"Oh. Hi." Alex blinked at the young woman in the camp shirt, then offered a lopsided smile; he was, after all, angry at his mother, not the camp, so why take it out on the employees? That would just make it more miserable than it already was. He took a deep breath and said, "I'm Alexander Stevens." His chin went up and he stared at her defiantly, his cheeks flushing with colour; he expected her to look at him funny, laugh, or say something mean - maybe even all three. That was what normally happened. "Most people call me Lexxy." He added, dropping the suitcase to cross his arms over his chest.

"That's if I make it threw the summer.." This time he wasn't kidding. He was acutlly beign dead serious...His smile faded back to emotionless. " Don't get me wrong camp seems pretty cool and all. Well actully in my eeys it's gonna be hell but anyways...I get so emotional sometimes that I explode trash things...Burn things ect... And well that's why i was sent here. To get my additude in check..So if you ever see me wiht a lighter in hand.. Just get something and stab me before I kill everyone.." Matt glanced over at the councler and the new camper. "New camper, looks like a girl...it's a boy though..."
"Forgettign something Ken...I have no choice but to smile...I got dropped on my head as a baby...Leaving permante damage." Andy rolled his eyes as he put down his sheets. He looked up at Matts bunk and say the black pillow and black sheets. "Might as well do his. He climbed up and spred out his bed spred then jumped back down.

"True, true. But just try to look at the bright points of it. It takes more muscles to smile than it does to frown, and therefore you're saving energy, forced or not." Ken added, trying to cheer him up. But it was hard; this was gonna be a fun summer....
"Don't think I'm looking foward to it either; this place just spells 'forced correction' to me. It was my brother's idea for me to come here, and I am still totally against it. I just figured I might as well wait til one of them make me mad.
You see, like you with anger, I also am not the most stable of people. Most people think I'm insane, since I apparently am the only one who can see Sakura. Little lady with bat wings, not the most pure of people. She'll try and suggest things to me, and if I don't listen, she'll get revenge. Make me listen to her.
I tried like my brother wanted me to awhile back, to forget her, but everytime I try to explain it to a specialist they think I'm the batty one. The kids at school think I'm a freak before they even hear of Sakura or me talking to her. After all, a one-eyed person is left open for many insults and fun to be made of the person. Cyclops, freakshow, psycho, you name it and I've heard it.
There was one breaking point (well, there were alot techinacally), but I finally had had enough one day. Some cheerleader was messing with me as usual, going all Cyclops on me (she's the real idiot; cyclopses have the eye in the MIDDLE of the face). Then I kept hearing Sakura go "crush her, crush her throat." She had repeated this for awhile and I hadn't listened, so I finally took her advice.
Turns out I nearly killed the witch, and apparently I had tried to hit myself with a metal bar left over from construction. I don't remember that part, but I woke up in the hospital. That's when the 'parents' I live with decided I really needed to get rid of Sakura. But it won't be easy."
Rin paused, surprised at how much she had just opened to him. Upon the change of subject, she looked that direction too and saw from the distance.
"Really? It's hard to tell way back here, even for me. We'll just wait and see, I suppose." she shrugged, and suddenly wondered something........if it WAS a guy, would Ken get it wrong? He had a tendancy to sometimes flirt with women......that'd be hilarius. After all, he is always the looker out of the two siblings.
"Ah, we'll go with Lexxy; much shorter and easier to say than Alexander." Crystal nodded, checking off the list on her clipboard. So this was the double-gender one; other than the curves and shoulders he was quite convincing. And she wanted that dress.......while black wasn't her usual color, it looked so cute! He definiately knew his tastes were good.
She watched as he crossed his arms over his chest with a flush of color in his cheeks, as if waiting for something. "Ah, like I said, no need to fear us; we mean no harm or insult. If you hear any lip from staff or student (as in the over the top insults), just let me know and I"ll set'm straight."
"You'll be in dorm......2, with the guys. Sorry, but part of camp rules. No co-ed, even with the dresses. We as the staff went to great lengths to get a good answer from specialists and stuff, so we gotta stick to rules. You'll be fine though; everyone is here for one reason or another. But either way, you can visit other dorms during the day if you want." she shrugged, and motioned for him to follow her to the dorm.
"So, I'm curious.......where'd you get that dress? It's adorable...I'm totally getting one later...." she asked him, figuring to see how much he was of a lady. Part of-not study!- but to get to know the camp goers. And she wanted that dress location, which store it was at.

