As Yuki and Natamo reached the safety point and the guards were making their way towards them, Tenmoki noticed that Natamo hadn't been the only one having a hard time getting past those catapults. With her two clones, Yuki had them press forth by jumping over the walls. One clone was easily taken down, but the other had made it past just enough to initiate an earth technique. "Doton Kekkai: Dorodomu," the clone spoke as she slammed her hands into the ground just when she made it to the otherside. As the dome rose up high enough to encase a few catapults, a spear was slung right through the clone's back, returning it to a pile of mud.
While her clone held back some catapult attacks, Yuki turned to Kane. "Let me check you quickly," she said in a rushed tone, as her hands took on that passive chakra look. Running her hands over his body, Yuki's chakra quickly mended the hits and burns from the catapults. Once she was finished, she was turned and ready to give more orders. "Kane and Natamo, hold off the guards. Naru and I will begin preparing the trap. Shinichi, have your squad head in once Kane and Natamo engage," Yuki said, turning back to Shinichi, who was short one man that was still out in the field of fire.

A moments peace was all that was given by Shinichi's swift annihilation of a catapult ready to destroy the warrior. But a moment wasn't enough to shake the concussed soldier out of his state. Even the destruction of several catapults was not enough to give Dhan what he needed, time. Several catapults may have been destroyed and others even temporarily stopped while dealing with the clones, but on the other end of the line the catapults still rained hell down as swift as before. It was only moments before the shells began exploding around Dhan again. Knocking him down, two shells landing on either side of him rocking him with their explosions and burning his flesh. The pain was enough to wake him from his state.
Keep your place in hell ready, this demon is not coming home yet...

There was no more time to play games, dhan had been beaten around by the hits he had already sustained to badly to be ready to move in time for the next barrage. IT was true he was no Shinobi, he did not have speed to avoid these attacks at the best of time. But he posses a few of the techniques they used, and that put him one ahead of any normal soldier. The Jio's had left something worth while behind after all.
The next barrage of catapult shots was leashed, the flaming orbs flew through the air towards their targets, all he needed to do was block the ones coming directly towards him and then move in to the gate while they reloaded. No more messing around...
Dhan made several hand seals in quick succession with all the speed of any shinobi, one had to be familiar with their techniques to kill them... The seals where made and a thick aura of chakra flowed from his body into two of the shrunken heads secured to his belt by their hair. When full with the chakra the heads glowed with an ominous blue color, they were alive. With only moments before the catapults crashed into his body incinerating it he thrust his hands forwards urging the spirits to move and protect their master. The one who had killed them and taken their souls for his own power, soldiers of the damned. The reanimated heads tore their hair from it's fastening on the belts and lurched forward to meet the catapults. An almighty explosion followed, with a horrible screech as the chakra reacted with the fire and fueled the fire magnifying the explosion. The spirits and their heads, their monuments where incinerated in the explosion, but they had done their job, protecting their master. And he had many more souls at his disposal.
Dhan easily moved to the gate by the time the catapults had reloaded, by then they had no more targets. He took no time to rest, his burnt skin still smoking, smothered in blood an ash he looked like the demon that burned in his soul in his blade. Ikatsui-Ago was pulled free from it's bindings across Dhans back and held tight in his mighty fists outfront. "Open the gate... They will feel the pain they have given me ten fold... And then their souls will belong to Ikatsui... We both hunger for the taste of flesh." The hatred in his voice almost like a physical entity burning into the flesh and minds of the immediate around him.

3/3 Jounin DC Fail: 10 to 50

Dance of the Damned [Bachiatari Odori] The user of the technique imbues several shrunken heads with chakra seemingly causing them to come to life and float about. The user can control the animated heads and use them to attack an opponent from several different directions or even to create a wall of flesh between them for defensive purposes. Cp Cost: 100 per animation of head. 20 per movement. Damage: 40 to 50 + Chakra mod + Ninjutsu bonus. Requirements: Shrunken head(s) Avoid: Dodge or ninjutsu. Owner: Meho Dhan.

"Well, what a pretty little boy we have here....ssssssssuch a pleassssssant sssssight!"
The serpentine voice seemed to come out of nowhere, directed not at the first team that had gotten to the gates, but at a feminine little boy. Roz's eyes shone dangerously as she leapt from her perch on a tree, her clothes deceptively simple. Black capris, standard sandals, and bandages around her breasts, Roz gave Kane an eerily friendly smile and leaned against the closest tree, her bo in one hand and the other hand on the tree. She hissed and stepped forward, her large, child-like eyes almost innocent as she approached him. With her creepy smile growing ever larger, she jumped at Kane, wondering if the boy scared as easily as the village children. She then realized that maybe that hadn't been the smartest thing to do, as her purpose was to trick this little brat into not fighting against the village, or kill him...either way, she would be satisfied. "Oh, do forgive me, sweetheart...you're simply just too delicate to be in a place like this. Don't you think you're fighting...maybe on the wrong side?"

