I recall something about a school nickname being Sigma Theta? Not being at all knowledgeable about the classic series, I'm not really sure.
But, I'm going the Bugs Bunny naming route... "I will love him and hug him and pet him and squeeze him and I will pet him and pet him and I will take him home and call him George." eek rofl

To clarify for all you young kiddies out there: In one of the Key to Time episodes (with Tom Baker), a Time Lord Academy dropout named Drax calls him "Theta Sigma," which was his designation in school, but not his "real" name. I have always suspected that when a Time Lord does something so naughty as to cause the High Council to brand him/her a renegade and kick him/her off Gallifrey, they actually "revoke" his/her Time Lord name, and he/she has to pick something else to go by (ie, the Doctor, the Master, the Rani . . .). Of course, since the High Council are now slag, we may never know.
