Roobarb RoseTyler24 She reminds me way too much of Kathy Griffin for me to like her and her whiny voice xd I like Kathy Griffin! Me too! Maybe that's why I like Donna so much. I just like those sort of women. Brash but too clever and funny for you to care xd

I think Donna is very perceptive and wise, and she really cares for the Doctor without getting all schoolgirly over him, which is really refreshing after, oh, every other human that's been in the TARDIS in new!who (except for Mickey and that kid that ended up with a computer in his head, heh.) Martha and Jack falling head over heels for the Doctor were a bit annoying to me, because it struck me as a cheap shortcut to motivation; almost-but-not-quite shoddy writing. I like them both a whole lot more now that they've moved on. Rose.... meh. I think her having a crush on the Doctor is more plausible, though the idea of them as a couple gets me a bit eye-twitchy. But in any case, I'm glad that Donna manages to love the Doctor in a platonic way, and not idolize him.
Also, she's hilarious and surprisingly hot in period clothing.

ogs-chan Not sure if this is a reflection on the actress or the character, but with Donna there's drama rather than melodrama. And for that, I love her. I want her to meet Ianto! xD I mean, surely she'd have met him at least once already while investigating "funny stuff in Cardiff" or whatever she said, I forget. And yeah, Jack and Donna meeting would just be hilarious. I think it might happen, if so I'd be soooooo happy! I was just thinking about how fun it would be for Donna to meet Jack. I guess they will, this season, though, huh? Yeah, there's gonna be an explosion of some sort coming up, and I can't wait to see how many people are involved and which side of good vs. bad it falls on! Wee! Plus also, I love what I've seen of the Catherine Tate show, but I guess I don't live in a place that has had the chance to be sick of her. I thought the show was genius after I'd watched a couple episodes. *shrug*

It's typical, isn't it? Something like the Lauren Cooper character who, to me, is making fun of chavs, becomes their biggest idol. :/ So what got annoying for me wasn't the show itself but everyone yelling around AM I BOVVERED!? (having said that, I do too sometimes) Personally I think of Tate more as an actress than a comedienne *shrug* I can't wait. That's going to be hilarious! xD

i like her for a couple of reasons.. the main one being when the doctor was like i need a mate and donna was like what? you need to mate??? and the doctor was like nooo a mate.
and plus shes not a fan girl towards him. she knows what she wants and shes not afraid to say it.

Donna is classic. After she met the doctor, she started caring about the world, plus she's funny, and doesn't love the doctor, but likes him as a mate ( friend mate eek ) I like the remark form Agatha Christie when she says that they look related, because when you think about it, the doctor and donna do bicker like a brother and sister might smile They're cool as friends! On a less serious note, their names can't be mixed to form a couple name! It would always just be Donna and Doctor rofl Haha, yea... sweatdrop

Did Agatha Christy say that? I thought that was in Fires of Pompei, with the whole "I'm Spartacus" thing. And the guy was like "Oh, yes, of course, brother and sister. You DO look alike."
And then they just looked at each other and were like "Really?"
But yeah, they do seem almost like siblings in their interaction, which is great.
Also, I've got to say that I love Donna more and more as the season goes on. I think she's easily my favourite companion so far (in NewWho, at least. I haven't seen enough of OldWho to form an opinion on the companions then, though from what I've seen of Sarah Jane, she's pretty cool).

I could've sworn it was Agatha Christie, but then again, I haven't seen either episodes in quite a while, lol. But either way, they do seem related. sweatdrop

POTENTIALLY SPOILERS POST, BUT WHITEOUT ISN'T WORKING!! CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! S P O I L E R S P A C E So, seeing all the theories going on right now about the last episode, one particular theory seems to be that Donna is possibly a Time Lord, perhaps even a regeneration of Romana who's memory has been wiped. Considering the whole "walls between the universes crumbling", and Romana being in a different dimention, this is actually quite possible. Perhaps she felt the universes crumbling but, unable to travel between them, sent a projection or something of herself into the Doctor's dimention to try and warn him, and this projection took the form of Donna Noble? Or something along those lines. Also! Ceribri And I had a thought, while reading comments on a review. Donna ‘Noble’ another word for ‘Lord’ and the endless reminders that she’s ‘just a Temp’ – which is a contraction for the Latin “Tempus” meaning ‘Time’ Hmmm! The fact that Rose declared Donna to be... the most important woman in all Creation…and the reaction of River Song to Donna...
More later, I gotta go act! (WHY NOW I WANNA FINISH THIS POST)
Coincidence? Maybe. Or maybe it's forshadowing! The most significant hint would be in the latest episode, while Donna was sitting in the steps at the shadow proclamation, you can hear her heartbeat. If you listen closely, you can just barely hear what seems to be a second heartbeatAnother theory is that Donna somehow becomes the heart of the TARDIS. the ood ooh I just found a theory that I really really like concerning the TARDIS and Donna Noble Quote: The TARDIS sacrafices itself, and in some way, Donna saves it by fusing herself with the heart, becoming the new TARDIS heart. Support for this theory being that she's mentioned many times that she " wants to travel with the Doctor forever." What better way? Also, in the BBC trailer for Journey's End, she's seen alone in the TARDIS, it being on fire and in danger. The fortune teller in Turn Left, in fear, asked her, "What will you become?" In The Stolen Earth, the lady at the Shadow Proclamation building said, " I'm sorry for your loss," a possible loss of humanity or freedom. This would justify the phrase "'everlasting' death for the companion" by Dalek Cann. As well, it is similar to the pre-release speculations surrounding Astrid, suggesting that her character was, in fact, the heart of the TARDIS I don't know why but I like the idea. This idea is an interesting one, and could add a certain dynamic between the Doctor and the TARDIS. I can imagine him being all like "Oi! Donna, cut that out!" anytime the TARDIS starts acting up. lol. I can also imagine the TARDIS becoming a lot more rude towards him afterwards. E N D O F S P O I L E R S SO! Those are some theories regarding Donna. Discuss!

When I first met her I wasn't sure if I liked her. I missed some episodes and didn't realize that there was a change of Companions. Since then I've discovered that I really like her. She seems to be the most natural character so far and isn't afraid to tell the Doctor like it is.

Some people show off their beauty because they want the world to see it... Others try to hide it... --------------------------------------- I thought she was awesome in the final biggrin --------------------------------------- Because they want the world to see something else..

goddess_oraorchid Eh she's funny the thing is with Donna in "Runaway Bride" she's supposed to be annoying, bossy, sassy, dense, and flaky. Which she is but by the end of the episode after being tricked and lied to and almost killed she realizes there is more to the universe then just her. Before it was "Me, my wedding my fiance, my family memememememememememe!" but after meeting the Doctor she realizes that attitude prevents her from seeing "the big picture" that's why I like her And then Rustle T. Davis screws us all over by undoing this character development in the space of 30 seconds at least. Geee, thanks alot rolleyes .
