Rimi smiled at Suki as she bowed in response, too engrossed in the situation to notice anything else that was going on around her. Then, she was hugged. "Yip!" She let out a suprise yell, but then started laughing at the pure insanity of this happy fox on top of her. Laughing again, she managed a "thank you."
Then she noticied that something was missing, someone was gone. She looked around and noticied Rayna, hiding behind Kirai. Carefully getting up, she moved away from under Suki and over towards Rayna, her own tail bowed down. Rayna appeared distraught, crying. "Rayna, are you okay?" She asked, scared for her friend. What could've done this to her, what could've hurt me friend? She nuzzled Rayna softly. "It's okay, tell me what's wrong." She cared deeply for her friend, and yet her she stood, tears sloping down her face.

Kirai smiled as he watched the two females play. Rimi had seemed fine that Suki had hugged her so he wasn't really worried anymore.
He was suddenly startled when something wet landed on his tail. He turned around slowly, and only to see Rayna weeping. His eyes widened before he blinked. "R-Rayna, what's the matter?" He asked in surprise. He had a feeling of what was wrong though, he was always told hiss facial features are easy to read, but he couldn't be completely sure.

Rayna stood up and turned away. "You both know exactly what's wrong" She padded over to the fan and lay in front of it. She thought it would cool her down but it didn't. She made sure they couldn't see her face as she cried.
I thought I could've won. I'm such a fool. Stupid winged foxes. He wanted her and he barely met her! She growled from where she was and made sure they heard it.

Kirai had joined her and she felt his presence just next to her. Her hair gently stood on end, and she couldn't help but enjoy the feeling. Then her attention was dragged back to Rayna as she lumbered off toward the fan.
Looking down she felt ashamed that her friendship had come to this. Have I really lost you? She wondered. Is this world an eye for an eye, or is there hope for a different ending?
NO! Her mind shouted. This will end differently! Stalking up to Rayna, she looked her straight in the eyes. "You are my best friend and nothing that has happened here should change our friendship. You offered up the competition and it was obvious that this was going to end badly one way or the other. Please, I beg of you, don't think unhighly of us for what has transpired as your love for us both, that has grown for so long shouldn't be given up upon so easily. I love you." She stared straight at Rayna as she said this, hoping that something within the other fox would be moved by her comments.