Alex stood there, a little stunned. No one, not even his family, reacted to him like this. Maybe this place wouldn't be so bad, after all.. "I... thank you. It's from Assez." A smile broke out over Alex's face as he grabbed his bag and hurried to catch up. "They have other colours, too, if black's not your thing, and they even custom make some clothes. I can give you the address or phone number or whatever, if you want," He offered. "So, what's your name? Have you worked here long? Do you like it?" His regular chatty self took over and his mile-a-minute mouth started firing questions.

Matt smiled weakly as he listend in silence. He then reached depe into his pocket and pulled a pink lighter out. " Don't use it to smoke but next time..Use this." He put it in her hand and pasued before speakign again.
"It's more entertainign to watch them burn and trust me, if they actully listend to the adult or fire frighters presentaions..When they where little. They'll live." He cruled her fingers around the lighter and let go quickly.
"By the looks of it he's male with a keen eye for Womans ware. He's wareing a dress from Assez. Don't ask me how I know that," He put his hands up near his head almost ina surender motion but that's not how he ment it.
Andy's smile got wider. "But it takes even less mucles to give them the finger!" He now figured that Ken wasn't so bad and Matt...was a work in processes. "Oh yeah, on the sign up list, there was another name. We're roomign with a guy name Alexzander as well... I only looked down until mine so I'm not quite sure if where rooming with anyone else."

"Assez.....gotcha! I'll have to look up more on that later..." Crystal said, mainly to herself as she waited for him to catch up. She was happy to see the kid smile, and chuckled slightly as she realized that this one was one of those "chatterbox" type of folks.
"So many questions, not that I mind or nothing! Well, first off, I'm Crystal Maria, but just call me Crystal; gets rid of the formalities. Let’s see…….we’ve been in training for the camp for about a year, but this is our first official year of the camp running, so it could go any direction depending on how well the first group behaves and acts and all that. And as we promised the parents, we’d help with whatever issues each person has.
But ya see, the biggest problem with doctors and specialists and all that.....is they don't try to connect with the person they're working with. It makes people feel like, lab dogs or something; I would know, as well as most of the camp staff here. Here at the camp, our goal is to have people recover or learn from whatever issue they come across, but that issue not being the MAIN point of the camp. We try to add in some fun stuff, games that build character and trust and whatever was unfortunately lost over the years. We’re trying to give you guys what we weren’t able to get back in our teen years. A chance to get away from the world’s cruelties and recuperate here, so you can go back into the world with pride and happiness in the soul.
But we’re definitely gonna have some fun, although we’re mainly using this afternoon/evening to give a chance for everyone to get here on time; the place is kinda hard to find, I realized when coming here for the first time. Could take the stubborn non-map-users awhile.” she chuckled. “In a little bit we’ll get people down here for some dinner, and give a bit of a exclusive camp intro, and you guys can ask any random questions you’d like. Or if there’s anything you wanna ask in private, don’t be afraid to ask. We don’t bite!” she assured Lexxy as they made their way to the dorm cabins.
Ken chuckled. “True again. I’m not sure how many people are staying in the room; they might have been preparing for larger numbers. Though one of the staff told me earlier that they’re giving people time to get up here; it’s hard to find the place. They need a bigger sign up front.” he nodded in agreement.
Rin took the lighter with shaky hands, her one eye a rather wide; burning people?! It sounded so unmoral, but she didn’t question Matt’s motives. Lighting people up sounded rather freaky, even for her. She’d never actually burn people, unless they seriously got her to a point of being suicidal. Then she’d just use it on herself instead of someone else. But it’d be good for campfires or if they needed wood burnt, so she nodded a quiet thanks.
“I-I suppose. But don’t worry about me smoking; I’ve already lost an eye, so I’d like to keep my voice. That stuff smells like crap anyways.” she nodded to him, hiding the lighter in her belt after putting it on safety lock (assuming a lighter has that, I dunno. >.>).
Looking back out to the bay for a moment, she then looked at Matt’s reaction with a raised eyebrow. “Do you have a sister or something? “ she asked, hoping that was the answer, or Matt had more secrets than she realized.

