Oh my god, I love the dude who plays Warren Peace! He's so hot! I knew I recognized him somewhere, and that black-and-white picture doesn't do him justice. I like Garrett Hedlund more than I like Steven Strait, though... -runs around giggling-
Hmmm. I pictured Jacob as more native-American looking, no offense. He is a Quileute, after all... and the book says he has dark copper skin. -_-;

KimCL Also, does the girl who plays Bella not look like Emma Watson? Isn't that the girl who plays in Catch That Kid, or am I just confused?

Not sure. I found this incredibly sexy picture of Ben Barnes and it reminded me of Jacob because of the motorcycle. Y'know, if Jacob was hotter, like Edward. So it's kind of like Edward on a motorcycle..... heart This is one of my favorite pictures of Ben. Do you see why?

Scotties MiaKitty OMG you're totally right he'd make a GREAT Jacob... and he's totally cute!!! And wow, when I read what you typed...'He's gonna be in another movie soon, yeah?' I jjust read some book (not sure what it was) and the guy in it did that all the time, and then the girl did it once and smacked herself on the head and muttered 'God, now I'm starting to talk like him!' And what's wrong with Jake??? I like Jake... he's like a little (forgive me) puppy, stuck out in the rain, and you just wanna take him inside and take care of him!!! (sorry... i have very strong mothering instincts for a 16 year old...) But it is? Really? Wow... Well, you know, if you notice, any movie with vampires practically gets bumped up a rating just because of them. The Queen of the Damned is rated R, but it's not nearly as bad as some other movies that came out around then and are rated PG-13. rofl I guess I've never thought of Jacob as cute while I was reading the books. I transferred his cuteness to Edward. sweatdrop But now I'll think of Steven Strait whenever I think of Edward. No, I was asking about the Covenant, not Twilight. I think that will be PG-13.

Okay, this is Garrett Hedlund: ^ Incredibly hot. He played as Murtagh in Eragon, except he had dark hair in the movie. I loved Murtagh even before I saw the movie, and Garrett is perfect for the part! -huggles-

He looks like what Jasper should look like. Oh! I loved Murtaugh! I always thought that Jason Dolley[yes, very lame] should play Mike.
Like my Edward on a motorcycle picture? That is also hot.

Well, I think Robert will do a good job acting as Edward, I mean if he looks like Cedric he will not, but I have seen the trailer on youtube and he actually doesn't look that bad. But of course it is difficult to play a character like Cedric because he is liked and adored by so many people (girls^^) and everyone of them (us^^) has a certain Edward in her mind and he cannot look like all of them.

That's a good point, though. But for what it's worth, he'll be great.

I am glad they picked a good looking guy to play Edward. Though I am a bit iffy...I don't know if I will be able to look at him as Edward and not Cedric, and I thought the books were amazing so I hope they do the movies just as well.

I'm not trying to be offensive, just honest, okay? ... I disliked Twilight and didn't read the rest of the series after book one. The characters are shallow and underdeveloped; readers are simply expected to accept them at face value. Meyer, the author, openly admits she knows little about vampyrs and in the novel it definitely shows. Much of the plot is like the stereotypical vamp fan fiction found on-line and I don't doubt that she "borrowed" some ideas. I didn't hate the book, but considering how many fantasy stories I read, I can deduce that it isn't very good, and I cannot comprehend the ridiculous popularity surrounding it. I'm not an Anne Rice fan either, but at least I understand why people like her; the Twilight hype baffles me. Maybe the film will be better? I might watch it, though if I do it certainly won't be in theartres. If I do see it, I imagine Robert will make a good Edward.

I love Twilight, but I do agree, it has WAYYYYY too many fans. It's a good series, don't get me wrong. I really enjoyed it. But it's not AS phenominal as Harry Potter was.
Get what I'm saying?
It's very good, just not SUPER SUPER good. But I love it just the same.
Please don't hurt me. XD

I wonder what the requirements were for that part: "We need a drop-dead flipping sexy young man to play a sparkly vampire who wants to drink his girlfriend." I think that look-wise, he fits the part. But when I heard that Cedric was playing Edward, I just thought, "Dead, popular, Hufflepuff Quidditch player to inhuman, hot, blood-drinking vampire?" and now I kind of like that... mrgreen I'm reading New Moon now and I can't wait to see the movie!!!

I prefer it when vampire writers know less about the legends, because it means that they won't base the entire story solely on those legends. I can't tell you how boring it gets to read books by different authors that all sounded exactly alike with the exact same storyline, because they're all drawing on the same legends. Furthermore, I don't think that you can honestly say we are expected to accept the characters at face value, as if we know nothing about them up to the point they are introduced, because each of the main characters and even a few of the lesser characters have stories that are told in the books as the story progresses. I don't think the characters were underdeveloped. I think that other books are over done. I love Anne Rice books to death, but it takes me months to read them because they are so tedious. And furthermore, every author 'borrows' ideas. There is no such thing as an original story in the modern world, because every author has people they like, and ideas they have read that they think are interesting. Everything is based on ones own ideas, but comes completely from little tidbits from others. You can't call the characters underdeveloped, because by only reading the first book, you didn't give them a chance to. A character develops through their lives, and you only learned about a small portion of those. Twilight was her first book, and she was just getting into the story towards the end of it. You don't see the true force behind the characters until you give it a chance, and from what I can tell, you decided from the get go you wouldn't like it.

Well he played pretty good as Cedric. In Twilight he's really making mysterious look sexy, no doubt about that.
