Maxi slowly stands up from the corner he had fallen asleep in, lightly dusting off his pants before looking to the holotable and grimacing. "That bad hm?" He asks quickly moving next to the two. "Well its none of my concern... Just let me know if they breach and are headed towards my area." Maxi says over his shoulder as he heads for the door, then stops and turns, digging into his pocket, he produces a package wrapped in white paper. Tossing it to Ryan, Maxi smiles and waves on his way out, "Enjoy your scouter, the rest have been given to your squad members already."

It was difficult indeed watching all of this happen. Nagi's eyes remained on the screen, watching the red markings appear. If it was as bad as Ryan was saying, then he'd have no choice.

"We could send Suri, my Lieutenant." Nagi suggested. "She is highly skilled and remarkably intelligent. I think she could hold her own against a lower ranked espada. If Tansen is already there then they can assist one another. As for the rest of the squad, there are only three members that are left and they are fairly new as well. They do not know shikai but are trained in some pretty strong Kido. Even so, I do not like the idea of one joining another rank by himself. Keeping them together may be a good idea since they cannot be evenly split. Though you say it can put a lot of strain on the user, these guys are made to work under pressure. I think they can handle it. If they are grouped together or evenly distributed in the rear, their distance attacks and barriers would prove effective for assisting those who are ahead of them."

Though Nagi sounded very confident, he was a bit nervous of electing Suri for the job of going alone. He knew that she'd be all up for it but there was still that possibility that it could be too much for her. If he were to send her and she were to somehow get injured or killed, it would be his fault once more. Another important thought that came to mind was about that hospital. Just what was so important about it? Something about the whole thing just didn't seem right to Nagi. Having all these hollow and arrancar appearing everywhere around the real world was probably just a diversion to keep them away from where Yuki and Onalim were being held. So was this hospital also another diversion as well? Perhaps that could be another reason for his adjutant to go. He trusted her enough to have the common sense to leave if things got too bad. If Ryan agreed to send her, then Nagi would just have to rely on faith.

Nagi nearly jumped as Maxi made himself known. He had no idea that anyone else was in the room a the time. He nodded as a greeting to the man as he approached and delivered another item that he had stashed inside his coat. For a moment, the funny thought of objects being manifested inside that coat flashed through Nagi's mind. It wouldn't have been surprising nonetheless.

((I am aware of what the hospital is used for but Nagi doesn't because he was passed out for a good amount of time. ))

Ryan nodded at Maxi, taking out the device and putting it over his eye. He pressed the button to test it, and the device scanned Nagi just fine. "Thanks, Maxi."

Turning back to the display, Ryan nodded at him. "I agree - Suri is quite sound tactically - she'll know how to handle herself. The rest of your squad can back up Yamoto, then, as he's the furthest from our target - the hospital."

Ryan gave the display a good, long look before nodding. "From what I hear, there's a gate to Hueco Mundo open at the hospital...which is why we're going there. We need to win the hospital as soon as possible so we can send in our rescue team. Enough talk, though - get Suri to the hospital. Now."

Nagi nodded. He was glad that his visit was no waste of time. Remembering the promise he made to his division, he wasn't going to turn back on it for a second. He liked this idea of allowing them to use their abilities to help others but he was still a bit nervous about exposing them to such an intense battle to start. Well... there was no choice in the matter really. They wanted action and now they were going to get it.

"Thank you Ryan." Nagi said as he turned away. He then paused for a moment as he headed for the door. "And hey... I'm glad you're still alive."

With that last cryptic message finally spoken, Nagi was out the door and headed back to his own division.

Ryan nodded toward Nagi as he left. Though Nagi likely didn't hear it, Ryan still said it: "Thank you, sir."

Ryan turned back to the tactical display and groaned. "What the hell are all these low-rank shinigami doing at the hospital? There's Espada there, those guys could be killed!" He muttered this to no one in particular, instead slamming his hands against the sides of the console. "If only I could be there. I'd be able to do something...but my part is here."

Ryan then noticed spots on the display of the Sereitei. Headed towards him. "Menos..." Checking his zanpakuto, Ryan ran outside, hoping Squad 7 had put the battlements there. "Maybe I can provide some backup, at the very least. Do a little fighting of my own," he muttered to himself as he ran.