MAYA! HEADS UP!
The Orochi’s means of keeping the village secret from the outside world had rewarded them well; not once in it’s dark and mysterious history has the village recorded an attempt at invasion from outsiders, that is, until now. But that of course did not mean these were not ready for that possibility, it would be truly naïve to discard that possibility at any given time. When intrusion is imminent, it’s obvious that time is required in order to create a strategy for when the invaders succeed, if, they succed. For this, the Orochi’s have catapults…one may think that these are not very effective, and if you do, you’re damn right, since these are really only meant to slow down, or in other terms, they’re simply a pain in the a**. But then comes the question…what if? What if these do not hold off intruders long enough to make the proper preparations? Well, for those who asked themselves this question, the answer can be found soaring thru the skies at this exact moment in direction of the small distraction group at the main gate. If one would observe the moving shadow from between the trees of the swamp, one would believe it was just another boulder from a catapult…and you’d be half way to the answer. There’s normal catapult ammo…then there’s this thing. If the flying boulder was not enough to attract the groups attention, maybe the head splitting, roar it let out in mid-air would. Attached to the boulder was this 8 foot tall, well built, muscular, ridiculously big monster which sported the long black dreadlocks all the warriors from the village had, so yep, an Orochi, and not one of the good kind. This guy’s fangs were as ridiculously big as he was, and the size of that jaw and the oozing acid indicated that he was one of the Orochi’s mutated warriors, and from his actions one could presume that he was part of the welcoming committee from the village. His name was Rok, and now his traits were visible as he was mere yards away from the shinobi group. His long dark hair reached down to the back of his knees, and the only thing covering his robust, toned body was a dark brown loincloth which hid his essentials. Around his neck, he used the upper jaw of three croc skulls, the middle one bigger than the rest. The rest of his necklace was composed of large snake fangs, and the accessories which caught the most attention he wore on his head and shoulders. On both of his shoulders he had the upper part of a rhino skull, both with two large horns which looked sharp enough to scrape diamonds. On his head, he wore a ram's skull, with two rhino horns attached to it, from the same species of as the ones on his shoulders. The ram’s horns were proportional with his body, and this gave Rok the appearance of not a human nor a monster, but a demon. His yellow, reptilian eyes looked menacing from behind the ram’s eye sockets, and they were locked on a single member of the shinobi squad, for no particular reason. One could now see clearly that what he carried on his long arms was a boulder similar to those from the catapults, except this one was spiked and wrapped in chains, and also larger in size. Before Rok’s enormous feet crashed on the damp swamp grounds, he let go of the gigantic boulder and threw it in the group’s direction. Once he landed and slid on the ground in a boisterous crash, he took hold of a set of chains around his arms and pulled at them. It was now evident that the chains around his waist and arms were the same as the ones wrapped around the spiked boulder, and all this time Rok had been the one in control of the deadly boulder. Like the apocalypse horseman on his pale white horse, Rok pulled on the reigns of chaos and aimed death’s course towards a dark haired, good looking woman which was now the target of the curving boulder the Orochi savage controlled. This was another of the Orochi’s alternatives to slow down an intrusion, aside from the catapults ammunitions: a single boulder with a hell of a targeting device. Just one of many surprises the Orochi’s have up their sleeves… Welcome to our village!
Attack: Heavy[400] + endurance [30] + 1d20[11]=441
Spiked Ball And Chain…Thing [Heavy] Rok’s unique weapon, engineered after great frustrations over lost catapult ammunitions led him to realize the best way to hit the spot is to guide the ammo yourself! A spiked boulder wrapped in chains which can be used to control it’s path, if you have the necessary strength of course! (Although it may probably be just an excuse for Rok to launch himself on the catapult…it’s worked well so far, so why stop now?!) Damage: 18-22 + Strength Requirements: ??? (Can we work this out later? Like maybe if someone became interested in the huge, spiky ball and chain or sumthin’? He’s a big a** jounin! Trust me, he has em’!) d20 + Sense [12] -> 18 sigh... DC: 24 = FAIL]
Kane stood still as Yuki checked him over and gave several hisses of relief as his cuts and burns healed and closed up. His singed hair hadn't been able to be saved, though... as Yuki turned away, Kane got on his guard. They were working as a team so he had to be ready for anything. In case by some freakish reason the others didn't detect some sort of danger he would have to warn them. Then he heard Yuki's orders.
"Me?!" he blurted out, heart rapidly falling, before bouncing back up as he tried very hard not to feel disheartened. You could compare the movement to someone on a trampoline. They fall down from the air and bounce back up, but not as high as they once had been, and the process continues. "Roger.." he eventually said as he headed out to the front. Even if he was generally useless on the battlefield he was going to endeavour not to die. It was a pity that his mother hadn't had a chance to present to him his present and it was also a pity that he would not be able to use it anyway...
His opponent soon appeared. She would actually have been quite attractive had he an attraction for the female sex. As it was however Kane thought her quite pretty, but was still on his guard. A smile was on her face that was as friendly as the kids back in Shimagakure, but Kane had learnt from Kyoda that appearances were deceiving. He flinched a little as the snake girl jumped at him, but stayed where he was, abrupt with eyes open wider and a glare on his face.
"I'm not fighting on the wrong side," Kane said although it was by reflex more than anything. Why he replied he had no idea. He didn't actually have to dignify that statement with a response, so it was probably a testament to his nerves that he did. He readied himself and kept an eye on her so that he would be able to predict her movements better. Kane saw the bo and was disappointed since that would mean a lot of pain.. yes, he still had a long way to go.

