Colche has some things

It was strange, posessing thing, especially to her, she had never owned anything in her entire life. Greer had given her the pretty butterfly box, filled with the beautiful little multi coloured insects. It sat upright on ehr dresser and she could see it quite clearly lying on her bed. She liked to wake up and gaze at the pretty wings for a long moment, imagining that they would come to life and do that, fluttering thing, they were so nice when they flutterd. She wished they would flutter but no amount of wishing nor willing had braught them back to life.

Herr gentle, innocent blue eyes then drifted to the shell she had aquired while out with Amaya, the soft pinkish shell all swirly and pretty, who knew how something like that was made, it didn't matter it was hers.

Finally her eyes met the peice of fluttering paper, she had yet to find out what it was for, but it was definately hers. Having things was strange, but it felt good to have these things, maybe she could collect more pretty things and they would be hers too? She hoped so, she liked things, it was a nice feeling, very nice indeed.

A New Posession

It had been a strange outing for Colche and the number one strangest thing was the ball of fluff she held in her arms. She closed the door. Strangely she hadgotten used to this idea, when the door was closed she was safe from all outsiders. It was a shame she hadn't yet figured out the lock system. The rabbit was placed gently upon her bed while she deposited the Bowl of greens she had gotten from the lady at the cafeteria was placed by her dresser "Number seventeen bunny" She turned and sat upon her bed petting the still rather frightened rabbit for a few minuites before she lifted it again and placed it on the floor by it's bowl of greens "colche bunny" she smiles happily wandering overto her bed she lays upon it watching the rabbit take it's first few tentative steps in this new surrounding. A big yawn escapes her as she curls up. She had gained a new posession today she seemed to be ammassig quite a few nice things.

The Run

She awoke with an urge. Her toes tickled and itched as she lay amongst the covers rolling out of them with her customary floor flop she sits for a few moments staring at the ceiling. Huge blue eyes darted about looking for what she wished to do. The sun hadn’t risen yet, but the whisper of the morning birds cried through her window. The Customary sound, like laughter, from one of the many bird inhabitants of the island, woke her dazed mind and gave her an idea. A nod, an affirmative to no one but herself made her check that bunny was still in her room. The little rabbit was fast asleep and satisfied with that she stood and headed for the door. Her footsteps were silent, she almost stalked from the room those huge cold, glassy blue eyes set on something. The door opened on to the fresh cool morning air and she took her first breath of the day. Once upon a time the first breath never happened, she just breathed al the time concentrating on it at times to keep her alive, hoping the light wouldn’t come. The first rays of the dawn turned the surrounding jungle to a deep glowing red, she smiled and stepped from the porch the door closing behind her.

Her lips were dry as she closed her eyes, letting the morning wash over her naked body. The scars had already started to fade with her first transformation, the whorls taking president over those healed lines. One more deep breath saw her moving, she shifted slowly, heading, not, for once, straight to the cafeteria and her morning meal but off towards the sunrise and the clear white sandy beaches, where her idea could be practiced.

The salty air touched her nostrils as she approached the belt of trees that hid the icy blue waters from onlookers. She licked her lips once again tasting the morning salt rolling from the seas waves. The tiny hairs on her arms prickled on end as a cold updraft ran past her, she reserved a shiver for later as she passed on to the cool white sands. The night had sucked all the heat from the sands but it would soon be scorching, the sun radiating from above. Somehow she knew this; somehow she knew she had to be out at this time of day. Her long black hair moved in a wave like motion flittering over her skin. Her eyes closed again and one more deep breath saw her running. Those huge, glassy, blue eyes, wide. She ran along the compacted sand. All she could see was the sand, watching it turn from red, to umber and slowly in to the yellow of sunrise. At last she came to a stop, stopping almost on a dime, she panted like a dog, her tongue lolling as she looked back along the beach. She had run almost a mile and a half from her starting point, though she little knew that. A light smile played on her lips as she looked above herself, the sands finally starting to become white and sparkling like a thousand diamonds were laid in to the sandy core. The tree that swept on to the beach became a resting place and she happily took it, curling up beneath the trees slowly lengthening shadow, her hair covering her like a great silken blanket. At last, she shivered, but it was only once, her body hot from the short, speedy run. Her cool orbs watched the sun for another moment as at last it made the world light. A little sigh escaped her then and she slowly, dozed off escaping in to the land of dreams from whence the idea had come.

Amaya woke up the next morning to feel a little bit better about what was actually happening on the island, though she still wasn't in her usual happy state of mind. After eating some eggs for breakfast (which was one of the few things besides salads she could find herself to eat), she started to head back to her duplex but stopped herself.

