She had him there. He chuckled hurrying after stopping when he could see the stream widening some. They were close for sure. The water was even getting deeper as he treaded and more difficult to wade threw.

She didn't notice he was having difficulties and sped up. The water was now to her chest and deepening, which was pleased her. Soon she would be able to swim.

Scorch felt the water getting deeper. It was a good thing he had learned how to swim, even if he didnt do it often and was not very good at it. He would have to be swimming soon. the creek was getting wider and wider and deeper. In the distance he could see the lake or pond. They were to far off to really tell what it was.

She was wading now, unable to touch the bottom. She moved ahead just a little more, then dove under.

Scorch found him self doggy paddling behind her. He dove under swimming in a very odd kind of struggle under the water. He felt his throat close up and bubbles spewed from his mouth. The quilava scrambled back to the surface for air shaking his hair dry some what as he gasped.
When he looked around he saw that they were in the very mouth of a nice sized lake. How had he not known this was here?

The Vaporeon girl could stay underwater much longer than he could. It was a few minutes later before she re-emerged, flicking her hair out of her eyes. A wide smile on her face, she turned around to face him, treading water. "Hey, I don't think I ever asked for your name~?"

Scorch paddled, slowly, towards her. She was right the two had never formally introduced them selves. The act of a gust of wind had twined them together on a quest to find a swimable body of water and they had done that with out so much introducing each other.
"Uhhh," He continued to paddle , "My names Scorch. Whats your name?" He inquired feeling a little embarrassed at the fact they had forgotten to do this.

She watched him paddle, an amused look on her face. It was kinda cute watching him struggle like that. Like a little puppy. She laughed. "Nice to meet you, Scorch. I'm Undine."

Scorch gave her a shy smile as he paddled towards her. " Undine, that name suits you well, " He chuckled ,"Seems we were named pretty much on our pokemon types just about." He treaded water, finally, reaching her. His thread was very messy and any one watching may have thought Scorch may have had something wrong with him.

She swam around him, her eyes never leaving him. "It seems we were," she replied, swimming up to him, looking up at him. Her swimming was much more graceful than his, but it was to be expected.

Scorch continued to kick, very ungracefully, keeping him self afloat. His eyes following hers as she swam around him. He had not noticed before but Undine was not only graceful in the water she was beautiful. He shook his thoughts shaking loose the attraction he felt for a moment.
Two hands he placed on the waters surface, sqeezing them together to make a jet of water spring forward. He playfully splashed her with the light get of water knowing she could easily out do him. Still was fun.

The jet of water he made made her grin. With a mischievous smile, she swung her tail back, then swiped it forward, sending a shower of water at him.

Scorch kinda just watched with wide eyes as a shower of water poured down on him. His wet hair now matted over his eyes again, the quilava grinned.
"Guess my water attacks need some work," He mused jokingly as he dived under water the best he could, swimming under her reemerging behind her with a slight chuckle. "Oi, I think I may be getting the hang of this ~"

She watched him swim, a smile on her face. Swimming close to him, she smoothed his hair off his forehead. "Yeah, I think you are," she laughed.

Scorch found him self blushing, with out meaning too he found him self leaning over ever so slightly kissing her on cheek. He backed away some, shyness kicking in, after. Afraid he may have over stepped her personal space.
