"Mai-chan! There you are!" Deidara called running over and placing a hand on Mai's shoulder.
Mai got slightly annoyed by his hand, but showed no signs of it. "Yeah, yeahh." Mai said, waving a hand in his direction, intending to be rude.
"Itachi-san, why are you such a hard-a**? Lighten up a bit, live a little. Or umm..." Mai stopped, remembering the last time Itachi had lightened up.
Drunk of sake, of course. Scariest thing Mai ever saw happen.
Mai shook the thought clear from her head. Too disturbing.. She thought to herself.

"Oi, Itachi." Ryu had been following Itachi for a while, waiting to put a small piece of something into place. It wasn't a prank...not exactly...because it was so open.
Itachi stared at the girl with white hair. "What is it now? Don't think I'll run from you."
"Oh no, I don't want to fight you. Just have a drink." Ryu held out a bottle to him.
"If you're the one offering it, then it's sure to be bad."
"Oh, but it's compliments from Tobi." Ryu fake smiled at the raven haired Uchiha.
Itachi blinked, then took the bottle. "Well, why the hell not? You've done worse things to me before." And drank the whole thing.
His body went still for a minute, then went sprinting over the next hill laughing.

Mai sweatdropped, and groaned.
Deidara started laughing. "There's a drunk Itachi for ya. Right, then. Mai, train. Go catch him."
Mai froze, and turned slowly towards Deidara, with a glare forming. "F-follow that!? That's scarier than when you steal Kakuzu's money from him...." Mai said, shuddering at the thought of a money-less Kakuzu.
"Aw. Not scared, are ya, un?" He teased.
Mai pouted. "No...but he's drunk... and... and..." Mai saw Deidara's unpassing face and groaned again, before sprintind off after Itachi. But not without a wave to her friends, and yet another glare sent in Deidara's direction.

rin burst out laughing. she loved it when itachi was drunk. after thanking everybody she went back to her room. she was off the hook for today.

Ryu attempted at cheering up Mai. "Don't worry about it. It's not sake that he drank, it's Tobi's tomato soup. I'll help you, and back you up if ya need it."
((Meh, WB. A friend of mine wrote a fanfic about this, and I couldn't help but involve it!))

rin sat in her room trying to block out all the noise. she was tired.after many failed attemtps she went into the kitchen were she found tobi. she quickly left.

Katsu gazed out from the protection of his Akatsuki's high-collared cloak and sighed.He saw the Hidden Leaf Village which he had abandonded so many years ago,Three, he thought,Three years since I've seen my own village.
He shrugged and turned to walk away.He was right in front of the base in a matter of seconds.He stepped inside,"Anyone home?" he asked,half a joke.

"I heard the word money and my name...You can't hide it from me. Tell me what you're planning..."
Kakuzu's body suddenly fell from a tree close to Mai, being upside down on a branch thanks to Chakra Concetration. Kakuzu had five hearts currently and some hearts had a better adeptive to Chakra Concentration, such as the Mask of Wind. Kakuzu was usaully drawn to the sound of money or the mention of it. He had a very selective hearing, often only paying attention trully when the words money, riches, cash, or several types of metals. Sometimes he ignored the words, but say it with his name involved and its a stick of dynomite with a short fuse being lit. Kakuzu was originally up in that tree meditating, blocking all noise to get a better path of thought, but then he heard:
Quote: "B-blah blah!? Blah's blah blah blah bla blah Kakuzu's money blah bla..."

Mai never noticed Kakuzu resting in the tree, and when he jumped down beside her, she jumped. No, literally jumped. She clung to Deidara, freaking out when she saw Kakuzu.
Then, she let go of Deidara, finally calming down. "Oh wow. Scared me there.." She said, after regaining her composture.
"Oh, uhm. It's nothing. Just Itachi got drunk, and ran off, so I just said, following him when he's drunk is worse than stealing your money. That's all." Mai explained hurriedly.

