A Dark Lovely Red Rose~

In A Garden, In The Light.
Lives A Wonder, A Beautiful Sight.
Lives A Flower, Distinguished As Night.
Lives The Dark Wonders Of A Lovely, Dark Red Rose.
A Lovely Fragrance, A Beautiful View.
All Covered In Thorns To Keep From Being Torn Away.
So Leave It Be For Now And Then.
For Love Blooms Within Its Delicate Petals.

Music pulses through my veins
from the cars and through the drains
surrounding man and earth around us

I thought it was a magic thing

tore it off the dying fowl
by a man who wears a scowl
teeming with disease and dirt
I cant help but think how much it hurt
to die and have your feathers plucked
dignity gone and life from sucked.

An invisible friend or equal foe,
caressing my body from head to toe,
gentle and eager grace,
pushing leaves place to place,
upon adventorous hands,
An invisible friend known to man.

Where the ravenous raven may soar,
With bitterness toward the wind it explores,
Though it not bother me,
My blood shot eyes can see,
The wind and all its complications.

The Queen of Hearts ~

The Queen of Hearts
And the King of Spades
Had an affair
And a baby was made.

Out popped Jack
Who looked nothing like his father
Yet the poor old King
Wasn’t any smarter.

He raised that boy
As if he were his own
The happy little child
Seemed to brighten up their home.

And so things went
For a good long time
Till the Queen fell ill
With remorse for her crime.

With a dieing breath
She admitted her disloyalty
As it turns out
The boy wasn’t royalty.

His Queen was gone
And the boy taken away
The King sat alone
Dieing the next day.

So what of this tale
Of betrayal and dismay?
All there is to say
Is that cheating never pays.

A Fairy Tale, Is A Fairy tale.
An Old Folk Story Always Told.
Like Cinderella And Sleeping Beauty.
Or Jack And The Beanstalk And Snow White.
But We Enjoy These Tales.
Because Of Such Enchanting Things,
No Matter How Childish They Seem.
It Just Shall Always Be Enchanting.
Because Were Still Quite Immature.
Because An Old Fairy Tale, Reminds Us Often.
That We'll Still Be Young Children Or Stubborn Grown Ups.

An abandoned kitten sits in the snow
It does not feel sadness; it just doesn't know.
That it wont be returned to the life that it knew
snow falls down on its little head
wishing that it had a simple bed
knowing that soon, it will be dead.
It doesn't feel blue
or a great need to 'shoo'
it just feels an aching instead.