Appearing inside the doorway, Nagi's chest heaved in and out. He had shunpoed all the way from his division in order to get here in haste without being spotted. Unfortunately, he was only seconds too late for he was now standing before an empty room. Even though he knew it was empty, he couldn't help but say something. Just in case...

"Ryan?!" he called, cupping his hand to his mouth to amplify his voice. It echoed back to him, practically saying "he isn't here, stupid!"

Nagi waited a moment before letting out a sigh. Figuring Ryan couldn't have gone too far, Nagi began to clear his head once more. There was at least the option of tracking his friend. Hopefully he wasn't going to have to break out the white chalk. That would have been a bit time consuming. Every second mattered at this point. Within seconds, Nagi felt a sudden pulse of Ryan's riatsu. Luckily it wasn't too far away.

Stepping away from the building, Nagi headed for his new direction.

((Sorry, quick post... I'm in a rush. XD (EXITS))

Ryan appeared in a shunpo step, striding toward one of the holotables. He was learning quickly - he was able to key in a general layout of Hueco Mundo without as much difficulty as before. It was incomplete, and Las Noches was represented as only a building - there was no inner layout. "It is like the fortress of Barad-dûr," Ryan thought aloud. "Those who pass its gates do not return." Looking over everything that he had available, Ryan thought over what to do, and what they would need.

Just seconds later, Nagi appeared in the doorway. Though his right eye was no longer swelled in its eagerness to cause destruction, he still looked as serious as he was before- just lacking the chill. He didn't say a thing as he watched Ryan begin to navigate his maps and mumble to himself. Figuring his voice would just distract the guy, Nagi began to take advantage of the silence and began going over his breeching plan in his head. Leaning against the door frame, Nagi placed his hand up to his chin in thought.

From what he had heard earlier, there were two espada present in the area but there were enough captains to hold them back. Suri was also there so Nagi could rely on her for a little help. Hopefully he wouldn't have to stop and explain what he was doing. Making her worry was the last thing he wanted to do. It would have been worse if she wanted to go. She was strong and was capable of holding her own in a fight, but if something were to happen to her because of this risky, reckless plan then he'd never forgive himself.

As for getting into the building, Nagi figured that the quickest and closest entrance to that open rift would be their best option. If they had to blast a hole through a wall just to get to it then he'd have no problem with that either. It was just unfortunate that he didn't have a clue what this place looked like nor did he know where the rift was located. Hopefully Ryan was already aware of the building layout. Even though the guy hadn't been there, he seemed to have enough maps and equipment to navigate his way through just about anything. If it really came down to it, Nagi could also use the tracking kido. In all, I didn't matter how they were going to do it just as long as it got done quickly.

Ryan looked up, having seen something out of the corner of his eye. "Captain Nagi," he said, looking over toward Nagi. "We've got a bit of a problem here." Sighing, Ryan looked at the map. "I know it looks like there's a lot in here, but I've only got a basic layout of Hueco Mundo - not like there's much there anyway - and the outside of Las Noches. There are no maps of the inside. No one we know of has ever been there and returned alive, at least, not with data."

Walking over to Nagi, who was near the main tactical holotable, Ryan circled the rift with a finger. "Once we enter here, we know how to get to Las Noches, but once we're in Las Noches, we're blind. It shouldn't be that much of a problem since most of the Espada should be out fighting, but we'd best not waste time in getting to the prisoners either way. The prison is likely to be down below, if my memory of a traditional castle serves right, so once we get in, we want to find a way down. If there is any."

Thinking things over, Ryan looked at the floor for a second. Then he looked back up suddenly, turned to the holotable next to him and poked around on the screen for a bit before he found the list of squad members. "We need a healer," he said. "A good healer, at that - we'll want any injuries healed as fast yet as well as possible. Since Captain Onalim is one of our rescue objectives..." Ryan racked his memory, then looked at the roster. "Lieutenant Envy. We need her. Best not to send a hell butterfly though - we can stop at Tansen's mansion in person."

