Damnation felt a little embarrassed because he was seriously considering taking up their offer of play. "I don't know...," he started but it didn't last long. "Instead of acting out the story, why don't we continue it? I could be Lord Azrael, come back to reclaim what was lost! Only, I'd go after both Raynia and her eldest daughter.. though I don't have horns.. for some reason. I'm pure but.. no horns. I have wings on my head like my mom. My brother Temptation.. he has the horns." He was rambling now but it was one of the few things that brought him down. His father had big horns and his brother's horns were huge too but for some reason, he had none. The head wings made him different but they seemed useless. They weren't big enough to be of much good.
"My name's Damnation," he said, shrugging to the best of his ability. "My father is Wrath, the biggest Kalona in the world."

Melos smiled at Ariel, before looking back toward Damnation when he spoke of not having horns. She hadn't quite noticed that he had wings behind his ears. Really she thought they were unique now that he had pointed them out to everyone, well to her at least. Stepping closer she tried to get a closer look at the wings before looking away in thought.
"true they may not be horns, but you are still lucky to have such things." She nodded looking back at Damnation. "I was born with no unique things like that. The only unique thing I have is my daddy's markings." She shrugged looking back to the swirly heart on her rump. "But I like the idea of continuing it. Who should play Raynia?"
Melos looked back toward the other fillies that were still there, knowing that she herself couldn't possibly play such a role. She wasn't tall enough, nor was she brave enough for it. Looking at Ariel, Melos tilted her head wondering if she wanted to play as well.
"Maybe you could be Raynia?" She stated questionably to Ariel, "You know her better then the rest of us I think..." She wasn't quite sure still, it was starting to get confusing as so many things were running around her head too fast there was bound to be a time when she would just stand there and stare before coming too again.

It made sense to the little filly that some might have their reasons not to fight. Still. . . It didn't seem very wise or smart of the adults to keep away from Azreal. Though some might have gotten hurt in such a duel, perhaps he would have left without any more mares getting eaten. "I still think they should have battled. . . " She agreed, crinkling her nose lightly at Ariel.
Maybe the world just needed to listen to her.
Listening to the angeni, it eased Zara's heart some that the the unicorn father was eased away from her own, Baldev. In the story it was easy to think that the two could have been one in the same, or at the very least, of the same blood line. Kin, perhaps, except her papa couldn't ever do anything to hurt them! Jaslyn wouldn't allow it. Her blue tipped tail swished back and forth as she imagined what it might have been like to be in Raynia's hooves. . .
To have a friend, to be in such a strict family she couldn't even go out and play much less see her friend. Hmm. . . . It certainly didn't paint a very pretty picture. Ariel was correct in comparing her ilfe to a life as a captive. . . "So there were two bad guys in the story, not just one! And you're right - my Papa, he may think he's the best but he's not at all mean like Raynia's papa!" She hastily explained, not wanting any of the foals to believe him bad or make some sort of comparison between the two. There was a lot of good in her blue furred father too. He was, thus far, her hero.
But the conversation was quick to turn towards a more postive note - games! Ooooooo Zara so loved to play but had no playmates of her own. Perhaps this day might change all that? "Even with wings on your head, you'll make a perfect Azrael! And you can be Raphael or . . or maybe the eldest filly has a boyfriend!" She giggled a bit, tail thrashing behind her.
"But . . . but what about the rest of us?" She glanced between Ariel, Melos and Darma. "I think Miss Ariel should play Raynia too!" She added with a little giggle, giving her mane a little shake. "But that still leaves the three of us!" And Zara was not going to give up a chance to play, thankyouvermuch! Not when she was this close to making new friends!

Ariel laughed but shook her head, "As darling as the invite is, I think I would much rather enjoy watching you all play. It would give me a chance to watch my own story continue on under the imagination of others. Perhaps one of you girls should play Raynia, and the other could possibly be the eldest daughter? But don't let that limit you. As with any story, new characters could come forth or even new villains. Perhaps even a love interest for Lord Azrael. There's no limit to what could present itself in a story."
Another laugh came forth as Damnation made a disgusted face at the mentioning of a love interest for Azrael. Oh, how that would change when he grew up and he saw girls in a different light.

Ouriel nodded. Continuing the story sounded like a good idea. "You girls should hurry up and pick roles," he said impatiently, standing up and pacing around the clearing. "It doesn't matter who plays what, does it? Nobody has to play Raynia, either," he added, standing still again. He looked across to Damnation again, taking note of the wings on his head. "And you, you don't have to have horns to play, do you? Just pretend with what you have."

"Well I'm the smallest here, so I could play her eldest daughter, Zara, how about you be Raynia?"Melos suggested eying the horn that was on her forehead. "You do look the part after all, with the horn you have. I don't know, but if Darma wants to be the eldest Daughter, Maybe his lord ship," She glanced over toward Damnation, "Could perhaps have a child that he was taking on hunting trips?"
It was just an off and she had many ideas, though she didn't really look the part of a Kalona. Maybe she could make something to fit more of the part? Sure she couldn't grown horns or wings, but she could possibly get some sticks and put them in her mane to make them look like horns. The possibilities were endless, but the whole thing was making her shake with excitement. Shake so badly that her hooves were stomping the ground, oh yes, she was itching to get started and see where all this was going to go.

