Alec blinked slightly,
"Its hair..?" He stated, not entirely sure if that was what the greature had been asking about,
"Like this.." he reached out and tapped the top of the others head,
"Well, sort of like it anyway.."

"Hair? Pretty." Ignis warbled happily, treading water gently to keep his head above the water.
Jonik was highly confused by the creature. It wasn't exactly the most beautiful thing he;d ever seen far from it. But it didn't look too harmful. However, Alec was becoming attached to it, and that didn't look good.

Alec seemed slightly amused by the strange little creature, it seemed rather child like as far as he could tell, Jonik was definitely less sure of it, but it wasn't trying to drown or strange him yet, and that had happened in the past, so he knew how to look for the signs honestly...
"Who are you..?" He asked, before pointing to himself,"
"I'm Alec, and.." he pointed to the smaller pirate,
"He's Jonik,"

Jonik gave his crewmate an exasperated look before turning to nod hello to the creature. Ready to run for his life again if anything happened. Alec could fend for himself this time, and if he got eaten or given malaria or something, then he wouldn't have to go into his cabin avery night to put him the recovery position...
Ignis gave the pirates a confused smile and pointed at himself "Ignis" came his reply, since he assumed they wanted to know his name.
