"Well...yeah...you're friends right?" She couldn't say she hadn't really expected a reaction like this. Most were a bit wary of raising another's children. It always took a little bit of a push, but the right words were easy to come by so it never took too long. "He must really trust you right? Why else would he go to you for help right?" She gave him a smile somewhere in the back of her mind praying that this would work.

Krad had to choke back a laugh at what she had said. Dark and him...friends? Of all the labels that their dysfunctional relationship could be classified, friends wasn't one of them. But the blond didn't have the heart to tell her that. She looked so very hopeful that he could help.

Heaving another sigh, he shook his mane out of his eyes, the long strand of hair dancing flicking over his muzzle. "He didn't exactly seek me out for help. I more...stumbled upon him..." He said, glancing sideways at the teepee. "Dark will not be happy about this, you do realize that?"

"Oh...uh..." She paused looking at the blond closely. Was she reading the situation wrong? It wouldn't be the first time she had been wrong like this but she had been so sure. She had never seen Dark really accept help from anyone before so she had figured that they were close.

"I think he'll get over it." She said finally. "He'll be a bit busy soon and after not too long he'll figure out it's for the best. He can't look over Scarlet and a couple kids after all. Things just don't work that well..." She gave the blond a hopeful look before looking back over to the teepee. "I know that this is strange and sudden but..." Her voice trailed off. She didn't know what else to say without coming across as completely desperate or rude.

Noticing her confusion over the whole situation, he chuckled softly. "Our relationship is...complicated." He explained, looking vaguely embaressed by the whole thing. "We know one another from long ago and have had our...ups and downs. But we are...tolerant and civil of one another. So you need not trouble yourself over it so much." Krad hoped that this would put the blue mare at ease, since he didn't know how else to explain. "Ask Dark if you wish for a better explaination." The blond silently cringed inside at his words, but he didn't feel like explaining just what was between them to this mare. Mainly because it was so very complicated and he wasn't quite sure what their relationship had turned into at that moment. It was something he would have to bring up with Dark at one point. But until then...since Dark lived with Lunathiel, let him explain it.

"Knowing Dark, he will get over such a decision. But there is always that first step with him, where you need to make his simple mind understand." Krad chuckled, voice teasing as he spoke the last part. Even avoiding looking directly at the mare, he didn't miss the hopeful look Luna shot his way. Giving a sigh, he shifted his shoulders slightly before speaking. "It is indeed a sudden request, and strange does not begin to cover it. But put your mind at east. If they have more then one child, I will look after the second one. And we shall pray that two little ones are all the children Dark has." Krad said this with an amused color to his voice, knowing without a doubt that he would, at some point, regret his decision.

Lunathiel said nothing but she nodded in response. So they weren't friends but Dark trusted him? Did Dark trust him? There were too many questions about this to remain unasked so she made a note to herself to hit the thief up for answers the second he was up. This did make her offer a bit stranger then she had first thought.

For a moment she was certain that he was going to refuse but when he didn't her face lit up like the sun. "Really?" She practically shouted, her excitement bubbling into her voice. She laughed a bit at herself slightly shocked that he agreed and that she could still manage to be so loud. "Sorry...but...really this is very nice of you. I appreciate it. If...you come back in a little while, a few days or so, Scarlet should have given birth..." She paused thinking about the missing mare. "I should have found her by then...but when you come back I'll let you know if she gave birth to more then one. If she did then well...you know. And don't worry about Dark, I'll explain it to him...somehow."

He blinked at the suddenly radiant expression that brightened her expression, brow quirking slightly. It must have meant quite a bit to her that he accept. At the very least, he could understand that it was a weight to be lifted off the older mare's shoulders.

Krad gave a formal bow at her thanks, hiding his smirk. Nice? Until very recently, that word was not even in his vocabulary, and here it was being used to describe him. The world must have been turned on its end the moment these children of Dark's were conceived. "I will return in a few days....Good luck with Dark." He added, unable to hide his amused expression once he straightened up.

Giving the teepee one last glance, Krad turned and started off into the dark brush, seeing as there was nothing more to say. How he would love to be there when Lunathiel explained this to Dark....Perhaps a bit of spying was in order. It wasn't like he had anywhere better to be.

"Thanks." She said hoping that she wouldn't need the luck he offered. She smiled after the stallion as he left before turning her attention back to her home. She was tired and wanted to rest but she didn't know how long she could keep Dark believing that Scarlet was with the human shamans. Not long, probably. Dark wasn't always exactly the brightest star in the sky but he could fit puzzle pieces together.

With a heavy sigh she turned away from the village to began the walk to the lake. It was where the mare had first been discovered. It was likely that she would return. At least, Luna hoped she would. At least she had one less worry. If more then one child was born then she had at least one person to look after a foal. It was a large relief but at the moment it seemed quite small.
