Power up would not remain from combat to combat. Just till the end of the current combat. But since you rolled with the power up’d combat die let’s just keep it please.

Still in his Indiana Jones garb, 4 Co. pays no attention to the combat nor to any of the participants. Suddenly appearing out of thin air is a gravity DeLorean driven by a younger looking 4 Co. in late 80's clothing. Long streaks of fire are left in its wake as it smashes head on into a mist beast. "This isn't good Marty, we've messed with events in this time line. Who knows what kind of disastrous changes we've caused." The gravity DeLorean states in a manner similar to Kit from Nightrider. The 4 Co. driving has a shocked expression, as it stares at the beast. "What have I done? I'm kicking it into reverse." Going backwards at a very high speed it vanishes just like it had entered, reigniting the flames it made on entering.

4 Co. I’m hoping you meant to do all that stuff to beast 4 because I had already pounced and killed beast 3. So I’m going to go ahead and just move everything over to beast 4, hope it’s alright, I’m figuring that was a type.

Varnis: power up stays till the end of combat but not into the next combat. But we should stick with combat this time since it was with your dice roll. You will still deal good damage with the roll you made.

Van, I’m disregarding your spirit bracer use since you are not even being attacked and the battle is already over.

All the monsters are pounced and could not deal any damage. (nice)

Van attacks MB1 (team attack of 11 – 5 defense = 6 + 2 combat = 8 )
Van attacks MB1 (attack of 7 – 5 = 2 + 6 (average since second die was not rolled) combat = 8 damage)

Yes I moved a couple of my attacks, but we would have won in the end no matter what and without taking any damage so let’s just move this along. All the calculations should be correct.

This one is for the fountain of magic, and the number of monsters we have to fight. (First is fountain, 1 is success just like with what Parrian did, second is the number of monsters + 2)

OK, same number of monsters, I’m so going to do the same exact thing I did last round, will post that soon. And we found the fountain of magic again!!!

And for the ancient pillar?
No pillar yet, so we can continue with the next fight.

(Now that we are at the fountain I would like to go ahead and purchase my die charge token, I will also throw in the elixir and spend 100 chips on taunt to give to the token as well as stunning blow. I am also going to recharge my energy sword and spirit bracer.)

As chaotic as the droid's distractions were, Van was glad that it's destruction was aimed at the monsters and not the rest of the group.

A few paces on, the cave took a sudden abrupt turn and Van found himself standing next to the fountain. It's glass smooth surface and ice blue waters gave of a gentle glow that illuminated the cavern around them. Van could feel that this place was connected very strongly with the pneuma, the water was steeped in it.

The fountain's pristine pool, Van noted, made a perfect mirror, he could see his face starring back at him. Van stepped closer to the pond and dipped the idle handle of his light sword into the fountain, gently breaking through it's smooth surface. The small power level readout on its side rose from minimal levels to full capacity within moments of contacting the water.

Van was turning to leave when he noticed something odd out of the corner of his eye. His reflection, it hadn't moved, he was sure of it. He snapped his head back to look the watery visage full on and saw... only his face staring back at him. Van moved closer to the pool's surface, his reflection again matching his movements perfectly. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. He was starting to think his imagination was at the root of all this when his mirror image suddenly smirked at him. In an instant the fountain water erupted upwards in front of him, drenching Van, and blinding him. He could feel panic rising up in his throat, but he quickly tried to choked it down. Through his gnosis the boy could feel a presence settle just behind his shoulders. Van swung about ready to wallop anyone who might be behind him. But his fist never connected with anything. He wiped the water from his eyes to get a look, but saw nothing. Van frantically turned completely around to face the water again, suspecting that whatever it was shared some connection with the fountain. But the pool's surface was as placid as when they first arrived, Van even found that he was no longer wet. There was not so much as a ripple at the water's edge to lend credence to Van's vivid recollection of the water's violent upsurge. And his reflection was once again a mirror to his every move. Van reached out with his gnosis trying to pinpoint the presence that he had just felt, but still nothing. No matter how hard he concentrated he could divine no trace of whatever force that had caused this.

Van turned to the others, Did any of you... He started to ask if any of them had seen anything, but stopped. A quick look at their expressions was enough to assure him that they had not. Could this all have just been in my mind? Van thought to himself. He did not like how unsettled this mystery had made him.

Then Van' senses picked up the very physical presence of more cave monsters. Moments later the beasts were upon the group. Shaking off the doubts from earlier, he entered the fray with Nuku, lightsword in hand.

Varnis jumped right in not letting everyone else steal the action. Attacking the first creature he saw, he slashed at it, and increased his strength hoping to deal the most damage as possible.