"Itachi can never hold his liquor well...The kid is a light weight when it comes to drinking."
Kakuzu dropped from the tree and turned just quick enough to land on his feet. Normally it would be hard for someone to land on their feet from such a short distance, but the Wind Mask helped lower gravity for a duration of time so he could better control his landings.
"I see you are training or pulling pranks? To me pranks can serve as training, just make sure not to do the same pranks unless you have failed them. Failure is the only time you learn, succeed and you learn nothing."
Kakuzu decided to watch them with their training, to see their technique for future referance. Taking a seat against the tree he came down from, he set his eyes on the group for observation.

"R-right...yeahh.. uhm.. okay." May stuttered, trying to escape. But Deidara held her from leaving.
"You've still got a bit of training, hm?" He stated, and smirked. "I'm not going to go easy on you, this time."
"Hmph. Try your best. Maybe you'll learn, like Kakuzu said. Failure is the only time you learn." Mai said, smirking a little to herself.
Deidara looked shocked for a minute, before recovering from his stupor. Clay ready, he made a few sculptures, and realeased them, straight at Mai.
Mai quickly dodged them, then appeared behind Deidara, with a kunai pressed to his throat. "I thought you weren't going to go easy on me..?" Mai asked smugly, then was flipped by Deidara, onto her back.
"Don't underestimate your opponent, un." He said.
Mai looked shocked for a minute, before disappearing through the ground beneath her. She then came from behind Deidara, once more, and reached her hand into his collar, touching the skin on his neck. He then fell to the ground, in a faint.
Mai raised an eyebrow, then sighed. She shrugged her shoulders, and left him there, this time, and headed back inside. Finally, she could start on the master trick. All she had to do was find Tobi.

Kakuzu gave out a sigh and a grumble as he stood up from a tree. He hated it when he was left to clean up after anything, especially if he wasn't getting paid. Kakuzu unconnected his right hand andd placed it on Deidara's collar. The black wire attaching both is hand and wrist shined brightly from the reflection in the sun. Kakuzu walked towards the base with Deidara being dragged behind him. Like usaul, he would stop just as the entered the base and leave the guy there to wake up. Kakuzu was really intrested ind what Mai was planning with Tobi. It wasn't his money that trully made him worry, it was something else in his safe. eep within it was a chest, holing his most prized possesion. Kakuzu carried the key to it at all times, within his own chest cavity. What was in the chest only Kakuzu knew, not even the boss of the Akatsuki knew what was inside. Kakuzu needed to see if that was what they were after, even if not, he still didn't want them touching his money with their grubby fingers.

Deidara woke up, resting against the front of the base. The sun was blaring down on him, and he used his hand to steady him as he pushed himself up. What had happened?
Oh yeah. That girl. Mai. She had knocked him out. Again. For the second time today.
That girl is extremely strong... we'd better be careful of her.. Deidara thought cautiously to himself, before disppearing through the base door.
Mai glared at Tobi. He'd gotten the tomatoes ready, but made a huge mess. Mai sighed, and ushered Tobi out of the kitchen; one place he was hardly ever allowed in. She groaned and pushed him faster, grabbing the basket of tomatoes before he hit a wall. He fell to the ground whining, and Mai showed an anime vein. She held up her fist and wacked Tobi over the head, leaving a huge bump.
"C'mon Tobi! No time for your antics..." Mai said, running off down the hallway, with Tobi following her in a clumsy fashion. He was running, or at least, trying to. He kept running into walls, with his dizzy state from the recent collision with the wall. But, oh boy, was this jke a good one. The pain was worth it.
And trust me. There will be pain.

Tatsuki traveled through the sand continent towards Konoha thinking "I wonder what has happened since i left. I've been hearing rumors but these sources are bland ant best. It's been two years and this sudden talk of some group called the..what was it...Akatsuki, and also the uprising of one of Konoha's Sanin Orochimaru, it's crazy."
Pushing up his glasses closer to his face, Tatsuki sighed and continued to travel to his destination, not sure of what he would find.
