Mudclaw sighed in reluctant agreement with Crowfeather's assessment. Panicfur was just hopeless - her name was a perfect fit - but he'd had some hope for Gleamingmist.
"It was our reaction to the warnings, not the warnings themselves, that is the problem. If StarClan was testing our bravery, then we've truly shown ourselves to be cowards. The actions of a few cats have put WindClan in terrible danger!"
He wanted to go on, but he frowned at Berrykit, hit by a sudden thought. Kits had big mouths. No matter if she agreed with them, the first warrior to bring the subject up would get an earful from her. If they were going to talk in-depth it needed to be without the kit. And the perfect opportunity was in sight.
"Ashpelt, Crowfeather, you should come to the Gathering." he meowed. "It'll be interesting to hear what the other Clans have to say."

If Gleam has an opposing opinion, she'll have plenty of opportunity to voice it, but this thread's just for anyone who wants to rebel. And it is going to be a very quiet operation...Mudclaw will not hide his feelings, but he will keep their plans under wraps. Only a few cats will know what's really going on >3}

"Yes. They should have thought more about the actions we took and if running was really the best solution," He meowed, then nodded.
"Theres no telling what the opinions will be, but I'll tell you one thing, I'll give ShadowClan an earful for trespassing right when we returned. But yes, it shall be an interesting Gathering indead."

Ashpelt nodded. "Shadowclan didn't hesitate to invade our territory when we were gone. They might mention something at the gathering about it. In fact, I bet they would be the first to accuse us of cowards. Who knows what the other clans will say too? It's all one big mess," she grumbled.

OoC: Thanks!  BiC: Embermask added a little hop to her steps as she set a plump rabbit on the fresh-kill pile. Her first prey brought back as a warrior! Just wait--WindClan will see what a good warrior I am. The dark red she-cat thought, her eyes sparkling. I'll take a quick rest, before going hunting again--it's good to be home. Embermask flicked an ear, as a question surfaced in her mind.
Would she be chosen to attend this Gathering? Oh StarClan yes! The first Gathering with WindClan back. My first Gathering. Perhaps my extra hunting will pay off.

"They'll be lucky if all they get is an earful." Mudclaw growled, thinking vengefully of the day they found their borders moved back. ShadowClan deserved a good beating for their insolence - he'd like to sink his claws into the cats who marked the border especially. ThunderClan will probably support us." he said in disgust. ThunderClan's help was worthless; it'd only make them look weak.
He stared into Ashfur's eyes, then Crowfeather's, before flicking his gaze over the camp. "Whatever happens, we can't let them know how much trouble we're in." Mudclaw was watching Embermask trot into camp. Young warriors like her were a rarity right now. If another Clan attacked, could they fight them off? Or would they lose their home again?
(@Taki; yup yup, Crowfeather is trusted...it took a moment of thought to decide on trusting him, but they know each other pretty well x3)

((XD oklies! Good >3 *now thinking moonshadow would fit so perfectly in here with her attitude*))
Crowfeather nodded, flexing his claws.
"Just because a Gathering has a truce, dosnt mean its there all the time. We will have our revenge one day..." He muttered quietly and darkly. Then looked back at the camp aswell. They were all adjusting back to their old ways of life. He shook his head. They should have never left.
