Ah ha! Jackpot. Lux had found a volume dedicated entirely to lycanthropy. It never gave any hard-core details about the werewolf, just general knowledge, but it would help with the essay she had to write if she ever wanted to become an apprentice when she graduated. And a few years after that ... a doctor of lycanthropy. I'm going to have to get a letter from a professor when I need those volumes from the restricted section. Lux took the book and weaved her way back through the aisles. It wasn't long before she found an empty table. She sat down and hauled her ink, quill, and parchment out of her bag and laid them on the table. She took a quick glance around her before opening the book. There was a bookshelf to her left. To her right was another table where a sandy-haired boy was quietly talking to a black-haired boy who had his head on the table and a blonde girl who was seemingly ignoring them both. Lux giggled a little, then opened her book and began to take notes and draw diagrams.

Remus twisted his lip, but didn't say what he was thinking. Insntead he patted Sirius's back. "Okay, mate. Lemme know if it's share time." He then looked around and, noticing the cover of a nearby fellow student's book, flinched severely. There was a great honking full moon, darkening the silhouette of a wolf howling to the moon. He'd read that book before. It wasn't pretty.

Sirius groaned. "I suppose I do owe you one from last night, don't I," he mumbled, his nose rubbing against the tabletop. "Ran into Angela - my ex from last year. Tried snogging me. I suppose my devilishly good looks will be the death of me someday."

Wendy, who'd gotten up to scan the DADA shelves again after having been asked to leave, cast a glance over at the table to see if the two boys were done discussing whatever it was they were discussing. She noticed that Sirius didn't look too good. I do hope everything's all right... she thought a tad anxiously.

Lux was entranced. She was wrong about this book being just general knowlegde. Her quill had stopped moving a while ago and now laid forgotten on the table. Oh my god! She pulled the book closer to her face. There, on the paper in front of her, were drawings of a werewolf's transformation from man to beast. There's so much detail. I can see the pain on the man's face. Lux ran a finger across one of the pictures. "Wow" she whispered.

Remus fought a groan. "Oh man, Angela? That absolute fox from Ravenclaw? You poor bugger." He shook his head and patted Sirius's back comfortingly. "Want me to hex her for you? I could enlarge her bosoms until she can't walk, if you'd like."

Feeling a bit like she was eavesdropping (even though she couldn't hear a word that either of the boys was saying) Wendy turned her gaze over to the girl sitting at the table next to them. She appeared to be deeply engrossed in the book she was reading. Wendy squinted so she could see the title and saw that it was something to do with lycanthropy. An interesting subject, but not one Wendy was totally fascinated with, on the whole. She just found the whole thing sad; a terrible fate that was thrust upon innocent people at random. She glanced away.

Lux put the book on the table and closed her eyes. I never imagined how painful it must be for those who were bitten. Back at home, her parents didn't think much on her career choice. They never encouraged it but they never discouraged it either. All their time and attention went to Sebastian, the heir. Which ment that they never bought her books on werewolves. Lux gathered up her things and put them back into her bag. She then picked up the book and notes. I'll go back to the dorm to finish this. She began to make her way to the check-out desk when she tripped over something on the floor and fell flat on her face. The book and her notes falling in a heap in front of her.

Hearing a clutter, Wendy turned to see that the girl who had been reading the lycanthropy book had fallen. Wendy rushed over to her and began helping her gather her things. "You okay?" she asked with concern.

Remus tilted his head curiously as he watched Wendy run over to the other girl's aid. "Well...what about a moderately good-looking Hufflepuff?" he asked in a voice that could have either been all-knowing or just smart-arsey. Sirius could choose to hear what he wanted.

Pushing herself to her knees, Lux replied, "I just bumped my head. Nothing serious. I think I tripped over something." She looked behind her and sure enough someone had their bag left in the middle of the floor. "Thank you for helping me pick this up.", she said to the girl, "I'm Lu....."
"Luxury." Sebastian had just rounded the corner when he seen his sister fall. "Are you ok?" He asked as he took hold of her arm and pulled her to her feet. Without waiting for her to reply he said "You should be more careful otherwise you might end up seriously hurt." Sebastian turned his eyes on the girl that was standing next to Lux.
"Who are you?" he asked with a slight glare.
"Sebastian don't be so rude."

Wendy's old shyness started kicking in, and it had nothing to do with how good-looking the boy standing before her was (although he was, she had to admit, extremely good-looking.) No, this time it was the crest on his robes.
"I'm Wendy R-Rivers," she mumbled, casting her eyes to the ground and not rising from her position on the floor.
