Proudly_Jewish spanishnerd99 Yes, no one can help me. It is quite sad. One time, after me and my fave spanish teacher had talked about studying abroad/being an exchange student, I told my mom. And I jokingly said, "Maybe Mrs. Germann (the spanish teacher) will pay for it." And my mom replied by, "Maybe Mrs. Germann will pay for my mental therapy too." Of course she was joking. But it really pisses me off. That really does suck. What I recommend doing (it probably won't work, but it's worth trying) is writing your mum a good, persuasive essay about why you're mature, using specific examples of things you've actually done/said. It might sound stupid, but that's what my older sister did when she wanted her allowance doubled, and it worked! eek That's funny you mention an essay...I've been working on one...as well as a spanish club essay.

Proudly_Jewish spanishnerd99 That's funny you mention an essay...I've been working on one...as well as a spanish club essay. An essay to your mum? or just for school? just an essay for the heck of it...to express myself. The spanish club one was as if I was going ot give it to the school, but I decided not to, however it's still saved I think. (PS, my school had spanish club, untill the year I could participate)
