that was just well... kinda lame, I mean it started good but I think it kinda went downhill. At the end of the stolen earth, the doctor and rose had a big moment (untill he got shot) but I dont really think they handled Rose to well in this episode, she was just kinda there and I was dissapointed that jack and rose didnt get a moment. it was just to cluttered, I don't really think they had enough time for every one, and rose may have got a doctor but it wasnt really her doctor, and I dont really think either of them got what they wanted, and taking her back to bad wolf bay sort of reuined doomsdays ending for me . I have more I could say but I will leave it at that
but german daleks? FTW!

I don't know, I hate to complain, but after last week's build-up, this one felt like a bit of a let down. It was far too easy and it required very little sacrifice (except Donna, but I'll get to that). It just wasn't as suspenseful and I couldn't get too interested.
I did enjoy the two Doctors (I love the second one's reaction to being part human), but Donna using the Doctor's mannerisms definitely didn't do it for me and just made me cringe.
I was disappointed that Rose didn't do anything, but stand there and demand answers from the Doctor. :[ She went through all that work and didn't really help out at all. Rose getting her own more human Doctor was nice because it would get rid of the whole aging problem and at least she can finally be somewhat happy (she'll get over it).
It was a bit depressing that Donna had to forget everything and return to her life without any memories at all, but I can't say it upset me that much.
Overall: it was pretty good for an episode, but I was hoping for a lot more because of Stolen Earth. I was expecting more of a struggle (five second Doctor recovery, defeat of the Daleks and Davros, towing the Earth with the TARDIS).

hmm Maybe thats whats been bugging me the fact that it was all just,too easy. Donna spews a bit of techno babble and everythigns all fixed. sad
But I for one loved the doctor with Donna's mannerisms and Donna with the doctors. It made me happy.
Also the line she has about being half human making her more clver bothers me cause isn't the other doctor part human that line confused me.

Chocolate Cocaine I was disappointed that Rose didn't do anything, but stand there and demand answers from the Doctor. :[ She went through all that work and didn't really help out at all. I think thats what bothered me the most about Rose, she came back but all she really did was stand around

Also the line she has about being half human making her more clver bothers me cause isn't the other doctor part human that line confused me. yea i got that. but suddenly having 3 Doctors ish, and they jst pushed a few buttons that jst so happened to be in the vault with them...manged to disable the Daleks and push them around...after the fear they had shown in The Stolen Earth, they suddenly changed into kids with giant tin pots.... the episode was too cluttered wit too many companions, Jackie didnt really need to be there in the first place, and no one was given the chance to actually catch up, like Rose and Jack, she watched him 'die' and then shes gone back to the parallel world again...and the fact she didnt actually do anything!!! after doing so much jst to get back to him, she doesnt do anything there, its all Martha Jack and Sarah-Jane. there is no big reunion in the end, no time for them to jst be with each other before he shoves her back into the parallel world!! but the humanDoctor was good...10Rose are sort of together, but that must have been so hard for him to watch as his human self told her he loved her and then kissed her! but the theory that Micky and Martha are gonna be in Torchwood....am i the only one who isnt thrilled by that? Mickey jst moved from one parallel world to the other and stays in the one where there isnt Rose and where he can 'prove himself', not really complaining, its jst a tad ridiculous. and Martha...well i jst dont like her tbh, so Torchwood has gone downhill for me already..thou the Doctor and Rose seeing Gwen, and Gweneth, that was cool!!! and like 'finally!!' razz Sarah-Jane was jst brilliant, and this time she had a life to run back to instead of waiting for the Doctor to leave without her, but she had to be there with Davros, and it was appropriate that he remembered her! Donna...that was an upsetting end to her because it was so lame!! after everything she went through, the person she became, and he turns herback into the selfish narrow minded irritating woman of The Runaway Bride!! that wasnt a death that was a massacure of Donna, she deserved to die being part Time Lord, at least she would have died happy being with the Doctor and remembering everything they had done together.

Laylora_Paradise but the Cybermen for christmas??? this is getting ridiculous, and the Daleks when DoctorDonna was in control..they completely lost the scare factor that they ever had, i mean they were pushing the Daleks around like a tin box, Have you never seen any of the old Dalek stories? I was laughing my head off, because that was how they always used to get rid of them in the old days.

Patent Dragon Penny-Anna ...I liked the stuff in Germany. What's there not to like about "Deutsche Daleken"? Penny-Anna EDIT: I just remembered something else! Gwen is descended from Gwyneth. It is now official. : D Yeah, that was a nice one - and yay for the genius of Tosh! Shame about Donna, but she will be remembered. I hope nobody minds me saying that German is a good language for shouting in, and that's just about all the Daleks do, soo... yeah. I do also think it's very good for opera, having seem some German opera. /random And it's always nice when something you've believed for ages is confirmed. : D Now they just have to make Gwen psychic and I'll die happy.

I cant wait for the movies! They're making three movies I think. Only b/c David is doing the Hamlet tour. So I wonder whats gonna happen? Its gonna be great but the three movies if its tree are not going to hold me over! I need Doctor Who!

I don't think I've smiled so much during a Doctor Who epiode in my life. I had to force myself to stop smiling because my face hurt so much!
All those nods to the old (and even classic) seasons (thanks Dad!), Daleks finally being shown with more of a vunerablity than just a supercharged bat to the eyestalk, K-9 getting a hurrah in (I'm SO building one!), GERMAN DALEKS!!!!!
My head's still spinning. I don't know what to think about the Rose thing. I mean, the Doctor got to be with her, but he didn't and and and I was smiling but feeling guilty about it because he was sad but he wasn't and and and and and and and and and...*whacks self*
Sorry, I guess this post needs a Thelman Lux Coherency Warning, eh?
I have to stop trying to think so soon after seeing an episode...Its gonna break my brain...

My skills with photoshop are nill, but I think this guild needs a Dalek photoshopped to have like schnitzel and a gestapo hat or something, for our new German Dalek overlords. heart

Saphira_lights =) I hope he gets an alien next. A nice alien buddy. I'm sick of humans now. And Cybermen. And Daleks. Are they really dead this time or just fake dead like they've been for the past what...four seasons? )= *is going to get stabbed* I didn't like it too much~ Not sure why. It was just sorta 'meh'.
Alien buddy would be great =D
I think the Doctor still needs to keep in contact with Earth, but if he can get at least 1 alien buddy travelling with him, that'd be great =D
Maybe the alien buddy could be male? I am FED UP with Cybermen and Daleks now xD; I think they've pushed them to their limits - when I saw the Christmas episode I was rather disappointed. I LOVED the ending - I think Russel did it well, but I beg - no more Cybermen or Daleks, they're not even scary now, and wayyyy overused. The surprised face of the Doctor must really strain his face.
Germen daleks made me totally laugh xD That was a fantastic idea!!
And I cried 'YAY! K9!' when he appeared on the show - I mean, K9 had to appear xD

Maybe the Cybermen in the Christmas special is a good thing. Maybe they'll finally tie up the Cybermen storyline like they did with the Daleks so that there's a reasonable chance we won't have to see them again, or at least for a long while.
