Mel laughed with her. "Really now? I never thought of myself as a teacher of any kind but that sure makes me feel better about myself, me being able to teach somebody something," he said, puffing up his chest proudly.
He looked up at the sky as they went along, admiring the wide array of colors that swirled together with the clouds in the sky. He was usually torn between liking the colors in the sky and dreading them. On the bright side, they were very colorful and beautiful but on the other side that usually meant the end of the day. Having to start over again when the sun rises again. Usually he left his friends around the time the sky changed colors and it wasn't a good thing to look forward to. "Yeah that would be nice to have it like that all the time, it's always so pretty. Pink and orange and sometimes purple too. Weird but really cool. But doesn't that mean that we have to leave soon? Since that usually means the day is ending?" He frowned a little as he looked from her up to the sky again. "I wish the day was longer. A lot longer."

"Well you know." Porsche then said, while nodding her head. "I think we still have time! The sunset still lasts quite awhile, so we might as well enjoy it! I'm usually most active at this part of the day, since they are my favorite colors! So don't worry, there is still more we can do!" And with that, the mare bounced a few steps away from Mel, while enjoying the short serge of energy. She was enlightened as usual, since she loved when the land changed colors like that.
"The day is haaardly ending! We are older now, remember? So we don't have to be so swift about returning home." Porsche was fluttering her wings with excitement while glancing up at her favorite pinks and oranges. "What else shall we do? All the bugs are hiding, so now we have no others to find!" And that kind of sucked, didn't it? It wasn't summer yet, and she wanted the summer bugs to come out and play.

Mel smiled wide at Porsche and bounded after her happily. "Well then let's not waste time!" With that, he shot off through the tall grass, zipping and zooming each way before circling around and coming back beside her so she didn't have to keep up. "You said you're most active at this time so I'm going to wear you out, you'll most definitely collapse of exhaustion." He grinned at her and took off zooming again.
He would have told her that he really never went back home at the end of the day since he was out on his own but he didn't want to put a damper on their fun. "Well since there aren't any bugs out right now," he called back. "We'll just have to find something else to have fun with!" What they were going to have fun with though, he had no idea.

She was glad to see that Mel was just as pumped as her, and she darted back and forth while wisping her mane around as well. Her wings always bounced up down in merriment, and she was truly having a good time. "Haha, even now you are faster!" she exclaimed, but she did enjoy watching the stallion run. He always looked so natural when he was zipping and zooming, and she hoped to find something that made her that happy as well!
"Ah you are right! The bugs are all asleep." And since the fireflies weren't out, there were no summer bugs around yet! The mare slowly stopped herself from a run to a trot, and within moments she was slowly walking while gazing up at the sky. "Ah, the clouds are moving out of the way! Soon we can see some stars." One by one stars were popping out left and right, and she gleamed as she stared up in delight. "Do you like stars, Mel?"

Mel continued running around until he was almost worn down to a point where he'd collapse. He trotted up beside Porshce and looked up at the darkening sky that started to twinkle with stars. "It really is pretty. My mom told me about shooting stars one time, I can't wait to see one of those. She said it's when a star dies that it falls from the sky, which is kinda sad but it streaks through the sky with a really long tail and it's supposed to be really cool. You can also make a wish on one and it's supposed to come true." He smiled at her before looking back up at the sky. "Maybe we'll get lucky sometime and see one. Maybe on a night when we're looking for the glowing bugs."
((Sorry I took so long X_X))

"I think I remember one of my parents telling me the same tale about stars." she then admitted, while staring up with awe. "I remember being sad a first, since the stars disappear and stuff. But then I was reminded that the stars have to make loops across the sky, so that everyone can get a wish someday!" The sky was fair like that.. and it always made happy knowing that lots of others got to wish at the sky. "Ah, that is true." she then said again, while grinning at Mel. "I have had so much fun today, thank you again. I would most definitely like to meet up sometime in the summer.. who knows what we can find!"

The sky held so many interesting tales. Many about the formations of stars and about just the stars themselves. What kind of meaning they held an what their purpose was. It was fascinating stuff but also a tad boring at times unless you got to see in person. Mel smiled and nodded his head in agreement with her. "Definitely. Summer's not too far off so we won't have to wait too long to look for those glowing bugs. I'll keep my eye out for you wandering around. Oh and enjoy your new younger siblings. I'm sure they'll keep you busy enough." By the way he was speaking it seemed like this was goodbye for now. Goodbyes were never easy or fun but they had to be said once the day was over.

"Sounds good I will find you when I can, and thank you! I can't wait to see the little ones." she then quickly added, while holding the best smile that she could. She would have agreed with Mel's thoughts; smiles were always really hard! She remember the first time she scampered away from her parents, and even that was sad for her! "Make sure to keep training and running when you can, so the next time I see you you will be even faster!" And with that, she took a step away from Mel while saying one last goodbye, and then quickly darted in the direction of her home, knowing that she would tell her parents how much fun she had for the day!
