Rain waited by the door ready for a quick escape more out of habit than anything as she listened to the old man's story. Though to her it sounded like bs it was still more amusing than anything she had going on at the moment. Perhaps she would summon a spirit later to ask about the past. Though she could have done it before history had always bored her, Rain was more involved with what was going on in the present and where she could go next. Very little surprised her anymore and this was starting to get on her nerves. That was part of the reason she had chosen this adventure. The thrill of a hunt.
Izrail was leaning against a wall as he spoke listening with rapt attention. She loved stories and real or not was prone to believing them. Well all except the one of how she fell from heaven. That was just ridiculous. Taking a small step forward her bare feet made no noise on the flooring as she examined the room wondering about the responses of the others. It was nice to be around those who were not human. If by some off chance she made a friend there was a chance that they would outlive her for once.

Jason listened to all this and then looked from left to right after Ramiel had said his peace. "Well then, if no one is going to speak up after that impressive display of... Discretion by Ramiel, I'm Jason. I'm just a mere human that has been shunned by his own world and would enjoy to find a place that would except him. As for my age, I'm not really ready to give that out," said Jason as he too would take off his hood, revealing his blond hair as well as blue eyes with slits of a dragon. "It is a pleasure to make acquaintance with you all... Especially you Ramiel. It will be fun trying to figure you out during times."

Noticing the small dark creature was annoying someone, Sari motioned for the darkling to come back. It hesitated for a moment before bouncing back to Sari, who picked ut up and placed it back on her shoulder. She decided to introduce herself next because most of the people seemed hesitant to speak. “I’m Sari and I’m a sorceress. Most of the spells I know have to deal with dark matter and shadows. I don’t remember anything past three hundred years ago, so I’m not sure of my age.” She said while examining all the others in the cabin.

While Ovan was talking, the small little black creature on her head was beginning to grow too bothersome. Luckily it went away after a few moments. When the speech was finished, Liah looked around at the other adventurers, immediately looking away. 'Is it necessary that I introduce myself?' She asked the beautiful bird. She chirped and ruffled her feathers in response, choosing not to use their link. She sighed and looked around, unsure of who to talk to first. *Edit

Sintariun pondered what to do and finally couldn't stand to do nothing. Jumping and landing on the ground silently, the elf placed a hand on her hip and gazed at the two with her amythest eyes. E'n ofloet dwod E on od o tezotvomdoji. E ta mad cmah wah da zbioc naldor, amru irvim. Ez dwili omu hou E kayrt wovi o dlomzrodal ef dwili ivim ez ami? Nu moni ez Sintariun.
(I'm afraid that I am at a disadvantage. I do not know how to speak mortal, only elven. Is there any way I could have a translator if there even is one? My name is Sintariun. )

Ovan blinked slightly at the Elf, despite his wisdom and knowledge he didn't have the faintest clue as to what she was saying.
"AH Refial" He said, the second part an elvish curse. He sighed slightly before speaking again "Fa K jekil, Kyy dorrapa feh hu" He said, the tone of voice showing that he wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea, or perhaps it was the fact that she was an elf in general that swayed his mood.
(If I must, I'll translate for you)

Sintariun blinked at the offensiveness of the male by the name of Ramiel about to retort back, she heard him out. Dwomc uay omt obarajeiz da byd uay em dwez bazedeam zemki ed ziinz zykw da pi zykw om blaprin fal uay. She said the last part with slight sarcasm and an edge of defiance that she would not take crap from other races.
Jyzd dirr dwin nu moni dwim E herr zboli uay o zbiikw. The elf stated with a tinge of venom on her tongue.
(Thank you and apologies to put you in this position since it seems such to be such an problem for you.) (Just tell them my name then I will spare you a speech.)

Liah watched the exchange with interest, trying not to eaves drop. It wasn't as if she could understand what the two were saying, but she could read body language very well. Asteria shuffled on her shoulder and chirped uneasily.
'I think she can speak to me.' She thought calmly. 'She's elvish. I've heard from friends that a few are able to converse with us.'
Liah looked at the two again, suddenly gaining some courage. 'Try to tell her something.' She said to Asteria. She ruffled her feathers again while Liah started to walk toward the two conversing figures.
"My name is Asteria. Might you be able to understand me?" She said to the delicate looking elf.

