Nereus continued to look at her. "Well umm..you ever been cliff diving?" He asked as the random idea popped into his head. He thought he had seen a pretty cool place one time during his journying (more like getting lost). He hadn't tried to cliff dive there at the time, but he thought about it. "I've been once. And it was such a rush."

Iwona's ears popped back up at the sound. "Cliff diving?" she questioned, imagining it in her mind. She imagined herself jumping off the edge and free falling down a cliff before landing in a large plash of water. "That sound fun!"

He nodded. "You bet it is! It's awesome!" He smacked a paw against the ground for emphasis. His eyes narrowed as he stared at her, daringly. "So yeah. Wanna go sometime?"

Iwona playfully smirked as she walked over to Nereus and put her face close enough that she could have licked his nose if she had wanted to. "Let's go do it then, cliff diving! It'll be fun!" She looked around for a moment. "um... where do we cliff dive?"

He stood stunned for a moment at her sudden closeness. He had to swallow to speak clearly again. Then he spoke clearly and confidently. "I'll take you to the place I saw before." He paused for a second, realizing he didn't actually know how to get back there. "Eh, it'll be no trouble for me to find, for sure."

Iwona smiled before running off and in a small circle. "I'm gonna go cliff diving! I'm gonna go cliff diving!" she chanted eagerly.

He grinned at her enthusiasm. "You bet you are! And it's gonna be the best. I bet you'll scream." He started after her, not sure which way was the right way, but deciding this way was as good as any.

Iwona ran back over to Nereus and skipped beside him, clearly happy. After a while, she calmed down and walked as she hummed a strange, african sort of sound.

Nereus kept his eyes open, trying to recognize their surroundings, but not wanting to look at all lost. After walking a ways, be began to feel uneasy. "Whatcha humming?" he asked, turning his gaze to focus on Iwona.

Iwona looked over at Nereus and playfully winked. "I'm hummin a song," she said bluntly, yet vaugly. She glanced awound lightly and asked, "So how much farther do we have to go?"

Nereus couldn't help but wonder what song. And he was about to ask, but her question reminded him of the task at hand. He looked around casually, keeping his cool. "Not too far from here."
And then the faint sound of waves crashing could be heard, along with the scent of salt.

Iwona giggled cheerfully and looked ahead, imagining herself weighless among the air. "I can't wait!"

Nereus grinned, clearly impressed with himself for actually finding it here. As the trees thinned, they could far off into the distance, the large expanse of grayish sky. Dark clouds were approaching from the distance. "Well.. this looks like the place." He led her out to the edge of the cliff and peered down. The water looked dark and angry.

Iwona stretched forward to look and gasped at the edge and immediately ran towards it. She stopped inches from the ledge and looked down in awe of how high they were; she couldn't believe it. "We're so tall!" she exclaimed as she shot him an exited look.

Nereus laughed at the way she referred to the height. They were tall. And yes, the cliffs were quite high making them tower over the water below like they were giants. Nereus patted Iwona's shoulder. "You thik you're up for this?"
