The brothers once again looked at each other before Nikolas turned and headed back the way they had come. He didn't even look toward the stallion whom was scared and saddened that his daughter wanted to leave him. He wasn't sure how this had all came about, though he was glad to be away from the area. Turning his gaze away from the stallion he looked forward, toward the darkness. Kristopher shook his head about all this, lowering his head he nudged Ijn a little before he started following his brother. A sort of apologetic look on his face before his pace picked up so fall instep behind his brother.
"It seems that the stallion was upset." He muttered looking at Ijn. "I do hope that things will be alright..." At this he looked back to where they had been.
"Everything will be fine. If he is as strong as he thinks he is, then he will get over it." Nikolas stated as he slowed to walk beside his brother. "Tonight we return to where we stayed the night. Tomorrow night, the teaching begins." He noted looking at Ijn, feeling that she would want to rest tonight.

Ijn followed after them closely keeping her gaze straight ahead to avoid meeting her father's eyes. Perhaps one day she would return. Perhaps. "He was..." She answered. She could hear the pain in her dad's voice as well as anyone else. It didn't change things and if it did it only made them worse.
"He's right..." She said in agreement with Nikolas. "He has mom, Tamara and Jasper still." Her eyes slowly lowered to look at the ground as she continued to think. What would her mother do? Her brother and sister? She would come visit them definitely. Later, much later. Lifting her head she smiled. They were going somewhere to rest. Wonderful. She was feeling very tired and it showed. When she opened her mouth to speak she yawned.
The day had been very busy and from the sound of it the next day would be as well.

Kristopher looked at Ijn as they walked, it was a pretty far walk back to the large clearing that they had met within. Over head the skies were already dark and the starts were half shrouded within the darkness of what could have been an oncoming storm. Nikolas looked back toward Ijn, a smile came to him. A new fledgling, this was going to feel like old times, already the darkness within his heart was rekindling. OH he was going to be enjoying this, now if only there were others as well... Maybe someday there would be.
Kristopher lowered his head and nuzzled again Ijn, to make sure that she didn't fall asleep before they reached the clearing that loomed a head of them. Looking forward he looked toward the trees where he and his brother had rested the day before, now that space would be shared with yet another. One that he would care for like his own while he and his brother taught her their ways of the world.
"Bed looms a head, We'll rest." Kristopher nodded even if he would tend to keeping Ijn's mortal soul used to both day and night living.
"Then things will be different." Nikolas grinned as his cold dark eyes watched Ijn as she yawned. "For soon you won't yawn when the sun falls, but rise with the moon and sleep while the sun hangs bright over head"
Reaching clearing, Kristopher walked over to the tree he had rested under the day before and laid himself down. While Nikolas walked around the tree once before wandering off a bit to get something to eat. He hadn't had anything to feast on yet and his stomach was kicking him for it...

She smiled up at Kristopher as he nudged her. She could understand what he was doing and she was glad for it. She was about ready to fall asleep right there. She tossed her head a bit to wake herself at least a bit and continued to follow them listening as they spoke.
She blinked at Nikolas. She was going to sleep through they day? That did not make much sense to her but she imagined it was something she would need to do.
As the clearing came into view she recognized it. Tonight it was her temporary home. Perhaps the next night they would still be there or perhaps they would move. It was up to them really. She would follow where they went because that would be where it was safe.
Yawning she lay down into the grass ready for sleep. As she lowered her head she felt something soft under her. She looked down to see her ribbon. She must have dropped it again. She shook her head and rested it on the ground once again. It was a nice memento to have as she started her new life whatever that may be. It would, however, remain only a memento. She would never really be the girl that had owned it. Not ever again.
"Good night..."She said with a smile closing her eyes to go sleep.
