"Huh? Uh?" Kenji stuttered as he was too caught up admiring the stars and Ziva. "Whahh?" he continued when she stood up and spoke gibberish to him. It was probably something saying they had to get home, and it was getting late, or something like that. Surprisingly, this made him really upset. He found himself nodding but not saying anything. He just nodded. When would he see her again? It had been such a great day, he wanted to have this much fun every single day of his life.
"Ziva..." he said. He liked the sound of her name when he said it in his voice. "I had so much fun with you, and maybe one day you can teach me how to get wings like you!" he said. "So maybe I can be pretty like you.. Like.. a pretty stallion. But not girly pretty! But... pretty." he toyed around with the word in his head, trying to find the word 'handsome' which was what he really meant to say but couldn't find the word. He was only rambling now. He waited to see what would happen next.

Ziva couldn't hold back the giggles any longer. Her mind was crowded with images of Kenji as a stallion covered with bows and flowers from head to toe. "Don't worry Kenji, I'll do the best I can to help you look.....pretty." She snickered knowing that the poor colt was actually trying to say 'handsome' but she just couldn't pass up the opportunity to mess with him a bit before she had to go find her mother and go home. The starry filly nuzzled her friend and then turned to leave, hoping that she could see him again some time in the future.

Kenji stood in the sand and tilted his head to one side. It was only when Ziva stood up to leave that he woke from his spacing out and took in the last thing she had said. He frowned and trotted on the spot. What does she mean? Help me look pretty?!? Is she mocking me? He wanted to go after her and ask her, but the content smile Ziva had had on her face was the last thoughts he wanted of her, if they never met again. His face turned somber at the thought and his knees went weak. Nah, that would never happen. He assured himself.
"Ziva!" he called, looking at the beautiful filly walk away. "See you later butterfly girl!" he said and turned around off to his home. He couldnt help but grin at the wonderful day he had. Ziva was the coolest filly he'd ever met! He looked up at the sky and smiled at the brightest star. I will never forget you...
