opaj shook his head. His only response was, "I think we may have done a bad thing. A very bad thing."
He felt numbed. A genuine, internal numb, not the numb of the now-departed Unity Field. His blades were out, and they would stay out, until he could determine whether or not Draug was a threat to them.

"I was going to guess sand," Gaby said, "and...blow up? Is that what Bleu is talking about? So we need to get out of here in an hour and a half."
She was glad for Angel's encouragement, realizing that they had enough time to get out of the city before something bad happenned.
She thought for a moment, then said "Do you all think that what happenned to the GodQueen just now could have been the same thing that happenned to all of the people in the city? And is she really dead, or is there some way to bring her back?"

"Just perfect," Angel mumbled under her breath. They were all going to die for a stupid mistake. Bloody hell perfect. "At least I have clothing. I won't have to die naked."
Her blue orbs were still fixed on the two fighting. "Maybe we should just zap them."
Gaby's words penetrated her own thoughts though. Maybe that is what happened to the people in the city. It would make sense.

"No, I don't think that could be it," opaj said to Gaby. "If that's what happened, then wouldn't there be piles of clothes lying everywhere? She left her dress behind, at least..."
Glancing at Bleu, he waved a farewell. "Maybe she'll intervene, but we can't count on it. We'd better get a move on, because..."
Almost an hour had passed since Sullivan had issued his warning.

"I think you're right," Gaby said to Opaj. "And what Bleu just said makes my thoughts seem less probable. If the GodQueen already knew what would happen to her if she died, she would not have been wondering this whole time what happenned to her people."
EDIT: "Ok, we need to get out of here. We've wasted enough time already," Gaby said as she walked in the direction they had come into the irrigation sewers from.

"I'll follow, but what about the rest of them, and... those two?" Lazenca nodded his head to the other guys. "They should probably come, if nothing but so they don't die when whatever happens, happens." But the way things seemed to be going, everyone had a plan to get out of dodge. Either/or, y'know?
He folded his arms. "More people becoming gods. She'd gonna be maaaaad at y'all for killing her, y'know."

Bleu waves goodbye "Maybe I'll see ya round. You could come to the helicopters with us if you want" Bleu starts jogging towards the nearest exit and will end up at the water plant.

"Yeah, we've only got thirty minutes to live, so we better try to make the most of it." Angel tried to make a joke about the time going by so quickly. "If the GodQueen has ascended I'm sure she has an idea what has happened to her people, maybe.." It seemed like a reasonable thought.
She followed behind Gaby. "I didn't do anything to her," she directed that comment towards Lazenca.

Spooky stepped into the hole in the wall and as a result, in the newest tubing area.
He grinned and raised his rifle at the group of folks chatting not too far ahead of him, and past them it was apparent there were some more feet. A wall of bodies and a not so wall of body.
Without another word, he took aim down the EOTech and opened fire, shooting repeated three round bursts into the "crowd". Spooky was going to continue to do this until they stopped moving or twitching or he emptied the magazine of all thirty rounds. It would take roughly fifteen to twenty seconds for it to empty completely.
He didn't need a reason, they simply were there, it wasn't his job to use any sort of discretion.
