Ista just gave Regina a sad smile, "I was once a part of a magnificent herd who's members had pelts held the colors of the setting sun. Thinking of them makes my heart hurt." He let his gaze slide from the butterfly to some point behind her, "It is not easy, replacing those who you've lost, nor is it easy when you've traveled as long as I, and with each hope find only an even more heartbreaking sight."

His thoughts turned to the sight he'd seen a year after he'd fallen, of the pregnant Star who'd survived the fall only long enough birth her foal before passing. That foal had been stillborn, it's life snuffed out long before it had even gotten the chance to see the new world.

The sadness in Istalindir's eyes slowly faded as talk turned to Lughnasdh's daughter. "I know of a filly who's ventured out on her own. She was born here and knows nothing of the falling. Both she and her sister are herdless..." He trailed off thoughtfully, "I have yet to meet her family, but perchance, she might be willing to join. If anything for the sake of an unfamiliar playmate."

His blue tail swayed gently back and forth as he pondered Sangrya and her willingness to join whatever herd he would be a part of. The young filly had seemed so sad when he announced that he would be leaving. Hopefully if he saw her again she would be much happier.

"Sunniva" Ash said a bit surprised looking over Lughnasadh shoulder to his approaching daughter "I said you were stunning, and it's true" she laughed. "You really grew up into a beautiful young lady. Breath taking really."

Regina looked from "Greeting Sunniva, I am Regina" She made a small bow "It is a pleasure to meet the daughter of the noble Lugnasadh." She gave Lug a friendly nuzzle then turned into a butterfly and flew over and landed on Sunniva's nose. " I'm an Arion. Has your daddy told you about the different kinds of stars yet?"

Lughnasadh smiled ruefully at Regina. "No, I'm afraid I haven't gotten around to it, yet, though maybe her mother has while I was away."

Sunniva smiled at all gathered. "Thank you for the compliments. Yes, I do know about the different sorts of Stars, and I'm delighted to meet an Arion and another Arcturus." She turned to Istalindir. "My mother is an Arcturus named Vienna. I would be delighted to meet Sangrya and spend time with all of you in the future." She extended her muzzle to nuzzle Ash and Istalindir and then offered her muzzle for Regina to land on.

"I thought I heard a familiar voice." A strong, amused voice called out from the tree line. "If it isn't old Istalindir of the Heaven's Tears." The fading light cast shadows along the newcomers white and black patterned hide, but did nothing to dampen the amusement and happiness in her pink eyes. The large purple bow tied to her tail fluttered gently as she strode forward to n** the Arcturus on an ear in greeting. She tossed her head back when he went to playfully retaliate.

"Well well! Mitsumino of the Fallen Snow." Istalindir said happily, "I never expected to see you here, you vixen." His ear ached, but the pain was lessened because it was his precious adopted niece who'd done it. Inwardly he was thrilled that someone he had once known had fallen, and survived. He reached out and lipped at her mane, chuckling when she whinnied in a mortified manner before pulling away out of his reach.

"It's been a long long time Istal, how many moons have passed since we fell?" She asked, gaze now turned towards the other Stars gathered in the area. "Hm, a lot of new faces. Looks like we're the only two from our herd."

"Too many to count and remain sane Mitsy, too many." Ista replied with a sigh. "You are, admittedly, the only one I've seen from Heaven's Tears. I know the herd leader fell as well, but where he is I haven't a clue."

"Too bad. He was really something else. Anti-social, but a good leader." Mitsumino replied, and turned her gaze back to the others. "Forgive my rudeness. I am Mitsumino, Childe of Snow. Istalindir is my adopted Uncle." She gave the other Stars a small bow in greeting.

Were it not for her long tail dragging quietly behind her, Poison Ivy’s approach would have gone unannounced. The soft, springy grass seemed untroubled by the weight of her hooves; indeed, it showed no signs of her passing. Her pace was slow and her gait smooth and silent, and yet there was something behind her steady movements that spoke of reason, not of leisure.

For some days Ivy had been down stream, tending to an old tree in danger of slipping from the bank on which it grew. When she had at last ensured that it was no long in danger of being washed away, the tree gave her word of a gathering of “her kind” upstream. Thanking it, she left in search of the rumored group of Fallen, wishing to meet those with which she would share this island.

“ Greetings and well met.” She called when she finally stopped several strides away, taking the chance to observe the group from a distance. As her emerald eyes observed the other fair Fallen, she couldn’t help but wonder how she must look, standing there with her dirt-caked hooves and her unruly mane and tail, both laden with stubborn leaves and twigs.

Ash felt like she was shrinking....So many new faces in one day. She mustered a little courage and meekly greeted "how do you both do? she nodded to both Poison Ivy and Mitsumino "I'm..I'm Ash." She lowered her head and took a step toward Istalindir. She was feeling very uncomfortable as the number of stars grew but something about Ista's calm demeanor gave her the courage to stay.

Regina bowed to the newcomers "Greeting dear Stars, and welcome to the meadow it was good of you to come. I am Regina" She said as if She had been the one to plan the random meeting. Regina looked over at the mess that Ivy had brought in her tail. "Allow me to help you with that, miss" she said to Poison Ivy turning into a butterfly and flying over to her gently pulling the leaves from her mane.
