" oh yesh most definatly he will." laughing he knew his father would freak a bit. but as for Dafina's father he had no clue how he would react and knew eventualy he would have to meet him. " hopefuly he will be fine with us being together and having foals. i rathher not have a angry father chasing me down!" flicking his tail, the image of dafina's father chasing his down made him chuckle to himself.

Nuzzling his cheek, she giggled again. "I doubt he'll chase you down. At least not for very long anyway." Shaking her head, she giggled some more. "Nah, I'm sure my father will be really happy to learn he's a grand father. He might feel a bit out of the loop for a bit, but he'll catch up I'm sure." Glancing around, Dafina tried to spot her mother once more but did not see the dark mare anywhere. Letting out a small sigh, she would have liked to say good bye before they left, but she'd see Firefly again. Turning to Ramus again, she nodded to him. "Shall we go then?"

" hehe i hope so." Ramus though was happy her mother approved of it all and would break the news to her father. nuzzling her after she gave a sigh, he then nodded. " sure." hopefuly it wouldn't take a whole lot of time finding his father.

She started walking once more, though letting him lead the way mostly. Dafina cast one last glance back to her mother's home, still hoping to catch a glimpse of her but still she saw nothing. But she had the feeling Firefly was watching her from somewhere. Her mother would always be watching her, even if she was no where around to be seen.
Hoping the trip to find his father once again wouldn't take too long, Dafina's mind swirled about in thought. Life mating with Ramus, their future babies and what they would be and look like. It certainly was a new adventure to be had.

Ramus pretty much lead the way and let his mind wander at bit. life was definatly going to be way different with foals on the way. he wondered if he was going to be a father but he figured his own father had simular thoughts when his mother Seirra had ended up preggo. mind still thinking about it all, he didn't realize how long they been walking when he noticed his father laided out in the grass. unexpectedly he started laughing at that.
Raum got to his feet quickly when he heard laughter and knew it was his son's as many times he had chased ramus who laughed while being chased. looking in his direction he was suprised to see dafina with him and even more surpised they where seeking him out so soon.

Ramus' laughter snapped Dafina out of her thoughts. Her gaze landing upon Raum who seemed to have been just lazing about in the grass. When he jumped to his hooves he seemed a bit shocked and caught off guard. The look on his face made her giggle lightly. "Taking a bit of a nap are you?"

Raum grunted and wrinkled his nose. " you could say that." as a colt he had te habit of laying out in the grass when bored and he still did that at times. eyeing them both, he would courious what they two where up to. " so what are you two doing here?"
Ramus stopped his laughter and masked a snicker with a grunt. " err well Dafina and i got something to tell you which is why we came looking for you again so soon." giving a weak grin, his father would be quick to know what was up with just that hint.

She had stopped laughing by now. A serious look washing over her face as she looked at Ramus briefly. "You want to tell him or should I?" If he wanted to tell Raum what was up that was fine. And if he wanted her to say it, well--that was all fine and dandy as well. Either way he was going to find out soon anyways. So it probably didn't matter who told him at this point.

" i suppose i should tell him." Ramus then was serious himself and gave a soft grunt. " well dad you first got to promise not to freak out on me about what i'm about to tell you." he gave a weak grin at his father as he waited for a reasponce before contiuning.
Raum raised a brow and wondered what could cause them to get so serious. but with the hint he already had his answer adn only just needed it confermed by ether one of them telling him. snorting he glared at his son. " you know im hot headed i can't promise to keep my cool but i can try." staring at him he waited.
Ramus shook his head then glaced at Dafina before staring his father right in the eyes. " well you and mother are now grandparents and Dafina and i are mates."
Raum was left speachless and didnt utter a word. he had only just met Dafina not long ago, and he had not expected them to move so fast. realizing he been silent too long he grunted. " i sure in hell hope you two ready for the reasponsablity and i know ramus your mother will be pleased to hear this. never thought you would settle down this fast. looks like i'll be known as grandpa from now on eh?" shaking his head he chuckled to himself now knowing how his own father must of felt like when being told he was a grandfather out of the blue.

He seemed to have taken it well. She was relieved. Dafina didn't really need any stress of Raum freaking out. Not now anyway. Though she was surprised Ramus just spit it out like that. She would of figured he'd of eased into it. But better to get it over with then tip toe around it she supposed.
A light smile came to her lips again. "No ones ever ready for kids. You might think you are but once it happens you just have to fly by the seat of your pants really." Tilting her head, she thought about what he mentioned about settling down this fast. Her own parents took a long time in courtship. From what Firefly had told her. But Dafina knew in her heart that being with Ramus was the right thing. What her heart wanted. And it hadn't wanted to wait. And what the heart wants, after all.

" you dont need to be telling someone like me as i know how kids can end up being unexpected and change your life." Grunting Raum knew it all too well as him and his mate Seirra had Ramus and Romulos well before deciding to become mates after the fact of the little surpise of becoming parents. flicking his tail he knew better than to stress the two any more than they where with being pretty much unexpected parents and he was glad they both came and told him.
Ramus really was never one to beat around the bush specialy when with his father usualy. grinning, he knew him and dafina and gone a bit fast in deciding to be together but it felt right. " now don't be worring old man. i beleive Dafina and i can handle this though we will be sure to place you and grandpa on babysitting duty!" smirking, he teased though he seriously felt him and dafina would manage fine if their parents gave them advice and help.

Dafina pursed her lips. She should have known better than to preach like that, perhaps, to Raum. He was correct. Him and his mate of course were more experienced than her and Ramus with that fact. But she wasn't quite fond of being questioned whether or not they knew what kind of responsibility came with having foals. Its not like she hadn't been a foal herself and put her own parents through some grief. Even now as an adult there had been something, but that part was out of her hands at the time.
Ramus' light hearted jab made her smile. A bit more easy now with it all. At least he could keep tension from gathering into the air in certain situations. Especially dealing with his father. And that was one of the reasons why she loved him. He could always toss out the humor when things seemed to get a bit sticky.

Ramus smirked at Dafina then eyed his father. he rather not allow any tension or fighting though he himself did like to cause some verbal fights but only to a certian degree then he would stop. tossing his mane he laughed as his father rolled his eyes at him. " what not happy to be playing babysitter sooon?!"
Raum snorted and rolled his eyes. " if you say so Ramus but be sure to come with me at some point and time to tell your mothher and brother that your expecting cause i don't think your mother will be happy if you don't tell her yourself." flicking his tail, he tossed his mane. " for now though i'll leave you two to talk or whatever as i think i took enough of your time."
" i know i know." Ramus snorted and knew he would have to tell the rest of the family. " alright old man" snickering he nuzzled dafina.

Nuzzling him back, she was kind of glad this little visit was over. Dafina had grown a bit tired just standing here and really felt like she needed a good rest. They had been on the move constantly for the past couple of days. Visiting her mom and then Raum. Closing her eyes, she leaned lightly against Ramus. "It was nice to see you again, Raum. Perhaps next time I see you I'll have some grand babies tagging along for you to play with."

if raum was a human he would of waved a hand as he walked off. " it's been a pleasure and i'll be sure to get to see them. wouldn't wanna miss it." smirking to himself, he left the two alone and decided to think on things.
" you want to rest before we do anything else Dafina?" Ramus allowed her to lean up against him lightly which he didnt mind at all. smiling he had no problems allowing her to rest before doing anything else as she was preggo after all.
