.:|I R ENTERING|:. Foal's Name: Itzali Foal's Gender: Male Prompt: 2 Itzali was happily playing, lost in the happiness of a lovely day. He'd seen some pretty butterflies and some lovely flowers, and he was in such a good mood! He hadn't thought of trouble, not even from that... who ever it was... that 'Suli had mentioned, since he was safely near home. He bounced around, and then stops, startled. There was a male... a... paint... Wind... standing there. Itzali stares at the male, and tilts his head. What a strange expression. For all that he smiled, it was truly unpleasant. None the less, he decided to be polite. "Hello there! I'm Itzali. It's nice to meet you... Might I ask your name?" The male sneered down at him, and said, in a snide tone, "I am Wild Wind, you little... abomination. Look at you... You are neither Wind, nor pure Horse.. Clearly not worthy of either... You don't belong, any more then any of your siblings belong, and you NEVER will. Do you understand me, abomination?" Itzali blinks, and stares. Ab...omination? He didn't know that word... "What... is an abomination?" He asks, slowly, trying to understand what the male was saying, as his mind raced some. So this was the Wild Wind 'Suli mentioned... He remember the name now, and was a little concerned, simply because he seemed mean. Wild Wind, sneering more, said "Hmph. Your parents tried to protect you from the truth by not even telling you the word. An abomination is something that causes others disgust, distaste, displeasure... It is a disgusting, horrible, and wrong creature... Like yourself and your siblings." Itzali frowned... deeply. Disgusting? Horrible? No! Surely not. His sisters were wonderful! Well, ok, they were SISTERS, but... well really! As sisters went, they were wonderful! So what if Vidia didn't have wings and 'Suli did? Heck, so what if HE didn't? It didn't matter! They were family and happy! He snorted, and stomped his small hooves. "I don't like you! I don't BELIEVE you, I think you're just a grumpy, mean fellow who only says things like this because you're JEALOUS of us. Jealous that we are happy!" He stomped again. "And jealous you can't ruin our happiness! My sisters and I, we're GOOD, happy people! People like you are just... mean. Mean and unhappy and trying to spread it to others! You... you're a BULLY. That's what you are." He nodded. "I don't believe you, wont ever, and you can LEAVE now or I'll yell for Momma and Dad and my sisters and we'll show you who's the 'abomination' here! You don't belong here!" He snorted and stamped, and then waited... waited until Wild Wind left, not responding to anything he said with anything other then 'Leave'. When he did, Itzali lifted his tail, and proudly walked back to his mother... Certain he was right. Are you a newbie to Soquili/How many do you (co)own? 1

.:|I R ENTERING|:. Foal's Name: Anuyi (Windy Moon - the name fo March in Cherokee) Foal's Gender: Male Prompt: 2
Anuyi seemed to make a face as he took in the words of this larger, boistrously noisy wind in front of him. While he was somewhat impressive to look at, his words were kind of... dumb. Really, where did this guy get off coming over here to his family's place, landing here, and mouthing off to him about where he was okay at? He certainly wasn't one of the family friends-
It clicked then who this 'intruder' into his playtime must be. His wind sister had mentioend an encounter with a rather 'troublesome' male. Wild Wind... yes, that was him. His parents mentioned him too. So this bad of wind was the person he was warned was trouble? How was he trouble, he jsut didn't know how to mind his own business it seemed!
Anuyi puffed up his chest and stomped a hoof defiantly at the larger horse and flicked his tail in irritation. So what if he wasn't a wind like his dad, and so what if he was something made by both? He wasn't gonna take this! He was prideful of his family and lvoed them, he didn't need some jerk coming in and butting into business telling him how things were. He'd make his own way in the world, as he saw fit.
"Listen here," he said, glaring up at Wild Wind. "I don't care what you think, okay? You may think that but I bet I can prove ya wrong. Just you wait and see mister, I can do whatever I want and be with whoever I want perfectly fine!" He gave another stomp of his foot. "My dad's a good person, much better then your loud self, and mom loves him and he loves her. And that's perfectly fine! Why don't you go pick on someone your own size, and be quiet and let a person enjoy their playtime?!" He gave a snort then, trying to look as impressive and strong as possible. Though he was ready to run if he had to, as he didn't want to die... but he wasn't gonna just stand here and take this from some loudmouth.
Who cared what he was or about his parents, everyone was happy except this one. Ohhh, he would be even madder if he didn't get playtime because of this jerk too. He made sure to keep up that glower of disapproval of interruption. After all, dad was pretty sure of himself, and he wanted to be like that too. He was ready for whatever was gonna come next, and brush off any more big talk from this pest.

