Kliken looked down at Cassi, smiling a bit. The smaller boy was... looking to him for protection? The idea was strange to the leech but not one that he didn't like, he wanted to be strong for his new friend so he would do his best to keep from acting sad or scared, he had to be strong! He turned and started to lead the way down the hall slow enough so that Cassi wouldn't trip over his dress and to one of the tall doors. He looked up at it before reaching a small hand out to press the button that would allow the two of them entrance.
"I think the doors are so big so the dragons can get through them." He told Cassi, not that he thought there would be a dragon on the other side. Mostly he was making coversation. Kliken didn't like it when it was to quiet, it felt to lonely.
Once they stepped into the room it revealed a good sized, open field before them. The tall grass came up to Kliken's waist and was swaying in a man made breeze. Among the tall grass were a variety of common and harmless flowers for them to behold in a rainbow of colors.

"D-dragons?" The boy gulped. Dragons were scary! In the stories, they were always being mean and it was usually a knight that went and killed it to save the day. Cassi glanced around to see if there was a man in shiny armor somewhere nearby just in case there was a dragon behind the door.
As the door opened, however, the boy's thoughts shifted from evil dragons to pretty flowers. His breath caught in his throat at the sight and he wished that Kate was there with him. She'd love the pretty flowers...

Kliken gave a nod to Cassi, "Yeah, I have only got to meet one dragon so far." He was excited over meeting with other dragons, with getting to see what they were like, and one day if he were lucky getting to meet his own dragon! He couldn't help but smile at that thought as he walked through the tall grass.
"I like how the rooms look so real." They had even painted the walls in some of the rooms to look as if the scenery went on and on forever. He didn't really get outside all that much, just the occasional trip to peek out and see if Damaris was around. This was the closest he was normally to the outdoors, the different terrain rooms.

Cassi's attention was riveted upon the room. It was the most fantastic room he'd ever been in! It really looked like he could run far far and never meet any scary monsters! After all, he'd see them coming in this pretty room! With a soft, gleeful sound, the boy ran to the nearest clump of flowers and plopped down on the ground to start making a chain. He was going to make him and Kate necklaces!

Kliken watched as the smaller boy sat among the flowers and he watched as he started to make a chain out of them. The leech boy's gem colored eyes went wide, "Can you... show me how to do that?" He asked, moving to kneel down with Cassi. He started wondering if he could craft one of those into a flower crowns that he'd seen before in books.
If he could figure out how to make them then he could send one to Damaris, she would look so pretty wearing it.

Cassi glanced up at the older boy. He didn't know how? Kate had showed him, though they hadn't gotten to go outside much. They'd make the chains with other things most of the time. The younger boy nodded, holding up his own chain to show Kliken. "See, you make a little hole in the stem." He picked up a flower and demonstrated. "Then you stick another flower through it." He threaded it through. "And you just keep going like that."

Kliken watched closely as Cassi showed him how to make the flower chains. After he was certain he understood how it worked he nodded and he tried to mimic the action with a few flowers, "Ahhh, I see." He murmured then gave a little smile, "I wonder if Damaris would like a flower crown." He started lacing more of the flowers into the chain, "Girls like crowns I think. Maybe... do they?"

Cassi went back to working on his own chain when Kliken seemed to get the hang of it. "I think so..." The only girl he really knew to base anything off of was Kate. And Kate liked making flower chains, so that meant all girls did, right? "Flowers are pretty and girls like pretty things." That was definitely true. He like pretty things too, when you thought about it. His mommy had lots of pretty things!

Kliken gave a nod of his head as if understanding. There was so much that he didn't know yet which made him feel a bit foolish. He was asking questions of someone much younger then he was about things he should already know. He chained together a few more flowers and then worked on trying to make them into a crown shape, "I hope so. I wanna give this to a friend of mine." He said happily.
When the flowers had become a crown he held the item to up to look it over, inspecting it. He wanted to make sure that it was perfect for his friend before he sent it to her.

Cassi grinned and finished his first crown, working on a second. He was going to make one for Kate, too. And matching bracelets for them both! He just hoped he'd get to see her soon... The boy smiled when Kliken held up the crown he'd made. "Pretty!" This older boy learned fast!

Kliken flushed some thought it was hard to see since he had darkly toned skin. He carefully set the flower crown aside and thought to himself that he was going to have to figure out where Damaris lived so he could send the item to her. Surely the Techs would be able to tell him this?
It was as if thinking of them summoned them, the door to the terrain room that they were hanging out in opened and a tech was standing there, looking in on the pair. The women seemed almost surprised as she found the leech wasn't alone here this time, he'd brought someone with him.
She tried to recall who the little girl in the over sized dress was but it didn't come to her, must not have been a project she'd worked on, "Its about time for lunch Kliken." She'd lost at drawing straws and had to go play hide and seek, D-Corp style with a boy who was constantly disappearing from the room he was supposed to stay in. Luckily D-Corp had plenty of cameras.
Kliken pushed up to his feet, picking up the flower crown, "I... I... umm..." He didn't want to go really, wanted to stay and talk more with Cassi but... he turned to look over at the dog boy before asking, "C-Can I... can bring Cassi home first?" He asked, trying to get a little more time with his new friend.
The Tech gave a sighing sound, "Fine, fine. Make it quick I need to get back to work."

Cassi jumped when the door opened and a tech appeared. He darted to hide behind his new friend, who was brave and could talk to the techs. He was glad Kliken was going to take him back to his mommy. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to get back there and the tech was scary and he didn't want her to take him back home.
The boy clung to the older boy, his flower crowns forgotten for the moment with the scary tech around.

Kliken turned to look over his shoulder at the smaller boy before giving him what he hoped was an assuring smile. He was so scared now that the Tech had arrived, had even hidden behind him. The leech did his best to be as strong as he could for the other boy even though it wasn't something he was good at, "Come on Cassi, we will go back to your place. Your Mom might be missing you now."
He held a hand out to the boy, hoping to lead him away from the woman that was scaring him so much.

The boy nervously nodded and gulped before speaking. "Yeah, Mommy probably misses me..." Cassi muttered, quickly taking Kliken's offered hand and scooting to the side of the boy farthest from the tech. If the older boy hadn't been there, Cassi would've bolted from the room by now.

Kliken gave him what he hoped would be a courageous smile before he quickly fetched the flower accessories that they had made. When he had them all hanging off his free arm he quickly made his way out of the Terrain Room making sure to keep himself between Cassi and the Tech as she seemed to scare his friend.
"Its alright, shes not one of the bad ones." He whispered, she was a little temperamental at times and didn't really have an affectionate bone in her body but at least she didn't throw things.
He was glad when they reached the elevator and found that she wasn't following them passed the door way where she stood, watching. Once the elevator arrived they were able to escape her gaze into it.