Natamo's whip was barely in her grasp when she attempted to protect herself from the incoming object - there was no way she could dodge something going that fast. What the bloody hell, though, was that beast controlling it!? Natamo's harsh grunt almost echoed, and boulder hit her head on. Had she been but a mite stronger, she might have been able to make some headway in defending herself, but as it was, she would have trouble staying on her own two feet if this monster could keep attacking with this thing. Between grunts and winces, she studied her opponent - a reptilian monster covered in the skeletal remains of things he had probably eaten. They looked to be huge animals, too...though the animal tamer was impressed by the potential power of this ... man? ... she knew she couldn't linger on that too long.
Natamo bared her teeth and snarled, cracking her whip sharply and hoping beyond hope that the beast wasn't smart enough to call her bluff. She lunged, her whip tracing her line of attack as she snapped it towards the beast's wrists. With luck, she might get a hit in on this beast...without luck, she wouldn't get the chance to train ocelots. That in itself made Natamo's feral yells grow in volume, and she shrieked in rage.

Roz's eyes glittered - she saw the boy eying her bo, and tapped it against the tree, leaning it there and then standing without it. She didn't much feel like playing anymore... "Well, boy, are you going to sssssstand there all day? Or shall I find a more sssssuitable place for you to die?" Besides, confusing prey was the best way to mess with them - nice, mean, nice, mean...the ever changing attitude of a person might be the right touch when fighting with someone else who doesn't know them. With a harsh hiss, Roz jumped towards the boy, her hand stretched backwards and swinging in swiftly to lay a sharp slap! against the boy's face. If he didn't dodge, it was very likely that Roz's nails would piece the skin and leave cuts that would scar over and never disappear. And not only that - hit or miss, Roz was in the perfect position to use the force from her slap to turn full circle, bringing up the opposite leg and pummeling the boy with that too.

As Natamo and Kane began their battles, Yuki continued hers, taking care of the meaningless guards that had absolutely no skill and were just there for show it seemed. "Naru, once we get most of the guards clear, begin setting the explosives," Yuki said to the boy. He was only a chunin, but he knew his traps rather well and the woman knew that he would be able to find spots to set it all up. "Team 2 move up," Yuki said back towards Shinichi and the others knowing that her squad had the gates and guards under control.

It seemed that the girl wasn't serious after all, about him not being right for the field, since she immediately jumped to attack him. Kane was glad that he was looking because he would never have been able to anticipate the move otherwise. He still had a ways to go before he could dodge on reflex. As he moved, he could feel the wind whipping at his face from the movement of her hands, and see clearly the glint coming from her sharp, sharp claws. He was really glad that they hadn't met their mark right now. Kane then noticed a follow-up kick - this girl was good, sadly for Kane - and quickly rolled just far away enough to be out of range.

Aya had been lying in wait, while everyone was engaging the enemy and making their way past the catapult fire. She had been told to hold back and let the first team do their task before moving onto hers. She was getting herself all worked up by watching Shinichi and Dhan use their Ninjutsu to block the catapults and move forward. Aya couldn't wait to move into the village and see what other type of Ninjutus would be used. She felt like a little kid at a circus act, seeing things that awestruck her. Aya's ears were wide open and eager to hear the order to move up. It was her mother that had given the ok and Aya was on it faster than anyone! Dashing past Kane and the Orochi fighting against him, it was hard for Aya not to aid him or stop to help. She had to stick to the battle plan and move forward. Besides, her mother was in the area and Aya knew that Moma-Yuki wouldn't let anything happen to anyone.
Once she was standing in front of the doors, Aya looked back to pick out Maya and Baki. "Ready!?" she asked anxiously, not waiting for her reply. The moment Aya was done speaking the word, she was already charging at the door ready to bare her shoulder into the tough wood with all her might to knock it down. Granted, there wasn't much strength in Aya's body, but she would try to throw all her weight into it! Which wasn't much either...
