use."
His voice was softer now, the tone not as deep. He had managed to crush the temptation once again and that gave him leave to smile, if only just a little bit. Paw still on his forehead, he bowed a bit to her.
"I'm Father Abel Nightroad. And you are...?"

"You can call me Mrs. Lovett, love for short." She grinned and slipped closer again. "What word would you use then?" Her voice was saturated in curiosity.
She watched his smile blossom and smirked softly to herself curious as to what caused the pleasant reaction.

Abel let his paw drop from his forehead and nodded again.
"I think I'll stick with Mrs. Lovett," he replied and cleared his throat a bit. He glanced away, thinking for a moment and sighed, shrugging.
"Since it appears that I'm being quite honest this evening... Painful. Do you know the feeling of wanting to do something, but refusing to let yourself do it? That kind of pain," he explained, tilted his head a little and shrugged again.

She smirked and considered giving him her first name, but that would be foolish lest he find out what went into her special pies. She leaned close and gave a soft nod her eyes dark.
"Oh yes, wanting so badly to act, but 'olding yourself back...sometimes it's for the best though love, no matter that it 'urts." Her eyes gleamed slightly, she wouldn't hurt him...physically.

"Wait... Mrs. Lovett? Is there a Mr. Lovett, then?" he asked, wondering if that were truly the case, then were was the male.