.:|I R ENTERING|:. Foal's Name: Sanuye (red cloud at sundown) Foal's Gender: Female Prompt: #1
She would watch him all day, the muscles twitching along the line of her back, her heart soaring along with him..watching, watching her father as he sculled across the sky, wings beating with powerful strokes at one moment, then spread wide as he let the wind carry him. Sanuye longed with every part of her to be up there with him one day. They wouldn't talk, oh no. They would just know that they shared the same joy in their born abilities.
The filly gave a sigh, the long exhaling breath bringing her down to earth with a heavy bump. She had no glorious feathered parts, no winglets that wold grow into a great span and would carry her up on high. Sanuye was stuck on the ground, only to soar in her heart and mind. In those she was a Wind, like her father, like her older sister.
A frown wrinkled her fine features, and she glanced around from where she was lain in the long grass, eyes moving, moving. Stopping. There she was. Uwoduhi'Suli, or 'Suli for short. Her older sister who had what she so wanted, a marvellous pair of pretty wings, perfect, just perfect. And did she use them? No..
Sanuye kicked out at the ground with a rear hoof, her mood turning petulant now as she remembered speaking to 'Suli, asking her in a cajoling manner, wanting her sister to tell her grounded younger sibling how great it was to travel across the land from such a height. No such luck, no such grand tales of far away flights, or stories of tricks she had tried on the wing. No, her sister, her winged sister kept herself grounded! She rarely flew, and by choice! Oh, she'd given her some excuses, about a run in with a mean Wind who was all about the pureness of blood, and that she thought that she'd always had been meant to be a Grounded blah blah..
Sanuye scuffed the ground again, letting out a snort and getting to her hooves. She just didn't get it, she'd never get it. Her sister had this gift, and it was going to waste. 'Suli could do what so many couldn't! The filly stared hard at her older sister, looking at her from across the field. Maybe she could cajole her, give her the old 'do it for meeeee' thing. Get her flying again. It was worth a shot right? Because if Sanuye didn't get to fly, then she would make sure those who could, did. It was a childish, selfish thought...but then she was just a filly.

.:|I R ENTERING|:. Foal's Name: Wapasha ("Red Leaf") Foal's Gender: Male Prompt: 2
Your parents haven't said much about dad's rival, Wild Wind, but your big sis, 'Suli told you about the chance encounter she had with him before you were born. She pretty much voiced the same opinion of your parents that he's trouble and not worth looking for. But what you don't know is that Wild Wind used live with your mother and knows your stomping grounds near Evening Night's two-legger. You're off playing by the family tree near the riverside when a shadow seems to flicker across the sunlight. Before you know it, you're standing right in front of a great medicine hat paint who seems to be sneering at you behind his grin and bi-colored eyes. He tells you that you don't have a hoof to stand on in either the Wind or the Horse races and you're another abomination to your parents' record. How do you take this? Do you stand up for your family or will the doubt seed take root?

