"Ah don't think anything could've made me ready for th'first time. Ah was so mad at Nuka when he was around and then when he went away..." She shook her head. "It all changed once Ah had th'foals though. Somethin' about bein' able t'see them for the first time... Jus' knowin' that they're there." She closed her eyes, sighing softly as she was touched by nostalgia, smiling when her eyes opened. "It was much better the second time. Ah haven't thought about it happenin' again any time soon, but Ah wouldn't be surprised if any of my brothers found themselves nice mares."

Ardia nodded, knowing what the mare meant;
'I was midwife for another mare, helping her through the labour, but I couldn't do it for her, and nothing prepares you for all the worries, or the pain.' she gave a little shiver. Much as she loved her children to pieces, all 7 of them, she was glad it had been a while since she'd given birth.
The end result was magical, the pain was not.
'Well, if you do see them before I do, please let them know they have a grandmother who would love to be a nuisance.' she chuckled, letting her tail curls swish behind her.