Just thinking of a mansion made Ryan fume inwardly. Rich a*****e...he doesn't know how good he has it. Sighing, he looked back at the holotable. "Sir...do you have any idea of anyone who might know the inside layout of Las Noches?"
PostPosted: Mon Oct 06, 2008 5:50 pm

Nagi listened intently. Everything Ryan had to say made sense though he was a bit weary of the idea of brining someone else along. Though Ryan was correct about the fact that might need a healer, Nagi's mind was opposite of that. It was simply because it was the way Nagi was. Then again, he did come to Ryan with a good reason. He'd be an idiot to refuse any suggestions by the man he consulted for help. He didn't say anything but nodded in agreement.

As for the second question about navigating their way through Las Noches, Nagi simply let out a sigh and gingerly held his left hand to his chest where the silver locket dangled under his shirt. Nagi was always one to follow a strong feeling for something. When he became a shinigami, he first relied on strategy but as time went on, he began to follow his intuition a lot more for it proved to be more effective to his cause. Also, finding someone else meant that they'd have to take the time to look, and Nagi was pressed for time. On top of that, was still nervous about dragging more people along. In this case, he had a gut feeling to just trust his instincts.

"I'll be able to feel her..." he said, knowing how silly he may have sounded. "My heart will lead the way... You'll just have to trust me on this one."

((I'm assuming this is possible since in Bleach, everyone could feel each other's presence and such... They also used it to find each other too.))

(( I've used reiatsu sensing in short range in battle, so I'm also assuming it's possible ))

Ryan looked over the map again, surveying the possibilities. "Perhaps...I'm not too sure about that, but if you think so, sir, I don't really see many other options. I don't even think that Captain Tansen would have anything on the inside of Las Noches."

Ryan almost smacked the holotable. "I don't like it. I really don't like going in blind like this, but I guess it's the only way we could do it. I'm just not too keen on going in blind to the general layout. I don't know about you, but I know at least from what we have that each Espada has their own personal area...and I personally wouldn't like walking into Triox or Temor's, or even Torrik's. And that's only the Espada we know...past three, it's blank. We don't know who's in fourth, or fifth, or below that - though, below fifth shouldn't be too much of a trouble for two Captains. If only we had someone who knew..."

Ryan looked back up at Nagi. "So, when do we get moving?"

Staring blankly out a window, Nagi listened in silence to his friend's concerns. He fully agreed to them, but only to a certain extent. This was mostly because his head seemed to have some kind of forcefield around it, repelling all negative thoughts at the time.

I cannot be afraid. Yuki and Onalim's lives may depend on it.

There was no doubt that Nagi was sounding like a crazy person- suggesting that they just follow his feelings. Thinking of going into a hostile situation with no well thought out plan was just plain stupid. There were so many chances of this plan going wrong yet Nagi was more than willing to still going to do it anyway. He was sure that he trusted Ryan just as equally as Ryan trusted him. With Ryan's intelligence and Nagi's intuition, they'd be unstoppable. Somewhere in the back of Nagi's mind, a positive voice was telling him that nothing could go wrong. They just needed to keep their faith.

"Now would be a good time." he said, glancing over to his friend with a slight grin.

Ryan nodded, walking over to the holotable with the Hueco Mundo display on it and erasing it. Checking the Earth table again, he saw a large, familiar-looking black splotch covering the shinigami at the hospital, as well as three new red spots. Pulling up the legend, Ryan nodded. "So Tosen is there, then, and he's used his bankai. That should make for a good distraction - we won't be noticed when we get there."

Ryan looked over the rest of the board. "It doesn't look too bad. Tansen's house isn't too far from the hospital, and while there are many hollows there, we should be able to cut ourselves a hole and make it without terrible difficulty."

Ryan walked over to Nagi, facing the door. "This is it, then. Time to show what we're both made of." Taking another step forward, he looked back over at Nagi. "Ride, ride for ruin and the world's ending, if I'm not mistaken...I'll see you at the gate, sir."

With that, Ryan used shunpo and was off, headed for 12th Squad and the Gate to Earth.

Slash entered, and was suprised to find the room so empty... This was a time of panic, where arrancar roamed the sereitei freely. He would have thought the room would be flooded with epople arguing about the direct approach on their agressors. But since he was alone, Slash just took advantage of the silence and began studying the procedure-maps and charts. He would try and memorize everything he could about sereitei's response to hostility like this.