----------Entry-----------
Wapasha wandered away from the family. The day was too brilliant to lie in the sun napping while insects fluttered about and frogs croaked near the water. Too much to explore and see. The tranquility of the day would soon be shattered, an unexpected stranger lie in wait only yards away from the colt as he played.
Wapasha turned towards the river. Unlike his siblings, Wapasha had no wings to worry about bogging down. One positive note of being land bound, he could play in the water all day and never have to worry about how heavy or how long it would take for his feathers to dry. Wapasha nickered and bucked a bit as he began to run to dive into the water.
Suddenly, a shadow caught his eye. The young colt stopped, fearing it was his father. He just knew he'd get in trouble if he were caught wandering too far from his parent's protection. He cringed a bit as he cast a cautious glance towards the tree. A stranger was watching him, a cold expression on his face. Wapasha's heart pounded, he felt that something wasn't right here. The large stallion almost seemed pleased that he had found Wapasha alone, the colt took a few steps back, his back hoof sliding off of a rock quickly making him studder step for a moment.
The stallion laughed at the colt's misfortune, his voice low and menacing. "Incompetent, just like your father," he snorted as he took a few slow steps out from underneath the tree.
Wapasha's ears flickered, this stallion knew his father? Why would anyone say things so mean? "Who're ye and wha' are ye doin' 'ere?" the young colt asked, trying to be brave.
He ignored the question, steadily he walked foward still. "You're worthless. Look at you, you don't even have wings!" He 'tsked' at the colt as though he were ashamed, "Tawali must be so disappointed in you. His son....wingless and worthless."
The young colt shook his head, his small hooves slowly backing up as the stallion proceeded towards him. "Mah fa'ther loves me!" The expression from Wapasha's eyes showed the stranger that he was hurt by his words.
Stopping, the stallion laughed. "Loves you? Loves you!" he snorted and lifted his front hoof pointing out the wingless back of the colt. "You're a pitiful excuse of a horse. How could a wind love a child that has no wings?" Wild Wind extended his wings to their full length, looking back at them and taking a stance of pride in front of the colt. "Look. Look!" he preened, "How will you match this?"
Wapasha's bottom lip quivered, only for a moment. He stood there in awe of the stallions beautiful spread. "Mah ma doesn't 'ave wings, and mah fa'ther loves 'er!" Tears began to swell in his eyes, he didn't understand why this stranger was being so cruel. Surely his father loved him? Surely, his father loved his mother?
"Do you really believe, that a Wind would fall in love with a lowly earth bound horse?" a hearty laugh left the lips and lungs of Wild Wind. "You're mother is nothing, you, are simply a mistake that Tawali feels the need to correct," he stopped and tilted his head, then started laughing again. "You're more of a mistake than I thought. I had at least expected you to have wings and resemble a wind. You're an abomination to our kind. I know what -I- would do if I were Tawali...But, I'm sure he's thought of it." He sneered down at the colt, "If I were you, I'd take after your sister. I'd leave and save your father the trouble and shame of being parent to a wingless doat."
Wapasha stood there, tears streaming down his cheeks. A mistake? Surely not. His mother and father loved him, didn't they? His mind was racing with worry and wonder. If he left, he'd surely die on his own. Could he survive in the wilderness? What would he tell others that he met, he was an orphan? No. "YOU'RE LIEING!" he yelled at the stallion. Turning quickly, he ran towards his mother's side as fast as his still wobbly legs would carry him. Tears falling and his breathing so obstructed that he could barely catch his breath. He wanted to hide in his mother's mane...his father loved him.....he did.

.:|I R ENTERING|:. Foal's Name: Ветер (Russian for Wind) Foal's Gender: Male Prompt: 2 I'm pretending he's a little wind for this 83
A young rust colored colt stood silently by the banks of a small clear stream his green eyes staring into the water without really seeing it there. He was deep in thought mostly about his family, he didn't understand why his father had mated to a grounded in the first place. Yes, he loved his mother he truly did but didn't they realize how much it hurt his older sisters? Each wanted to be something they weren't, the little colt shook his head closing his eyes fro a moment trying to clear his head. He didn't need to think about his family like that, it was wrong terribly wrong; his parents loved each other why shouldn't they be happy despite the fact that they were of different breeds? That didn't stop others from doing it right?
His tiny ears perked up as the thud of hoof beats approached slowly, for a moment he thought it was father but then the form of the white and black medicin hat stallion appeared coming out of the shadows. Ветер's ears flicked back, Wild Wind, he didn't like this stallion already from what his father had told him of his old herd mate.
Almost instantly the white stallion started to jabber away, talking about how he was an abomination, he would never fit in, and never be worthy to be called a wind.
He listened silently though he didn't care much about what the stallion was saying, but when he finally shut his trap Ветер spoke up. "YOU may not think I'll ever be worthy, YOU may think I need to just give up and run away, but I will NEVER do such a thing. I will prove myself a proud wind! No matter what I have to do to accomplish it!"
The colt flicked his tail and walked away holding his head high, wings stretched up proudly, but the stallion had accomplished his intended plan, the seeds of doubt took root deep in his mind. Would he ever be a strong wind if he was raised by such a mismatched and broken family?
He didn't walk far before Ветер had stopped again and standing silently lost in his thoughts, no matter how hard he wanted to deny it, his father had mated to a grounded and he didn't see that in good light .. it was wrong for a king of the sky to tie themselves down to a grounded. Ветер tossed his mane and stamped a fore hoof, no he would never do such a thing his mother and sibling would be the only groundeds he would ever love, he swore it and he would show Wild Wind that he was a strong proud wind despite whom his parents were.
His ears perked again as he heard a soft voice calling his name, mother was looking for him and she was close.
He shifted, it was to soon .. he had to much to think about at the moment he couldn't let her find him not yet. So without a word Ветер narrowed his eyes and took off into a dead run through the forest tucking his wings in close to his back, he had to get away without her knowing he had been nearby as he didn't want to hurt her by letting her know he had run from her but he needed some time by himself, some time to think about what he was and how he was going to prove himself a proud wind without killing his family ... if that was even possible.
