I do not feel like i need to dress a certainway because of being pagan, but I do feel that some of my style is out of the ordinary. I dress like this because i feel comfortable, and I know it's who i really am

I usually wear jeans and a band tee shirt with some cute slip-ons. So my faith has nothing to do with my fashion. It seems kinda silly to me, to feel the need to dress differently because of a religion. I wish I had a nice pentagram to wear, though...

Labores Luna Korealia, you quoted the OP as myself, just to let you know sweatdrop Fixed. AND JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT (everyone in general): Whether or not we SAY that our 'faith' doesn't effect our mode of dress, if you really look at it, it does. We wear pentacles. In circle, there are a lot of people who change into robes. Some of those that fall under the radical/political wiccan category don't wear leather, or they don't wear unnatural products because of who they are. Perhaps it is not day-to-day dress we change, but it does most certainly effect us. We are a sub-culture, a counter-culture movement (and no offense meant to anyone, it's how we're labelled in the field of sociology and psychology) which tries to implement our faith into our day-to-day lives through what we wear, what we do, and how we practice our faith. Some people are extremist because they feel the need to stand out and be different. Others are enamoured by the glamourization of the faith. Some are both (I ran across a magazine called The New Witch and felt faint). But it is neither here nor there. Some 'cowboys' have never herded cows in their lives. But they are inspired by the Old West, the rugged living, and the idea of the stereotypes. They're not the only ones. So ultimately, I'd have to say 'yes'. But people should be defined by their actions, their integrity, and their honor. Not the color of their eyeshadow or whether or not they've got a closet full of broomstick skirts. *shrug*

Yes, I do dress differently than before. Most of the time I have my amulet around my neck. I have long hair but not really dark. I like wearing dark colors but also go by what colors and stones should be worn on that day. Since each day has its own color and stone in the witches almanac, I also go by that for clothing and jewelry. I make quite a bit of my own jewelry to wear out of seed beads and gemstones.

I like Gothic clothes but I dress pretty normally. I wear I believe...a Mars-affiliated ring (will take a picture if needed be or for interpretation) and a hematite ring as well.
I wish I could find more pendants and chokers though...I barely have those.
My hair still isn't touching my shoulders and I'm trying to keep it blue-black. Doesn't mean I'm trying for a genre, I just don't dye my hair blue-black often...mostly this is the first time I've done this color.

No. I just wear normal clothes. my style is kinda preppy and neat, with something random (like tweety bird toe socks!!!) thrown in just for kicks.

nope, wicca has absolutely nothing to do with the way I dress. I like to dress in things that are super-stylish and very girly, fun, and with tight jeans...XD I get most of my stuff from Dillards or Aeropostale or Kohls, and I love love LOVE Dior for makeup. or anything from Sephora. heart My hair is light brown, and I usually wear it with big curls in it. But I can't be bothered with a curling iron. I sleep with it in a bun so when I take it out it is curly. I never dye it; but sometimes I will put some chamomile tea in it before I go and do stuff outside, and that helps naturally lighten it without drying it out. My jewelry consists of: a watch that I almost never take it off (if I did, I would be completely lost, lol) and a few hair ties. Sometimes I will wear a really pretty neclace from maurices or my nice vintage one that has all these charms on it and stuff. Well, that's all I have to say on this subject. Goodbye! ^_^

Wicca does not affect my dress style, although people call me a "witch" with my black clothes and whatnot. But still, they are totally stereo-typical. My dressing style is attracted to the trees and earthy things. I mean, my brother is a skateboarder and all, and there is a skate company called Element. I got totally into that brand sort of because of my faith in Wicca. Other than that, Wicca does not have any say in my clothes that I wear.

Well, not really. I love the witchy clothes I wear already. I like long, flowy skirts and shirts, even though my typical wear is an activist shirt of some sort and jeans. The only jewelry I can safely get away with wearing is a sterling silver ankh, since my mother doesn't approve of my choice to be wiccan.
That said, I do have to admit that my sensitivity to the earth element makes me attracted to certain fabrics, colors, and styles. I've been accumulating green and brown things for a while now. Lots of organic cotton.
Edit: Also, I have been trying to grow my hair out a bit, since I can't do anything with it while it's short, plus I like the way it looks, now, all wavy and curly.

This is for long forgotten
"Harry Potter type magic." Hmph. stare
Anyway, nothing has an effect on what I wear but myself. I don't follow trends, I don't try to stand out. I wear what I like.

well i am a "goth" but that came before wicca , i usually just wear things that intrest me
yeah i derss like a wiccan sometimes but for the most part i look like a teen/adult
i would love to wear flowy tops and pretty things but i am much more happy being comfortable
i dyed my hair blue black on a whim
and i wear a white and black collar because it makes me happy
i paint my nails black because i like the color and my mom never let me
i dont do things because i am wiccan , it just happens to be my natural way of being ^^
ive always been a little strange , but then again ive always felt a little out of place in this time. i'm much more suited for the realms of fantasy anyways

Definitely not . Not 98% of the time anyway (the other 2% is in the circle , which I don't think really counts as part of this discussion since it seems to be more about our day to day life). I love a particular Japanese fashion and its has nothing to do with wicca or vice versa. So yeah I wear black a lot , but it really has nothing to do with it.

Wicca doesn't really effect how I dress out in the world. I just go with what looks good on me, and what's comfortable.
I do like the more punky styles, but I liked that kinda stuff before I was ever Wiccan. Really the only thing my religion effects in terms of outfits is how often I wear my pentacle.
Now, if it were a topic on being more eco-friendly, then yeah I'd say Wicca has made me more aware of that. But the only that effects how I dress is now I buy more WWF shirts. 3nodding Which I highly suggest people buy cause the funds go to helping animals. heart
