now, the pictures I REALLY want, so if anyone happens to find them, I would be SOOOOOOO happy! and I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
I want the rose at the end when it is a photograph and the candle is burning infront of it, and I want it when it's just zooming in on it on the grave before its a photo..... and yea, that is my goal.... some sort of an above shot or somethign so you can see the ribbon clearly 3nodding

Ah. I loved the new movie. I dragged 3 unwilling guys with me, and one of them is now a fan : ) I can't say much for the other 2 though.
Anyway! I thought Emmy Rossum was lovely, her voice was just astounding. I can't believe she was only 17 when she recorded that. Gerard Butler did a good job too, i thought, though the critics won't shut up. Raoul was ok, i just hold so much hatred towards him. It always seemed that Christine loved Erik with so much more....everything. An excellent film.

Was it only in my local theatre, or did you also see a bunch of people dressed up as Erik? There were quite a few here..
but what annoyed me were these 3 girls dressed in matching tacky purple dresses who were singing some of the songs before the movie started. >.o

Onesidedpolygon Yes, I saw it the day it came out.. heart heart Was it only in my local theatre, or did you also see a bunch of people dressed up as Erik? There were quite a few here.. but what annoyed me were these 3 girls dressed in matching tacky purple dresses who were singing some of the songs before the movie started. >.o I'm the only one I saw that dressed up as Erik. My friends didn't bring their costumes..So I was the only one. It was funny though. After the movie this dude came up to me and was like "Oh, a Phantom Phan! Was the movie good? Would you reccommend it? I'm going to it right now. I've been a phan foever. I've seen the play four times...etc" Kept going on and on... gonk And all these people stared at me. whee And the ticket dude goes "Hey...Nice outfit." xd heart

*happy* The guilds are back up!
Went to see it too... I was very impressed with most of the casting job. Kristine was amazing.
But I was utterly disappointed in the casting for the Phantom. I LIKE the Phantom, but everything I like about him seemed to be taken out or downplayed while the parts of him that weren't so savory were upheld and accentuated. Such is Hollywood. I hated the rock-sing-song type voice he did. But Erik was the only real complaint I have. The chandelier falling at a different part DID startle me a bit, though not so much, and I think they overdid the "now" scenes, but the majority of them were done in an excellent fashion.
And Raoul was ADORABLE. If you don't say he didn't start to seem awesome by the second part of the movie, you're crazy. He was so neat in the sword fight, and looked GOOD at the end of the film.
I bet you can pictures from screencaps once the movie comes out on DVD.
What about the pros and cons of POTO being on movie and broadway? The enchantment wasn't quite so high with the movie, though I loved the extra scenes they did. What do ya'll think?
