"The pooch?" she asked, suddenly remembering that they had the irritating dog with them. "Some annoying dog Gabrielle picked up..." she murmured with a shrug of her shoulders, grinning at the 'fight' between Meg and Gabrielle. Poor Meg, it was obvious Joxer preferred Gabrielle.

It was true, Xena was highly amused by the whole situation and had to look away and pretend to cough to hide her audible laughter. "Hey don't look at me" she said rather defensively towards Gabrielle, in a joking manor of course.
At the subject of Callisto though, her attitude changed, her face became serious again. "Yes, we found her and we got our daughter back...but she got away again," she said, glancing to Gabrielle for a moment, "We'll cross paths with her again though, eventually,"

Xena looked at Gabrielle with a grin and a roll of her eyes towards Joxer, in a non-mean way of course. "Alright Joxer, we'll take you along next time," she said with a shake of her head, shrugging his arm from around her and walking over to the bar.

Gabrielle smirked at Joxer. "Thanks, Joxer." Might as well let him think it. He's got a good heart, at least, sh told herself.

Arnicus immediately liked this Cyrene lady, and he wagged his tail enthusiastically as she scratched behind his ears. "Thank you!" he told her, but of course, all she heard was "Arf!"

Gabrielle told Xena's mother that she's been doing good lately. No serious injuries..no crucifixions. No kid- wait.. how many times was she kidnapped this week? Annoyingly she stopped thinking about the attempts at defeating Xena by using her 'sidekick'. Stupid people..stupi- unbeli- I loothe them. No Gabrielle. Hate destroys the soul... Hate destroys the so- Ares, he can be okay. He can be irratting and full of crap but he can help Xena out once in a while. Calist- she can be..she can... Who am I kidding?, I loathe her so much.
Gabrielle put the barking puppy on the ground. "Don't get lost around here, okay?"
