"...You're talking about a break-up?!" Damaris demanded losing all sympathy for him. He was all depressed and gloomy over a break-up?! And she was sitting here always trying to put on a cheerful face even though she was pregnant. She couldn't believe this guy, though a lot of it was her emotions taking control.

Chath nodded his head wondering what Damaris had been thinking. "Yeah...he broke up with me. I think I let my anger get in the way..." He trailed off noticing she looked a bit uptight. He wondered what was wrong..
"um...are you okay?" he inquired wondering if he managed to upset her somehow.

"Is that the reason you haven't gone to classes? And haven't been around people? That's your reason?" She asked finding that excuse utterly stupid. She couldn't imagine why on earth he would get so isolated all because he had a break up!

Chath thought on it. No he had isolated himself from people since the event of losing his arm. But...having Ligeia break up with him didn't help matters.
"No....I've been ...busy. Keir keeps me busy...I train almost everyday from the time I get up, till when I collasp into bed. I want to get stronger so I can protect people. I couldn't help anyone last time.."
He raised a webbed hand to feel over the bandaged stump of his arm. It was growing...if slowly...and it hurt a lot. Thank goodness his pain threshold was high. He was getting the sense that Damaris was mad at him. He wasn't sure why.... He was being honest with her.

Damaris frowned more, at least he wasn't being all isolated because he had a brake up. That much seemed to put the girl a little more at ease, "Don't worry about training so much, if you don't go out and meet any friends you wont have anyone to protect." She explained to him.
"I should introduce you to some of my friends some time." She said with a nod. Chath seemed far too mopey and isolated for any kids own good.

Chath opened his mouth and closed it again, she had a point. He wondered idly is Keir would allow a break in his training. Well then he decided he would have to have a talk with the black. He needed a break from it all.
"I would like that. It seems a lot of my old friends...have drifted off...i haven't talked to a large amount of them for some time."

"When you get home you should call some of them, they probably drifted off because you're so preoccupied trying to get better to protect them they think you don't care anymore." She said then gasped a bit, "Home! I am gonna be late, I'm sorry but I have to go now." Damaris said jumping to her feet and heading over to Red to get his lazy butt moving.
"Sorry, I'll see you again some time though!" She said as she started packing things up. If she wasn't home before her dad he would get all upset and she didn't feel like getting one of his lectures today.

Chath got up and nodded his head, it was probably best that he go as well. As of late he hadn't been telling his mother were he wandered off to.
"Uh...yeah I would like that. A lot." he said with a smile. Hopinghe would get to see her again. She was...a bit strange but nice. He could see hanging out with her again. Hopefully the blue dragon wouldn't recal how much of a jerk Keir was too him.
GIving a wave he turned back towards the river. "See you later!" He called out as he waded his way back into the river.