"Heh heh" Matt got a nervous look on his face.. He rubbed the back of his neck and began to talk. "I wish that was the case...Sure I'm about 6'9 now but when I was younger...I was kinda short and very light...So i got picke don easily...And it was after the football game...The night after my girlfriend died... The guy's thought I was lying when they asked me what was wrong...So they found it funny. They came in after the game with her clothing...And the put it on me...She had a dress like that.." He swollowed hard and burrie dhis head in his knees. He whiped the few tears that had escaped his eyes then tried to forcus on the horizon.
"Yeah, this is going to be so much fun!" Andy added. "So why are you here, personaly I'm here to ware off my adrnealin and hyperness.."

Ken put away the suitcase before speaking, brushing back some of his long blond hair.
"Well, one reason is to make sure Rin is ok; she's quite a moody one and it took me forever to get her to come here just on the me-being-here comfort. She's very depressed, scared of people, and low on self-esteem, that, and......well..."
He sat down on the bed and looked Andy in the eyes.
"She firmly believes that there's a little pixie-like creature that gives her advice, that's not always so great. She calls it Sakura, and she's scared of it. It bugs her, keeps her up all night with tricks and evil antics unless someone sleeps next to her. It's really worrying me as well as our parents, so I'm hoping this'll help her.
That, and I've been on edge lately with nerves; I think she's used them all up." he said with a shrug. "Besides, I could use a break from the outside world; recharge my dead battery, so to speak."
So that's it; the reason for his sadness is his girlfriend's death. He misses her, he still loves her....this must have been fairly recent for him to be this upset still....
Rin looked at the boy for a moment though the solo eye; for a moment she didn't know how to react, so she took a minute to picture the mocking scene. A boy wearing a dead one's clothing while the other men made fun of his misery. She shivered in thought; humans could be such sick people!
Ironically, they say SHE is the one with the issues, and Matt. Hey, at least she didn't sleep around like some of the girls at her school do. She wondered why some people were labeled as having issues and others did not, when the ones that weren't labeled got away with everything and had souls as black as coal. It was a cruel world, and very few could see that. Friends always turned on you and weren't really friends, people teased, the world finds ways to crush you into eternal darkness while you choke slowly on it.
Of course, it was that kind of talk that got her sent here in the first place. Interesting; she was merely being observant. Oh, and Sakura. That too.
After a moment of thought, she placed a comforting small hand on the boy's nearest shoulder; the other one would look like she was hitting on him, which wasn't the case. Learned that from the preppy idiots back at home.
"I-I'm sorry to hear that, but try to look upon the bright side of it. She won't have to suffer the worries of the world anymore, it's daily stresses and pains. She's watching you from above, and you know that she's safe and sound.
At least you know, that no matter what.......she cares, and you'll see her again someday."

"I- she doesn't but thanks anyways Rin.." He looked over at her and smiled. " I just- sometimes the wya people are so crule..Like the people who make idotic cyclops jokes about you.. How could they...People never really put there selves in the others place.. And honestly..It's just stupid. I find the people who never get labled and get away with everything..Are the ones with the darkes most courpt souls ever.." He looked back over at the horizon.."Oh, and thanks. You just squished the spider that was on my shoulder!" His face turned a diffrent shade and he actully... Laughed.
"That's strange...But yeah I guess everyone has some sort of issue. Life forgiving forgetting never trusting..Over activeness and being shy..Some just have it worse then others,sadly...Your sister seems cool though. "

Rin was surprised to hear that he would disagree about someone caring. But what surprised her more was that some of what Matt said seemed to be exactly what she had thought to herself earlier. Strange. "I dunno; the world seems to be cruel like that. But at least we're away from that now; that was one of the only reasons I actually agreed to come here in the long run. At least those fools won't come to my house to bug me this summer, even if we're stuck here." she agreed.
Upon hearing his sudden burst of laughter, she took a minute as to absorb why and looked at her hand, and jumped a bit in her seat. Sure enough, it was a dead spider in her palm. She looked at it oddly.
"I thought it seemed weird for your shoulder to be that harry and moving...." she murmured to herself as she peeled the squished dead spider that was on her hand, and threw it onto the deck instead of in the water. No need to pollute it.
"She's actually pretty awesome, if you take the time to get to know her. Sure, she can be moody sometimes, but it seems that all women are like that. She's just more moody than others, but with good reason. But don't get her mad; she's beyond fierce if you tick her off and push her buttons. Nearly choked a girl once....but with good intentions. Of course, that was Sakura's idea again. Darn pixie." Ken sighed.

