Kliken gave a rapid nod of his head, "Y-Yes! I'm very excited. M-Ms. Dragonsbane said that the dragon would be my friend, one who would always be at my side!" He said, thinking about the words of the nice teacher. No matter what happened in the future he was assured that his dragon would always be with him. It was something that got him through a lot of the long, lonely moments of his life.
"Wow, you got to see Red as an egg?" He asked, his long sleeves flapping in excitement, "I wonder when I will get to see my dragon's egg. I wonder what it will look like." The little leech got a dreamy sort of expression on his face as he tried to guess what his future dragon friend might look like.

Damaris smiled at Kliken, he was a tough little guy. She knew when she was living at D-corp for a period time after her first family she didn't want to do much of anything, or talk to anyone.
"Uh-oh!" Damaris said suddenly realizing it had been a while since all the other kids had completely left. "I'm gonna be late getting home, and my dad might get upset with me." She said quickly slinging her back pack off her shoulders and taking out a piece of paper and pencil.
"I have to go now Kliken, but if you ever get lonely, and want to play you can call me and I can come and play with you." She said scribling her number on the piece of paper and handing it to him.

Kliken looked down upon the piece of paper that he had been handed as if it were made of gold, "W-Wow... thank you Damaris." He murmured, flushing happily and hugged the piece of paper to his chest, "I will take good care of this. Will call you too."
He was sad to see that she had to go but at the same time he was happy over the fact that she had talked to him as long as she had, befriended him, and even gifted him with her number, "Thanks for today. It was wonderful."

Damaris laughed a little, "Yes, it was fun," She agreed with a smile, "I'll come and visit you this weekend kay?" Damaris knew the little boy needed some one to play with, but she also knew if she was too late AJ would start to have a panic attack and would do nothing short of calling the police and putting out missing posters.
"Come on Red, time to go." She said nudging the dragon with her foot to awaken him from his slumber.
Red woke up with a grunt and was begining to ignore Damaris because she had woken him up from his wonderful dream, however it came back to him that the food in his dream was waiting for him at home. So he wasted no time getting up and waiting for Damaris to finish her good bye so they could leave.

The leech boy watched as Damaris went to wake her dragon, he gave a smile before he walked over to pick up his book. He tucked the piece of paper with the number on it into the book where he thought it would be the safest, "Bye-Bye Damaris, Red!" He called, waving to them as they headed out. He then turned to looked at the large doors that lead into the D-Corp building.
He gave a little smile as he approached the doors, feeling better about going inside knowing somewhere inside there could the egg that was his friend. He pushed against the door and slid inside, letting the heavy doors close after him.
