Luna slightly laughed at Day's actions and felt lucky Prince's attacks were not within her range - for now at least. Who knew for sure what the battle would dish out next? Well, from Day's next command, a thunder punch apparently.
But they could stop this. She knew Prince had the aerial skills for it. The sky was his territory. "The Raichu's coming at your back Prince! Loop!"
With the advanced warning, Prince managed to maneuvere his large body in a loop to barely avoid the main bulk of his body from getting hit by the raichu. But the electrical fist did connect to his tailfeathers and that was enough for the static to travel up his pain and cause difficulties in his movement.
With clenched beak, Prince followed up the loop by barely gliding over a pillar and racking his claw in it again to shed another mudslap attack onto Faith.

Both Day and Faith already knew that a mudslap was coming.
"Quick, stop some of the mud in mid-air with thundershock!"
"Chu!" Faith instantly produced several small sparks that flew at the mud, causing some of it to stop midway, before it reached her.
She curled into a little ball, waiting for the mud to hit, and trying to decrease the damage. As soon as it passed, she uncurled herself and let out yet another sparkling thundershock, but this time directed at Prince.

Luna noticed that Day and Faith were getting more and more familiar with their pattern of attack - it was inevitable since the pattern was quite obvious: use mudslap over and over again until the enemy faints. The plan was simple, but it was still affective and Luna was sure she could crush Day's resistance to her plan. Plus, Prince was also quite good at reading the battle. He was prepared for the thundershock attack as well.
The pidgeot was already on another pillar by the time the thundershock was sent towards him. He kicked off another mudslap at the electric attack to stall it and attack Faith at the same time as he quickly flew away to another pillar, avoiding the majority of the attack. He glanced at Faith while he landed on another pillar and had a random urge to put to use what he learned from his swablu teammate.
Prince raspberried at Faith tauntingly.

The smartest option that Day had for the last attack was to use the same, questionably-effective tactic as before, though she hated the sense of almost definite defeat that she had for the battle. "Alright Faith, you know what to do." "Chu..." Faith choked out, both weak and irritated by the Pidgeot. Her fur was dirty and caked over with mud and pebbles. In an effort to tease him, she pretended her little arms were wings, which she flapped like Prince did, and she squinted her eyes like a bird. To finish her little imitation, Faith pulled her head fur back into a little tuft, like the long feathers of a Pidgeot. And she did all this while shooting thunder from her cheeks.

With a small amused smile at Faith's last effort, Luna ordered Prince to make his final move.
"Mudslap!"
Of course, Prince didn't need to be told this, he knew what to do already. Now already in a location with dirt, he had plenty of time to fling a healthy amount of it back at the thunder attack and Faith. The electricity brushed his tailfeathers slightly, leaving some static residue as he moved to yet another pillar just in case.

((When Faith faints, you choose another pokemon but don't attack. You do roll a 6 sided dice though to see who attacks first in this new round :3 ))

Faith curled herself into a ball in anticipation. Day didn't want to watch the dirt drain her last health away, but she knew that the faster the battle progressed, the less time it would take for them to reach a Pokemon Center and take a nice long rest.
After Faith, who was unconscious by that time, was withdrawn into her safe little ball, Alex took her place. He was weak, but by nature always ready to battle.
They waited for either Prince to make a move, or for Alex's chance to strike.

Prince took off to circle the airs again, stretching his sore wings from the damage they had taken against faith. But he had triumphed in the end. While in the skies, Prince stared down his next opponent. He still felt plenty of energy inside himself - he could go on for another round.
"One down, two more to go, huh~?" Luna said to no one in particular with a smirk on her face.

(( 6, 5, 4! It's a whole row of numbers! xD ))
On a random spontanous burst of excitement, Luna commanded the battle to begin. "'kay Prince, let's move in!"
The bird pokemon let out a shrill cry - partially to surprise his opponent and partially just because he wanted to let out his excitement - as he swooped down parallel to a pillar to rake his claws on the loose dirtand fling a mudslap attack at Alex's face before soaring back high into the air once more.

Just as Alex was jumping to another pillar to avoid the attack, the mud caught him right in the worst spot, from his standpoint. Brown seeped into his range of vision, and he was already in midair, but he never made it to the next pillar. Unable to see clearly, he chipped off the whole edge of where he was about to land, and was sent hurtling down, crashing into pillars along the way. Had he been even half conscious, he would have been able to save himself from falling, but his fighting spirit had slipped along with his body.
Luckily, Day was able to catch him with his ball before he sunk into the lava. As she caught it again, she could even see that the ball was singed from catching Alex so far down.
"Go, Cosmo! Maybe we can make at least one Pokemon faint!" Day yelled as she released the Pikachu. But as hopeful as she sounded, she definitely didn't feel that way.

Luna chuckled at Day's statement and chirped a "great job!" to her pokemon, although the bird pokemon really didn't need anything to inflate his already-large ego anymore.
Prince continued circling the skies, feeling very smug about his achievements. He glanced at the Pichu who probably was at full strength right now. Still, the pidgeot could not but help feel that he was on top of the world right now and could do anything - even defeat three pokemon in a row. [+50 Def] [Prince: 450/1150] [Nine: 500/1000]

As Prince circled overhead, Day saw their chance to move.
"Oooohkaaay Cosmo! This is your time to be just like your mommy! Use thunder shock!" Day yelled, really pushing herself to at least sound motivated. Maybe some of that fake motivation would somehow give Cosmo some more battling drive.
"Pika pi!" Cosmo squeaked, intimidated by what looked to him like a bird of prey looking for its next meal. Still, an order was a command that had to be followed. He charged himself up, concentrating on his target far up above him, and let go of the pent-up electrical energy.