"Your telling me things I already know. I can hear them outside our doorm.. Can't you?"Just as Andy asked that Matt began to speak.
"I have like no hair on my arms anyway so you should know.." he teased her as he rolled up his sleve and showed her his hairless arm. "Bad fire incadent singed it all off. I blame my twit for a step nrother. But yeah at least your souranded by people how have simalar things happening to them I've got a fairy on my shoulder then an rather gothic looking one on the other..."

Ken had honestly toned out the outside stuff, figuring that Matt wanted to be left alone for now. But now he could hear the talking; so THAT'S why Andy seemed to be only half-listening! He turned to the open door, where somewhere to the left and then outside was a deck, where he could hear Matt's voice, then Rin's.
Rin looked in an odd interest as she decided to touch with her pointer finger the hairless arm. "Wow, that's like freakishly smooth..." Rin murmured.
"But are you serious about the fairy thing, or are you just trying to make me feel better? I've yet to see you act weird due to it, and you can't see Sakura." Rin decided to ask blunty, not to insult him, but to find out the truth. She'd been lied to about that before, and it led to one downfall.
"Hm, guess I'll just let them be (you can see she's being moody again though); she's actually speaking to someone besides me for once, so that's a really good sign already. Hm, glad to see she's found someone she gets along with already!" Ken said, his voice now much more cheery as he looked in a mirror and brushed back some of the hair hanging in his face. It had bugged him long enough for him to finally fix it.

Matt clutched his arm, accidently hitting her hand.. "Sorry, I'm kidna tickliesh." He looked over at the ocean then to the boy's cabin. He waved at Ken and his smile faded. "Your brother's watching you and fidling wiht his hair.. He probably thinks I'm gonna rape you or something.." He said to Rin, "I'm only kidding.."
He finalyl relized she had asked him a qustion. "I'm not lying, when I was a kid I had it as well. But over time the people changed... When I wa slittle it was a dead bride..Skull waring a wedding dress is actully a wierd sight. Then when I got a bit older it was my dead girlfriend... Always telling me things like..I'll die anyways and I'm a hopeless nobody. Now..I have a postive one and a bad one, on my shoulders.."
"Haha you shouldn't watch them Matt might think you don't trust them alone together... You probably can considering she's younge then him and he knows well enough...Add in the dead girl factor and we've his the trifecta. SO you may not want to...I know that's not why your looking but still he might get the wrong idea and thing....Okay I'm repaeting myself..I think you get it.

As Matt spoke and clutched his arm in tickle-ish-ness, Rin glanced in the direction of the cabin; sure enough her brother was there, but his eyes were on the mirror, fixing his hair. She TOLD him it needed to be cut BEFORE coming here. Did he listen? Nope, and now it's gonna bug him in the wind. That is, unless there is a prank to pull, but he'd get all ticked if that happened. Oh well, his loss.
As the boy in front of her began to speak of his visions. "Did you rid yourself of them, or do you still have it? If not, how did you rid yourself of them?" she asked suddenly, which brought back Sakura. rin tured her head and looked though the solo eye as she landed on her shoulder and began to speak again, which after awhile turned to the expression of fear.
"Oh, CMON now, am I THAT bad, Rin? Gawd, sorry for trying to HELP you in this crud-ol-a place called earth at this time called life.
Besdies....what would you do without little ol' me?" she asked, laying on her shoulder stomach down and kicking her legs back and forth. She rested her head in her hands, elbows on the young girl, looking up at her for a moment, before shooting up and flying around the girl's face, her eyes slightly hypnotising and blood red.
"Let the kids keep picking on you and throw your name in mud? You know I'm your only defense against this world; you're too chicken to do anything drastic yourself. Besides, since mommy and daddy didn't care about you, what makes you think he won't join the club? He thinks you're mad, Rin, he's lying to you to make you happy. They all are, but they know you're a freak of nature! It's a trap; you gotta fight back! This has happened before, remember? Suzy-poo ring a bell?
This camp is going to do NOTHING to help you; it's the whole lab thing again, in a disguise. Humans are sneaky like that. You wanna have people scruentize you, take you for testing, try the excrosism and rid you of nothing? Listen here missy and listen good; You try to rid yourself of me and you'll be the next Emily Rose, or end up in a mental hospital. I'm not rid of so easily.
As for that woman I made you choke...they stopped picking on you, didn't they? Problem solved! But only with my help; you need to realize who's the master here!
Ken had stopped watching the window and sighed; while the kid Andy was being no help (he hadn't even thought the possibility of rape), he had a point. He should just trust Rin. "I suppose. I dunno though; she's gone too long without something bad happening..."
