Rose looked at him in surprise, but she then got a shocked look on her face, and then she grabbed the book, feeling as if it were her natural energy. To her, it felt evil. Like those people perhaps killed innocents for no reason. She threw the book into the tree which was on fire.

The book exploded in a flash of light before it hit the tree, and appeared again above James. It fell and hit him on the head. He sighed, and flipped through the book to find a water spell. He pointed his palm at the tree and muttered: "Omni Maximus Hydro Orbis Luminoct" And a burst of water flew out of his palm and dowsed the tree.

"Whoa! Don't shoot me!" He said, holding up his hands in a sign of surrender. He muttered "Aero Anhile Bentidoct" under his breath for a shield made out of hardened air to stop the bullet incase he fired. The shield, since being made out of air, was invisible.
