"Yes," she replied simply. His facial features reassured her to know that even though he may have a black heart, he still had something inside him worth living for. He was the only male she could stand without trying to kill them or upchucking at their horrible romance techniques.

He smiled slightly, giving a gruff nod, that meant that she had made him happy, but he looked at her one last time.
