Xesni huffed, wanting to follow the older lions, but staying put because of his mother's warning. He could've at least done some damage to the older male... right? He could've, like, scratched his eyes out or something. 'Oh, being small sucks,' he thought, laying down with his head on his paws. If only he was bigger, then he could help Mom out.
His tail wrapped around his little body. His coloring helped him to blend into the ground and surrounding dried grass, which was good for hiding from birds and other such creatures. Sighing, he closed his eyes, ready to just drift off to sleep for now.