She had been alone in her room pondering and sulking long enough. Today she would do something with... someone... or something. Nodding to herself in confirmation she turned and headed back downstairs towards Colche's duplex. Amaya hadn't seen the girl around lately and last time she had a bunny or something... hopefully someone had taught her how to take care of it or her feline instincts hadn't kicked in and made her want to eat it yet.

Wincing at the thought, she gave a light knock on Colche's door once she got to it. "Colche~? You in there? It's Amaya."

Colche awoke witha start. Had she heard a knock or was it just her dream? Her dreams were sordid of late. her loneliness was getting to her to say the least, she had never felt lonely before, finding solitude better than what company braught. But the people on this island were always so, so nice, they helped her, see the light, so to speak so not seeing anyone had been a blow to her.

She licks her lips, casting away the dry crispy feeling that lay pon her lips, and then the nock sounded again and she pulled herself from her sleepy daze to look at the door, willing it to open "Awen" she mumbled at first sitting on her bed and brushing sleep from those huge deep blue doe eyes "Awen!" he voise sounded more lively now, and it was certainly an invitation. as she slipped from her sheets though,s he found it rather chilly, perhaps it was only her imagination but she pulled her blanket around ehr almost as if it were a sign of safety for herself. She snuggled happily in the blue blankie and wauited for awen to come. The shiver, seh rememeberd was left over from her dream and the cool wall that always haunted her.

Hearing Colche's voice inside, she invited herself in. The girl seemed to always have her door unlocked and absently she wondered if she knew how to open the door herself... well, she had gotten outside before so she must know somehow. Shaking those thoughts out of her mind she peeked her head in and waved her long, clawed fingers.

"Not Awen, Amaya! Good afternoon Colche." She gave a genuine smile and walked over to stand by the side of the bed, hopeing that for once Colche was dressed underneath the covers... though then again, she probably wasn't. Ugh. Thank god she was a girl.

"Has Colche been having a good time?" Amaya tried to word her sentences simply so she could understand them, though it did sound a bit funny to her own ears.

Colche smiled happily, though she looked a little ashamed that she had gotten the wrong person. She wasn't very good at that sort of thing. She did indeed know how to open the door but answerign and opening it to go out were two differnt things.

She cleared her throat "Colche kay" she states biting her tongue and looking overly thoughtful, her brow wrinkles a bit "Colche lone" a little pout comes to her lips but she quickly pushes this away, Aubrey was busy Amaya probably was too, everyone was too busy for her just lately "bunny good, food lots" she points to the corner of the room wheer the little rabbit lay napping not the remotest bit destrubed by an entrantin to Colche's atmosphere.

Her eyes glanced about then and perhaps for a moment she was searching for what she should say or do next. She wished she could describe her dream, but the words weren't there for her to ask the questions that buzzed in her mind. but aubrey promised her more words, she just had to wait.

"Lone? ... Oh, alone?" Amaya frowned, wishing she had checked up on the girl sooner. "I'm sorry Colche, I should came sooner." She forced and smiled then blinked and looked over to the corner at the bunny. Well... it was breathing and everything, that was good. "Food? Y'mean your feeding the bunny good?" It certainly seemed healthy. Her smile broadened. Colche wasn't stupid or dumb at all, just... unexperianced.

Looking around her room a little more, green eyes rested back on Colche. "Are you hungry at all? Or want to go to the beach?" Poor girl was probably lonely and bored out of her mind. Ugh, she should have come sooner.

Colche went back in to think mode again. Listening to people she learned words it was just so hard t put it in to context "Colche food full" her brow wrinkled again and she bit her tongue trying to search for what she would say next "Colche cold, no beach, cold" She shiverd again as if trying to emhpasize that she was chilly even thiough the blanket she had scrunched around ehr was perfectly thick and extremely comfortable, she still felt cold. Maybe she was still dreaming, or maybe the island was thwe dreaj and she really was still in the cold and the dark. The hairs on her neck stood on end and would have bristled had she gained the thick neck fur of the cheetah by this time, but she hadn't so she simply shiverd again.

Taking a deeop, slightly depressed sounding sigh she looked at Amaya and touched her head "bad" she stated tapping her head again, hoping maybe she could tell amaya about her dreams if only she could find the words to say it.

Well, she was full which was good. It seemed the girl knew how to make her way to the cafeteria by herself. "Cold? Well, that's not good." Amaya frowned and looked to the closet. Maybe there were some blankets in there...

But before she could walk over her attention zipped back to Colche. Bad...? Bad... Her brow furrowed and she thought for a moment. What could be bad involving her h-OH! A nightmare, maybe? She frowned and sat down on the edge of the bed, looking at Colche while pointing at her own head. "Bad dream? Scary nightmare?"
