I'm so confused...

This is what I think (sorry if I am wrong, or offend anybody because of anything):
Being Wiccan is like being a follower of the religion. You believe in the stuff, but you don't necessarily practice magic. You can, of course.
Being a witch is another step into the religion when you are actually practicing magic and being in harmony with the nature around you.
That's just what I think...

Now I am sort of confused...

"Follower of that religion?"

Have you READ the Charge of the Goddess? (written in the 50s by Doreen Valiente)

Quote:
Whenever ye have need of any thing,
once in the month, and better it be when the moon is full,
then shall ye assemble in some secret place,
and adore the spirit of me, who am Queen of all witches.

There shall ye assemble, ye who are fain to learn all sorcery,
yet have not won its deepest secrets;
to these will I teach things that are as yet unknown.

And ye shall be free from slavery;
and as a sign that ye be really free,
ye shall be naked in your rites;
and ye shall dance, sing, feast, make music and love, all in my praise.
For mine is the ecstasy of the spirit,
and mine also is joy on earth;
for my law is love unto all beings.

Now.....all 'modern' wicca is derived from traditionalist *points upward*, which is derived from occultism, freemasonry, etc....

You can believe whatever the heck you want to believe. Your PRACTICE, your PRAXIS, is what makes you what you are.

Going into a church no more makes you a christian than going into a garage makes you a car.

Without PRAXIS, you might as well be agnostic/still seeking. If someone calls themself a Christian and never goes to church or never studies the bible, how Christian are they really?

It is definately something to think about. confused
