He sighed and nodded slightly. “ It is a little small. I wonder if I can find a bigger one. ” He chuckled lightly realizing that he was a little hungry but he said nothing of it just yet. Shifting his bright green eyes upwards he looked to see how high the sun was. “ I didn’t realizing it was getting so late so quickly. Did you want to want to head into the caves where it’s cooler. ”

Rain blushed as her stomach let out a loud growl. “I guess we should get something to eat then go to the caves. If I remember correctly there is a small spring not far into the cave system. Unless you want to stay here?”

Looking down to Rain as her stomach spoke out in its hungry he smiled. " Seem's I'm not the only hungry one. No, no. I'll go with you. " He moved closer to her side, his long tail swaying behind him gently before hi brushed it against hers. " I'll happily go with you, and I couldn't allow a lady to go in there by themselves, it would be rude. "

Rain laughed softly. “Maybe we can find a big enough fish to eat in one of the bigger pools.” She carefully walked closer to the ocean looking out for stray waves. Sure enough there was a decent sized fish. Swiping the fish form the pool she head back to Frosty. “Think its big enough to share?”

He watched the spotty grey female as she moved away from him and towards the ocean. He kept an eye on the waves as they moved in and out, ready to spring into action if they looked like they where going to try and swallow her up. He was impressed as how well she handled the large fish and smiled giving a nod to her question. " I'm sure thats big enough, probably more the big enough. "

"In that case lets move to the caves." Rain looked out at the water. "The waves are starting to get ruff, there must be a storm out there somewhere." Carrying the fish careful not to drop it, she made her way inland. Searching the cliff face she frowned. 'Where is it?' she asked herself. Ah, there it is.' Turning to Frosty she pointed to a small opening in the cliff. "That one will take us to the spring."

Following behind Rain closely he watched her searching the cliff face for something. She followed her eyes and looked around as well before turning towards where she had pointed. Spotting the small cave entrance she moved ahead of her to check it out. It looked clean, and safe enough. Turning to her he bowed a littled and motioned for her to continue forwards. " After you M'Lady. "

Rain giggled, then stepped forward. She froze at the cave opening. Turning to Frosty she grinned shakily. “Please stay close, I don’t much care for close spaces. I’ll be alright when we get to the spring because its nice and open but till then there isn’t much room.” Taking a deep breath she walked into the cave.

Frosty was a little surprised at the females request and her shacking. He moved up behind her nudging the end of her tail with his nose to let her knew he was there. He stayed close to her as the entered the cave and stayed as close as he could as they made there way through the tunnel. It wasn't to long before the walls of the tunnel seemed to spread apart as they reached the spring. The cooler air underground was a releif to the male and the sighed happily. " What a difference it is, so much more livable. "

Rain set the fish at the edge of the spring. “It is much cooler in here. You must have been roasting out there with your winter coat.” She bent down and took a long drink from the spring. Looking up she said. “It was almost to hot even for me.” Slicing the fish, she offered half to Frosty.

" Yes, cooked is a pretty good way to describe how I feel in the summer heat some times. " He stopped at the edge of the spring and drank from the cold water there, finding it event colder then the water he had been swimming in. Turning to look at Rain he smiled and nodded at the offer of the fish. " Thank you. And thank you for showing me this place. This will be a nice place to run away to when the days get to hot. " He looked around for a moment before his eyes fell on the small opening that lead into the large room. " I hope I'm not to rude in asking but how did you know this place was here? "

“Diamond,” Rain said softly shuddering as she remembered. “He scared me half to death. We had come to the beach to have fun and he wondered off.” She look around the cave. “I looked everywhere for him. It was pure chance that I walked by the opening of this cave at the same time he called out.”

Frosty chuckled lightly, though with no disrespect. " I remember doing things like that as a youngester. He probably didn't even notice that he had wondered off. Good thing that he was found though, it's probably easy to get lost down here. " Leaning down he took a bit of the fish and felt his whiskers wiggle at the wonderful flavor. " Mmmm, it's been a little while since I had fish, so good! "

“He didn’t until he fond himself alone in a cave with no way out.” Rain leaned down and started to eat. “Your right, it is good.” She sighed softly. ‘Soon Diamond is going to find someone and leave. I don’t know if I will be able to hander that.’ Looking into the spring she muttered. "I don't want to be alone."

His ears twitched as he heard her muttering to herself and he looked over to her a light frown forming on his white face. He didn't like seeing her sad, though he wasn't sure what and he felt a little bad. " Moving closer to her and nuzzled her cheek a little, very softly. " I... could always keep you company once Diamond grows up and starts his family. And I'm sure he wouldn't wonder to far off, he's want to visit you. "
