Kitsune no Zetsumei Well, I don't think it'd hurt for the people in charge of Harry Potter to give Daniel some freaking eye contacts. Or make him colour his hair a bit darker. Wouldn't kill them, now would it? Also, to be honest, if you look at how much Daniel makes for each movie, they could certainly use a bit of extra money on some hair gel or something! It wouldn't bankrupt them. I really hope that in the future, perhaps twenty years from now, they'll re-make the movies. Oh, and about the third movie.. Is it just me, or did they never tell Harry that his father was an animagus, and that his animagus form was a stag? ._.; 1) Contacts bother Daniel so he doesn't wear them. That's why they had to use the computer graphic people had to make his eyes a different color at the ministry in OotP. I think it is really stupid. Green eyes are muy importante! 2) I know. I was furious. James is one of my favorite characters. crying Besides, if they didn't tell Harry about James' animagus and patronus was a stag, why did Harry think it was his dad who cast the patronus that saved him and Sirius? The screenwriters deffiantly didn't think it through and cut out one of the few parts my favorite character get mentioned.

This is a really interesting thread. I hadn't noticed a lot of these, while others of them really annoyed me. I do wonder what people who've never read the books made of the whole stag thing.
This movie error isn't to do with discrepancies between the rules set out in the books and the rules that seem to apply in the films (I agree that magic outside of school is a big one) and it doesn't seem to have been mentioned. It's just priceless:
In the first film, when the trio have finished their exams, Harry realises that the circumstances under which Hagrid obtained the dragon egg were decidedly suspicious ("Why didn't I see it before?"), and they rush to Hagrid's hut. As Harry comes to this conclusion, Emma Watson is very very clearly mouthing Harry's lines as Dan Radcliffe says them.

His eyes have bugged me more than anything. I mean, contacts annoy lots of people. They annoy me, its why I don't wear the pair I spent €200 on unless I absolutely have to. But still, for the movie?!
You'd think Rowling woulda complained. I know she complained about some stuff, and I know she was involved in casting to some small extent. And remember how she wouldn't let the scriptwriter but in that bit about Dmubledore remembering some girl?
And Daniel is ALL WRONG!!! He needs to grow his hair again. I know its longer in HBP, but not by much. And its still too damn neat! It should be like it was in GoF.
The thing that I hate most? Peeves. They didn't have to leave him out completely!
And the way they've been leaving out Nearly Headless Nick in the last few movies. Maybe that just annoys me 'cause I'm a major Cleese fan, but still.
Oh, and Dumbledore in GoF. That really bugged me. He was so different, and, and angry! Grr... Stupid Warner Bro.s getting everything wrong.
I do like the movie though, for all their differences.

Yeah,you're right.I mean,they could change the colour by comp,at least in those scenes where he's really near,and we can see his eyes.Like,on every HP wallpaper I have (and I have them a lot whee ) Harry/Dan,has blue eyes.BRIGHT blue,you can see from miles away that they are BLUE.And people complain about the colour of Hermione's Yule Ball dress?!Omg. rolleyes

It kinda ruins the whole point of Snape's existence *sob* I like Snapes existence. Snapes existence is awesome, and adorable, and sweet, and, and, and...
'Cause like, he exists to love Lily. And he's only good 'cause Harry has her- wait. In the third movie, doesn't Remus say that Harry has Lily's eyes?
All may not be lost!
Can anybody find that out for me? Please? I need to know now... I may have gotten my hopes up for nothing!

He does say he has her eyes. But Lily's eyes are green! If Harry has blue eyes, how can he have Lily's eyes?
People should think things through before they do things! They could mess up major plot lines there!

Well, maybe they've made Lily's eyes green.
Which I'm not entirely sure I'd be comfortable with.
Anyone remember what colour they are in the movies? I can't remember what ones showed her properly. Was it just Philosophers Stone?
Hang on, I checked Google images. I think, think that her eyes are blue. Its hard to tell though, 'cause the whole thing is tinted blue. Stupid night-time! xP
Dang, that ruins the pattern. Y'know, the HarryGinny, JamesLily pattern. 'Specially since I think Ginny has brown eyes 'stead of blue.
I must seem crazy... I've a big thing about eyes.

I have a thing about eyes too. Lily's eyes in the movie are blue. She and James are blue all over! I'll have to go hunt up a copy of Sorcerer's Stone and see how they appear in the Mirror of Erised and in the flashback of Lily protecting Harry. Umm, was that in the 3rd movie?
I have no idea how they will do the gulp! Severus passing on scene. He'll probably mutter you have your mother's eyes - let me look into them or something equally non-canon.

Yeah, that was the bit with the dementors I think. I haven't seen any of the first three movies in so long!
I hate Rowling for not complaining about that. I really think she shoulda, its not right.