Zara gave Ariel a little grin, her tail swishing happily. "I don't how fun watching is but. . . maybe we can talk you in to playing later. You can be some elder or soemthing!" She gave a shake of her head and looked back at the group before them.
Snorting softly, though her eyes danced with good humor, she eyed the feather-winged Ouriel. "No need to be so impatient! We're workin' on it. The last I remember Mr. Rapheal wasn't the impatient sort. . . dear." She giggled again, excited that she'd get to play all sorts of make believe things and not just with one other soquili but a whole herd!
This was going to be brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!
Inwardly pleased she got to play such an important role as portraying Miss Raynia, Zara shook out her mane and took a few fanciful steps around, as if to get in her role. So she had a family now and a loving mate, which she assumed was going to be Mr. Furry Wings over there, and now Azrael was out on the loose again! "Whichever one you want to be will be fine, Melos," Zara grinned, just as excited by this game of make-believe. "Darma can fill the role of the one you don't choose to be or make a new part too!"
Tail swishing, she trotted off away from the others, as if to set the scene. Throwing back her mane, she paused now and then to feign grazing. "What a lovely day for a walk. . . " It was the most logical, considering she had no idea where her hero and make-believe mate was at. Or even if Ouriel was going to show up playing Raphael! "I wonder where my daught is at, or my most beloved." She mimicked the stories she'd heard of old as well as the pet names her parents used upon one another.
Glancing over at the others, she continued her 'happy grazing' and waited to see what they might do.

Ouriel swallowed a groan as the filly tested her role and managed to make himself watch as she began. Now was no time for chickening out! Raphael was equal parts lover and warrior, wasn't he? And his strength stemmed from his love, so... he gulped and briefly wondered what he was getting himself into as he tucked his wings as closely to his body as he could manage.
Taking a deep breath to bury his nerves, he trotted to Zara and quickly nudged his head to hers in attempted affection. "Hello, darling!" He squeaked, wincing at the sound of his own voice. He swallowed again and restarted. "It's quite the lovely day, isn't it?" Oh no, now he was talking about the weather. "How are you feeling?" Ouriel asked, changing directions once again. Ooh, he was never doing this again.

Damnation marched about, a little bit away from the others. "I'm in the mood for hearts! I wonder if the mare that got away is still around. I bet her heart is as yummy as her father's." He stomped around a bit more, pretending to be on a journey, "Now.. where exactly was that clearing?" The little kalona marched around a bit more before turning and walking towards 'Raynia' and 'Raphael'. Ew, they were acting lovey dovey. Well, he better put a stop to that.
"I am Lord Azrael and I have come to claim the mare that got away. There is a ritual to be had and a heart to eat! Maybe I'll take your eldest daughter and kill you, Raphael as well! You did break my beloved horn long ago and you still need punished for it. RAAAAAWWWWWWWWWR!"

Melos had looked around, but it seemed that someone was mising. Shrugging, she slid over to be near Zara and the other colt. Shaking out her mane some, letting her tail twitch, Melos took up the roll of eldest daughter. Not really wanting to leave the hole in the story. She paced around and tried walking upon her hind legs being all cute and everything. Looking over she giggled as Damnation paced back and forth, then came over toward where they were.
Puffing out her chest a little, Melos watched the Kalona marching over to stand somewhat under Zara, as she was small enough after all. Hot pink eyes watched Damnation as he played the evil one from the story, though she giggled at his acting, it seemed more funny then scary to her. But she gave a frown and almost scared look as he approached, muttering and declaring about coming after the one that got away.
"Mommy," Melos muttered looking up at Zara, "Is he the one you told stories about and Daddy came to your rescue?" her eyes going sorta dreamy like at the thought of a handsome stallion coming to the rescue, oh she could get into this.

((Just to keep the RP rolling. ^^; Feel free to jump in whenever Yayoi! ))
Zara did her best to stifle her delighted giggles at such game. Darling. She had been called darling! Oooooooh - it must be nice to be in love if it made her smile just by playing pretend! It really was a shame that Miki hadn't shown up - she would have loved the role of Raynia and her princely stallion savior! Zara hoped to remember all the details to recite he tail to her sisters and mother, to see how they responded to the great story. Finally, for once Miki would get to listen to the tale while she, Zara, got to recite such prose!
And to think she was representing such a famed unicorn. By golly, there really was no better mare in the world to fulfil such an honor. Zara
was beautiful. . . Maybe someday she'd be rescued by a stallion someday too! What bigger compliment was there than love and life-threatening devotion?
Tail wagging a bit behind her, she made sure to nudge Ouriel too - oooo, good thing Papa wasn't around! He'd likely throw a fit to see her
acting so. "It is the most beautiful day, especially with you and our daughter around." Ha. It was easy. . . . She heard her parents
enough, all she had to do was recite the lines! But . . . but wait. . . .
Ears pricking, she reached down to nose at the little usidia, voice falling to a whisper. "Pssshhh," she summoned softly, "What's your name gonna be?" Maybe the little pink Melos could clue them in soon as she thought of something proper. The eldest daughter of Raynia and the ever suave Rapheal surely couldn't be called 'Melos'. It didn't fit. It had to start with R!
But then, here came the vicious enemy. Eyes going wide, ears flattening, Zara did her best to look overly dramatic and shocked. "Its'
you~!" She declared, taking a step closer to Ouriel but also a protective stance over their lil' 'darling baby'. "You stay back, meanie evil face! If you dare come closer you'll regret it!" She gave her head a little shake, as if to look intimidated. "I'm not afraid of you no more. Not with Rapheal here." That sounded threatening and mean, didn't it? Raynia surely couldn't be so weak a second time around. Not with a family to protect. . . Even if it were against a great nightmare like Azrael.
