He smiles at Nate and hands a card to him, "Er..." he instead hands it to Talner, "It's got my personal number on it if you want to get a hold of me Nate."

Nate's smile slipped a bit at the reminder that paper burned around him, but he grinned at his new friend. "Thanks!" He turned to his father, who smiled slightly at the boy. The man pocketed the card for safekeeping.
"Guess we'd better get going, little buddy." Talner turned to the other boy. "Thank you for helping him."

Halcyon smiles at Talner, "Any time...once I'm better myself I plan to put in to be a teacher for the scroll children as it is."

Nate smiled. "You're better than that scary woman..." He'd like to have Hal as a teacher. Much nicer of a boy!
Talner was in agreement there. "I'm sure that lady's a good teacher, but she's not exactly the best for beginner students, it seems..." Or for slow ones, either. But the man kept that comment to himself to keep from upsetting Nate.
The two waved to Halycon as they headed onward to do their shopping and then to head home.

He nods as the head off, then he turns to look to the store he was here for and laughs as he watches the grating slide down, "Ah well, I'll come back tomorrow." he shakes his head and makes his way back outside, where he revs up his motorcycle and heads on back to the Vinataro Hotel.
