Chairlie blushed slightly as Tonks dragged him down to sit by her. Merlin he had to stop blushing! And the fact that he saw her hair go orange wasn't helping matters.

"So, how goes OWL year for young Master Weasley?" Tonks asked primly. Her blush had finally faded, and she liked to think that she was perfectly calm now. But, if she were to get up and walk around, she would surely trip over a protruding tree root every few seconds.

Tonks started laughing in the same unladylike way she did with Tom, then suddenly stopped. What if Charlie thought it was gross for a girl to laugh like that? She settled for a large grin. "I can hardly wait," she said sarcastically.

Chairlie smiled along with her, he loved hearing her laugh. "So." he began. There was a Hogsmead weekend coming up and he really wanted to go with her, sweep her of her feet, run away to France and....ok, mabey not that drastic...yet
"Theres a Hogsmead weekend coming up...i-if you wouldn't mind...its ok if you don't, i mean its not like really want to...o-o-or I-I do but." he stopped and cleared his throat. Don't be so freaking obvious! he shouted mentally. "Urgh, someone must've hit me with a stutterng curse." Was there such a thing? s**t! "Anyway wouldyouliketogowithme." he rushed out.

Tonks was starting to grin at Charlie's stammering and excuses until he asked her to Hogsmeade. She was almost certain that even her hair turned ether bright pnk or red, but didn't dare look she was so embarrassed. She looked over at Tom for only a moment, then looked back at Charlie. "Charlie, I am so sorry, but I'm going with Tom." Oh great, make yourself sound like a slut by being fourteen and going to Hogsmeade with a seventh year even though it isn't a date, which you stupidly left out. Oh my god, you're so stupid, so useless and ugly and worthless, and URGH! Just look at you! You're such an idiot!

"I'm sorry," Tonks said weakly. She had the insane urge to slap herself in the face several times, but thought that would look a bit odd. She very well didn't want to explain everything to Charlie, especially nearly asking out Demitrius, so decided she would simply send him a note during Dinner or something.

Tonks was grateful for the change of subject. "Of course Transfiguration is a b***h, just look at McGonagall!" McGonagall was not exactly evil, but certainly not a particularly cuddly cat, and for some reason Tonks was incredibly fond of her. She only put on the annoyed act for her friends.

He laughed. "Ah, lay off her, shes just grumpy because Dumbldore has rejected her advances." It was a joke among that Chairlie and some of his friends that there was a secret relationship going on between the two. Each week they had a new addtion to the story of their torrid love affair, it was like a soap opera really.

Tom snapped back to reality after what seemed like a long conversation that he had missed. He threw in a chuckle to make it less obvious that he had been dozing off.
"So. Speaking of lovers...," Tom began smoothly before adding a 'just kidding' at the end. "I actually don't mind if you go with Charlie, Tonks. You see, I was under the impression that we were going as friends and if someone more important asks you... then... well."
He felt kind of out of place in the company of two younger students. It had been easier with Tonks alone; he had not thought of her as a whole lot younger. But with Charlie hanging around, he was well aware of the age difference - and it wasn't hard to see that each of them were crazy about eachother.
In fact, they were kind of cute. Tom didn't want to put Charlie out of luck this Hogsmeade weekend. Afterall, Charlie was an important member of the Quidditch team, and Tom didn't want things to get awkward between them. Especially if he got the impression that Tom was trying to make a move on his girl, which Tom certainly wasn't.