Sintariun froze as she heard a light fleeting voice and turned as she listened. At first shock crossed her face and then a smile graced her expression. Uiz E kom, Ozdileo. Nu moni ez Sintariun, ed'z o briozyli da zbioc hedw uay ed'z piim za ramj zemki E'vi zbacim hedw o kliodyli af dwi falizd hedwayd ed jaemj wazderi. The elf stepped forward slowly and looked to the female holding the bird before giving a bow and looking to the hawk.
Suddenly realizing that she was the one in the center and talking she probably had a lot of attention on her, making her feel uncomfortable yet she would not allow that fear to interfere with her connection to the forest Glancing at Ramiel, Sintariun waited for him to tell the others so they wouldn't be left in the dark.
(Yes I can, Asteria. My name is Sintariun, it's a pleasure to speak with you it's been so long since I've spoken with a creature of the forest without it going hostile.)

Ramiel sighed slightly and shook his head, his back to the wall and his arms across his broad chest he looked up, making sure to catch everyones eye before speaking "Her name is Sintariun, she only speaks elvish, or at the least it appears she doesn't speak the common language. It would also seem she can speak to animals, or at least the hawk on the girls shoulder" Ramiel said calmly before leaning a little harder on the wall and looking away from the others, obviously thinking about something.

Asteria chirped again, this time without any hint of apprehension. "It is a pleasure to speak with you as well, Sintariun. This is the first time I have spoken to one with the forest's blood in their veins. Elves are not common where I come from." She paused, glancing at the figure next to them who had the uncaring air. "Is this man giving you trouble? The air here is not friendly..." She left the sentence to trail off.
Liah looked at Asteria while she spoke. It was not something she was used to, hearing Asteria speak outside of their connection, but she could understand it just as well. "Sintariun?" She said aloud, looking at the elegant Elf. She smiled and decided to introduce herself even with the language barrier. "My name is Liah." She said it clearly so that the Elf had a better chance of understanding. She didn't want Asteria to have to translate an introduction.

Wi jyzd ziinz da wovi om ezzyi hedw irviz obbolimdru. E zybbazi zani lokiz wovi zanidwemj ojoemzd yz pyd E herr mad rid ed padwil ni. Hearing her name, the elf turned to the female and tried to understand her. "L-liah?" Frowning at how weird it sounded on her tongue, the elf shook it off. Laughing at herself, the elf smiled.
Glancing back at the hawk, Sintariun stated Mad kannam? Hirr hi ta reci da ciib ayl zerimki omt blevoku. Glancing back at Ramiel, the elf gave a stiff nod in thanking, in the back of her mind, she knew that this one would be the one to give her the most grief.
(He just seems to have an issue with elves apparently. I suppose some races have something against us but I will not let it bother me.) (Not common? Well we do like to keep our silence and privacy.)

Liah nodded and smiled warmly. "Very good." She said, unsure of what to do.
"Yes, so I have heard." Asteria said in her strong voice. She glanced over at the other male and turned away. "It seems that he is unwilling to translate for you. Perhaps, if you would rather Liah and I to translate instead? I'm sure Liah will be more than willing to help." The hawk glanced to the side as Liah shook her head in agreement.
"I'd be happy to." She said. The language barrier would be tough, but she was very good at learning new languages. She hoped that, with time, she could learn to understand a bit of Sintariun's language, even though she was just a human.

Ramiel snorted slightly, smoke rising from his nostrils in small wisps "Meses tyo simr mrrf nu" He said before moving from his position at the wall and heading over to the window. He glanced silently out, checking to see if they were going have any more arrivals.
Shaking his head he closed his eyes and went back to leaning. Great, members of the two races responsible for the destruction of an entire forest, and that despise me in the same room...and I have to travel with them...perfect, just fegging perfect... Opening his eyes he glanced around the room for a moment well, doesn't seem like they know about it, must have come from a different area and clan

Zen listened to the man's story and then to everyone around him. When some silence came, he guessed it was his turn to introduce himself. "My turn I guess. My name's Zen and I'm about 16." he said. And that was all he said. His race, he felt, was something he was going to try and keep secret. Among a room of humans and elves, he felt a little out of place.
